Any1 else having problems uploading photos via the inbuilt facebook for xperia, its since the last update I've had problems. I get a red triangle the notifications or it says its finished uploading, but it never appears in FB.... any help would be great as I cant find any answers on google or my search in here
Yep red triangle with exclamation mark inside means it failed, so it will not show in facebook.
I had a problem like this once, when my signal strength was not good, and it had a problem while it was trying to upload.
This question has actually been asked before if you search, it may also contain the answer

Strange I did search and found nothing, BTW it happens all the time not just when the signal is weak

So i have been using the phone fine with no problems in the last 2-3 months but today the phone is behaving very strange. The signal bar now have exclamation mark displaying so i click on it and it says 'no service' and i don't whats wrong with it. I tried soft resetting the phone several times but it still displaying. Solution for this problem is welcome, however i would want to prevent from hard resetting as i have a lot of software installed and i don't want to loose them or else it will take a long time to recover. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Oops posted on the wrong section, sorry
does your contacts open up?
what programs have you ran or installed?
Hi, the image attached shows a strange message that flashes on the screen for a millisecond when booting into recovery, is this normal?
SpeedMod (latest)
Cheers
So... 64 people viewed this and not one of you has seen it, or can recreate it.
Hmmm strange
Does that only happen in recovery?

does the phone work as normal ?? have you tried re flashing the rom or kernel that your running.
if its not making the phone act weird i wouldnt do anything about it,, may just be a bug.

I was thinking that exact thought as well. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Mind you that is a weird message. I know when I was playing in cm7 I would get the "kanged" message to indicate it's a test release. But that x.... Message is a real hum dinger
I alsi noticed you have the extra "GT-I9000" popup covering the samsung logo.

Last time I flashed bigmem speedmod I had a graphical blur where your message is displayed. Changed to non big mem and all was well. Happened booting into recovery and normal reboot.
Sorry for the lack of reply, didn't link for updates
The message appears on all reboots, it flashes up just before the standard Samsung Galaxy S screen appears
Yes the phone is working as normal, it just concerns me that 'something' is in there and if so, then my mind figures potential for virus?
Like other I flash and flash with little regards for just what could be in the data, I am trusting the originators a lot here, this is too easy for some 'insert your own obscenity' to place destructive code in there.
Thank you all for the replies, with such a specific name I hoped someone had come across the owner.
Maybe I left the phone out and some 'tard' graffiti tagged it LoL

Thats is down to timing, the 'name' appears so quick, by the time I hit the button, it was also displaying the next frame containing the normal logos
I'm not sure if you guys noticed it, but what you see on the screen is actually "GALAXY S" which wraps after the second A. It seems like you're having the normal "GALAXY S" message and a zoomed in version of it at the same time on the screen. The same goes for "GT-I9000" on the bottom.
Cheers

I have the same issue and cant find a solution ,
question: there's a blinking gray triangle outline in my notification bar.. why??
occasionally it will disappear, but it comes back quickly.. it also disappears if I reboot, but comes back quickly again. it wasn't there until I messed up my phone and had to restore it (see list below)
it has been like this for weeks..
I have attached a screenshot - you can see the gray triangle in the notification bar. it blinks on and off.
also, in settings->about phone->network, "Network" says "Unknown". don't see anything else unusual.
I noticed sometimes my text messages will not send, also gps seems to be worse.. not sure if either of these are related.
tried searching, found some stuff saying it's about roaming (but I'm not roaming), also found some stuff that led me to believe I might need a new sim card (can't seem to find those posts anymore though)
here's some history:
accidentally took KitKat OTA while rooted, couldn't boot into rom, recovery, or download mode
followed this guide to fix that issue
restored a backup (rooted stock 12B) from twrp
followed this guide to get back into rom
this is when I noticed the blinking triangle
tried flashing radio.. didn't do anything
noticed IMEI was zero, thought that might be the cause
used this guide, seems to have fixed IMEI but triangle is still there
gave up for a few weeks, now here I am!
edit: the triangle just disappeared for a few minutes. during that time, I could not send text messages or make calls, but data still worked.
a day later and nothing
another thing I noticed: on the lockscreen, it doesn't say "verizon". it's just blank.
I'm going to go completely back to stock as a last resort, but hopefully someone can help me figure this out
Hey guys, from time to time when i take a photo, my phone just takes a green colored shot (literally a green image). Is this also happening to other people? Also, sometimes im getting the "Cannot connect to camera" error.

Haven't came across this issue before. Maybe clear cache in recovery. Something must have derped out during the update.
