[Q] CID Incorrect

Hello everyone,
First, sorry for my poor english,
My iS used the ROM CM7-RC1 and I wanted to install the latest ROM Virtuous Unity 2.33 BETA but I have a problem at the restart of my iS, it hangs on the blank page of HTC.
I made a backup before testing this ROM, so I wanted to restore in Recovery mode (Vol- + Power) but when I switch in Fastboot Mode, a loading bar appears at the top right then I've got this message :
"CID incorrect!
Update Fail!
Press <Power> to reboot."
I've seen then that I needed to have the radio S-OFF with the XTC Clip, which is not my case (AlphaRevX method)
Someone knows how can I restore my iS without access to the Recovery ? Or just an other way to fix the HBOOT ?
Thanks for you helps
HBOOT version : 1.09.1000
RADIO version : 3805.04.03.22_M
iS S-OFF with AlphaRevX

Check your SD card. It sounds like you have a file named PG32IMG.zip on it that it will try to run every time you boot into the hboot. Delete this file and then you should be able to get into recovery to restore your backup.
Oh thanks tpbklake !
It works great !

issue on 4.2.2 update

Hi,
I have an issue while updating my phone with 4.2.2 on OTA.
in recovery, I have this message :
E: Invalid Command Argument
E: Unknown volume for path *name of the update*
E: Can't mount DATA *name of the update*
Error mounting / External_SD
I tried to look for the zip file for installing manually, I can't find it.
any idea ?
Hi there,
You can get the stock 4.2.2 update from the stock ROM thread and then simply flash it through recovery to avoid such errors
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
flashing with recovery stock resolved my issue, but I have a new one.
I'm updating my phone with 4.2.2 stock, but it's kinda blocked, the update began 50 minutes ago and it's only to the quarter ...
is it possible to restart the phone and try again without issue ?
any idea?

cannot stop the update to lollipop on HTC one Dual SIM

Hi All, I have a HTC one Dual SIM M7 with M7CDUG S-OFF. (Sun Shine)
I have rooted it and have TWARP boot loader on board.
I have downloaded the OTA update for lollipop on to the phone, but now I am stuck. when I run the update it boots back in to TWARP and all I can do is reboot back to 4.4.3.
I am trying to stop the update from happening, as now every time I press the power button I get the ready to update notice which is what I want to stop.

here is your options
1 ruu (as you have S Off so you can flash any old version ruu then update )
2 stock reset rom (find any available for your software version it will make software to vary stock original)
3 nandroid backup (restore it flash stock recovery update )
4 manually files restore
Lengthy process when you apply ota recovery shows error which file is missing or modified you have to grab those files from other phone and restore via TWRP recovery or root explorer manually but again stock recovery shows error one by one means you restored a file recovery shows error for next file till all system scanned
And you have to reboot or flashing recovery many times
so its better to have find nandroid backup any version apply that flash same version firmware than

VIE-L09 (C432) problem flashing again Stock Firmware B370

Hi all,
after resetting with TWRP my (perfect working) P9 Plus Rooted with VIE-L09C432B370, got new system without keyboard... I have only google voice assistant as keyboard (I read somewhere that my reset was too strong :-/ )
I tried to reinstall the Stock Firmware placing the VIE-L09C432B370 Full OTA MF file: UPDATE.APP into "dload" folder of sd card and powering ON with <Vol-Up> <Vol-Down> <Power> pressed but I got the big exclamation mark with the message "Software install failed"
I do not know how to reinstall the full stock Huawei firmware in another way; Android Version is not important... B370 (Android 7.0) is enought and root/twrp are not so necessary (but appreciated)... the important is having back my P9 Plus working.
The TWRP installed is the 3.1.1-1 and the "Fastboot & Rescue Mode" is working with the messages "PHONE Unlocked" "FRP Unlock"
Can someone help me to flash a working stock firmware?
Thanks in advance
(and sorry for my english)

Solved!
with the special help of a very kind person.
The only way to flash the full update.zip was flashing the HuRUpdater as indicated into the thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279
After flashing (the TWRP was replaced by the stock recovery), it was necessary entering in stock recovery and wipe both "data/factory" and "cache partition"
The system went up, un rooted and clean...
BootLoader remain unlocked
