Green screencapture / cannot connect to camera when failed to take photos? - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

Hey guys, from time to time when i take a photo, my phone just takes a green colored shot (literally a green image). Is this also happening to other people? Also, sometimes im getting the "Cannot connect to camera" error.

Camera Not Working - Black Screen

First let me tell you that i've read the wiki carefully and i've tried the Camera2k5 fix and all that stuff, but nothing seems to fix this.
Since i've flashed my BA with WM2k5 ( i've tried several rom versions ), my camera stopped working.
When I open the Camera application, everything seems normal, but the image ,that should be the image being captured by the camera, is black.
Then, if i try to take a picture, the green dot turns red, and after like 20 seconds it gives me the following error: "Unable to save the captured image. 36001:500:10 Unable to get data from camera device."
Anyone has this problem? If so, any fix yet?
Anyone?
I guess i'm doomed!
Seems nobody had similar problem. There are only 2 options for you:
1. Use search and google to find other people with similar problem
2. Go back to 2003 and see if camera is just not broken.
After one year, I didn't get the camera to work, so I guess i'll have to buy another one.

whats wrong with my tilt...

how come after I record a video or take a picture the phone just displays the little pie chart/hour glass icon for like...5 minutes straight? Then, when it finally goes back to normal when i try to view the pic or vid i just took it says failed to load file?

Problem receiving MMS (yes, I have data plan)

For a while now, I have been getting the notifications that I have an MMS message received. But when I go to retrieve it (through the notification dropdown) it just takes me to my messaging and it shows nothing new. Doesn't even show me who the message was from so I can maybe let them know I didn't get it.
Anyone else had this problem before or know how to fix it?
No one has approached me saying "hey, did u get my pic message" so it probably was just joke stuff that dint really matter, but it's still annoying not knowing what was sent. It's like the message just disappeared or something.
I remember it working just fine before rooting my phone 2 months ago.
I am currently running SuperD 1.93 but it has been happening since I first rooted, in which my first rom was CM 4.12.xxx
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Well, isn't a fix, but have you sat down with a friend and got them to text you to make sure? You might just be getting the random notification, but no actual text. I know if this was happening to me I would rather get a random notification rather than actually missing out on a text. Also, it would be nice to know which way to address this issue.

Have you tried Setting>Applications(sort all)>Messaging>Clear data?

I had a friend text me "im about to send u a picture" and got the notification, but the pic never appeared so I do not believe it is a false notice. It doesnt happen often either.

I've never tried that, but I will now. But I have wiped and reflashed my roms plenty of times, wouldn't that clear all the data anyway?
Last time I wiped and reflashed was less than a week ago...

I would guess it would, who knows, I had a ghost Gmail for weeks...
Ok so clearing the message data did not help. I sat next to a friend trying to send me a pic and it would show "Unknown: MMS Received"....I'm so lost as to what to do
bumping this as I've tried lots of things, and get this error myself too. I can at least send picture messages again, but I still can't receive.
Have you called t-mobile? I had the same problem and I tried everything. Decided to give them a call just as a last option and it was on there end.
And since you just rooted and it's happened only since you rooted I would go over everything you did.

weird message on recovery screen xcyalsa?

Hi, the image attached shows a strange message that flashes on the screen for a millisecond when booting into recovery, is this normal?
SpeedMod (latest)
Cheers
So... 64 people viewed this and not one of you has seen it, or can recreate it.
Hmmm strange
Does that only happen in recovery?

I was thinking that exact thought as well. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Mind you that is a weird message. I know when I was playing in cm7 I would get the "kanged" message to indicate it's a test release. But that x.... Message is a real hum dinger
I alsi noticed you have the extra "GT-I9000" popup covering the samsung logo.

Last time I flashed bigmem speedmod I had a graphical blur where your message is displayed. Changed to non big mem and all was well. Happened booting into recovery and normal reboot.
Sorry for the lack of reply, didn't link for updates
The message appears on all reboots, it flashes up just before the standard Samsung Galaxy S screen appears
Yes the phone is working as normal, it just concerns me that 'something' is in there and if so, then my mind figures potential for virus?
Like other I flash and flash with little regards for just what could be in the data, I am trusting the originators a lot here, this is too easy for some 'insert your own obscenity' to place destructive code in there.
Thank you all for the replies, with such a specific name I hoped someone had come across the owner.
Maybe I left the phone out and some 'tard' graffiti tagged it LoL

Thats is down to timing, the 'name' appears so quick, by the time I hit the button, it was also displaying the next frame containing the normal logos
I'm not sure if you guys noticed it, but what you see on the screen is actually "GALAXY S" which wraps after the second A. It seems like you're having the normal "GALAXY S" message and a zoomed in version of it at the same time on the screen. The same goes for "GT-I9000" on the bottom.
Cheers

[Q] Issue! HTC One Crashing

Hi guys, i am kinda new here, hope i am on the right spot.
I recently bought a HTC One in the Netherlands. Its a beautiful phone! Already like it more then my rooted Xperia Z.
Today (The first day) i started installing my phone. Setted up some random things, untill i came at the Google account set-up. I already had one, so i chose that option. Then the first crash occured. The phone sent me to the screen i started 1 minute ago, the "Select language" screen.
I ignored that, and choose to set that up on an other moment.
When I tried to open Facebook, it showed me the logo, the logo moved up, but then it crashed and closed the application.
1 minute later, i tried to pull down the notification bar, but then my whole phone crashed! It rebooted.
I tried to update the phone software, didnt work. I also tried to do a hard reset, didnt work either.
The summary:
I cant set up an existing Google account, it crashes.
I cant open facebook, it crashed.
Sometimes, when i pull down the notification bar, it crashes.
Can someone help me out?
Excuse me for my grammer/typo's.
Lots of love.
Richard.

If you can get past the setup screens, do a full reset of the phone. But it sounds to me like the phone may have a manufacturing problem and needs to be returned for an exchange.

Hey Richurdt.
I know you're HTC One's issue was long resolved already. I wanna know how you fixed your issue. Because I have a very similar issue to yours before. I'm afraid that mine might be a hardware problem. I used my HTC One for almost 4mos then I had the same issues as yours came up.
I hope mine doesn't need to be returned to the store.
