Hi guys,
after flashing the starburst rom and over clocking and several tries to calibrate the battery my battery is still draining a mile a minute. I used the battery calibration app....have let the battery fully drain and charge at least 5 times now and I still can't get back my battery life!
I'm thinking the root of the problem, well...when I go to settings than battery use it says the screen is using between 70-80% of the battery...I am assuming that what is sucking the life out of my battery but I have no idea how to fix it. my screen time out is at 30 seconds...brightness is almost as low as it can get. ITS DRIVING ME NUTS
I am assuming I calibrated the battery correctly cause it does not drain at all when the screen is locked.
please, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I am ready to rip my hair out!
I just opened battery calibration app its at 70% 4mv isn't it supposed to be like 4000mv? or is just abbreviated?
I just flashed a new rom and still having the same issue!
trying to calibrate the new rom using battery calibration and its barely charging...been stuck on 61% 4mv for about a half hour now..
is it possible that this problem is being caused because I installed the roms with ROM manager and not CWM?
I apologize for what questions may seem dumb...I am a noob....but i have searched relentlessly for answers on this specific problem here with out finding much yet.
disregard that last question..lol..u can see how badly this has my brain turned upside down
This is my first post here, was looking on forum for solutions, used search a lot, didn't find anything that could actualy help me, so decided to post here, maybe some kind soul knows some answers
So this is the situation, I've done the battery calibration after flashing new ROM, charged it to 100% and used my phone as I usualy do, then noticed that my battery has been drained a lot by something... After fully charging it again to 100% after 1h 54min battery was on 44%...didn't play any games, watch videos, music was off, used Viber and Browser for maybe an hour, with pauses when screen was off, and in battery settings is shown that screen drained 60% of battery...
So...anyone has some solutions?

try this....
put the brightness to automatic...or less.
maybe it will help
Did that, brightness is on 45%, automatic drains it even faster.
But ty for reply

sounds like you have my phone.
if i did what you did what you did, under 4 hours it would be dead.
The first 5 or 10% of my battery (from 90-100%) seems to be way off. After I unplug my phone it will quickly go down from 100% to 95 or 90% within minutes. The rest of the battery's life seems to be normal. So I'm not convinced there's anything wrong with my battery, it's just the percentage that's off. My battery life is normal, and often lasts upwards of 24 hours, so no complaints there. It's just frustrating to see something be blatantly wrong.
Has anyone else experienced this? Were you able to fix it?

Many many users have this and its a base bug so not need to worry. Please refer to Battery Stats thread for few tips. I just posted one either on today
Normal. Batteries charge to 100% then discharge to 90%, back to 100, etc. The reason it shows as 100% is because if it showed what it was really at during the cycle, everybody would claim their phones or chargers were broken.

I already bought 2 Batteries and change roms, but still my battery keep draining and Ive already tried all those calibrate methods around the internet.
From 100% down to around 80-60% is fine, but when it reaches around 60% below, my battery starts draining for like -1% every 30 secs.
Tried different roms and a few apps running.
40% 1:07am down to 1% at 1:14am
