If you search fo this issue you'll find a few threads... how long have you had the phone? Been using mine for a few weeks and the screen seems flawless so far, touch wood.
Have had mine for 4 months, and it has not occured to me yet. Touch wood for sure.

Anyone else using an otterbox have a problem where the touchscreen goes all wonkey after the screen is on and gets hot?
I am about to cut the screen protector out and put a stickon one in its place

No overheating problems here but I just ordered some cheap screen protectors to do the same. Touch screen is not nearly as responsive with that thick piece of plastic on it. Have an Atrix 4G with a Ballistic HC with the same problem. Touch screen behaving funky until I removed the built in SP. I do think that removing the screen protector on the Vivid OBox will make it a little loose. It is already a bit creaky so we will see. This i the first Otterbox I am not happy with :/

I have this problem when I put my phone in my pocket without turning the screen off. The screen heats and the pixels wash out. Normal, as far as I'm concerned, since it happens most days and reverts after 5 minutes.
Which otterbox you using commuter or defender??

As of this week, there's a creaking sound on my upper left side (of course, where else..)
Anyone else had similar luck? Was pretty happy with it up till now, well actually I'm mostly still happy with it.
I just assume I need to buy a new screen protector now if I RMA it right? Or do they give the same device back?
And does anyone know how the RMA process works if you bought from an Australian retailer?

They send the same device back if it is fixable but it might have a new screen on it

I used to claim i got a CBOK with no problem at all. Last 2 days the screnn lift appear. How did i notice it? I just got paranoid about problems on my N7. But now i realize that this thing is so tiny that its no a problemt at all. I will no brother myself because that kind of stuff. Love my n7.

Well I didn't care about my lift but now it creaks lol
But flawless apart from the screen issue, I've never had a problem with much flicker or speaker issues, only on 4.1, but 4.1.2 fixed for me.

Hi!
I own my N4 for about 3 months now and yesterday I suddenly found some fine scratches on my display glass! I've had my HTC Desire (Gorilla Glass 1) for 3 years without any damn scratch! So I am asking myself if the old Gorilla Glass was better than the new one?! Well i've never used any case but I handle my phones carefully all the time and never put something else like e.g. keys in the same pocket.. Could this be a warranty case?
Anyone else discovering scratches on their Nexus?

i only found threads about breaking / cracking glass, not about scratches..
but if you say there are some, i'm deeply sorry and will try to find them harder
You're pockets aren't as clean as you think they are.
And no, it's not a valid warranty claim.
And yes, I do have one faint scratch on mine.

Sad day for me guys , at 3 am I dropped my phone and hit the tiled floor to my shock horror the top half of my screen is well smashed in , hardly hit the floor either I'm gutted only had phone 7 months!
Anyways I've seen a replacement glass on eBay for very little money £12-£20 British pounds
Key question is , how do you change just glass and is it easy?
Has anyone had experience with such fiddly work
Thx

ouch.. goodluck bro
Search on YouTube Samsung Galaxy s3 mini disassembly
Thanks I've looked and found a good thread on XDA but for s3 , what I think is best is heat up with heat gun to soften glue then clean new adhesive and replace new glass
Easier said than done though !

I've taken out a new contract and got the xperia since it supposedly has shatter proof glass etc

Phone is fully functional, just top half of screen is shattered
LCD and touch work 100%
Same as wife's S3 ( another story)
Shame Samsung don't make them tuffer
Or easier to replace.

I know, I know. I saw the thread about not using screen protectors, but what about the privacy protectors. I know they make them for blackberry's and I had one on the droid x.
Has anyone used any, if so, which brands and how well did it work?
thanks folks!
What thread about not using a screen protector? There's no issue using a sp

apparently it jacks with the s-pen sensor. :-/
softer ones might but any decent screen protector shouldn't have much of an effect if at all on the sensor. Might feel a bit weird but that's all

OMG, that Op should be strung up. If you go on to read the thread you will find dozens upon dozens of people disagreeing with that post, and the OP makes the most ridiculous claims. You should NOT take anything that poster says literally. I've never heard of any sp, even the super cheap ones, mess with any sensor or spen.
Buy whatever you want with confidence.
