I am not know if this will help, but if you r using windows8 then I recommend you to use Windows 7.
I had a problem with my xs, every time I connect it to my win 8 pc, I got a message that my device is malfunction.
Or
Try removing all drivers and then install them again using driver provided with the flash tool.

If you need to install the fastboot drivers try this
First download the latest fastboot drivers from http://www.multiupload.com/BMJ24IL6XY then right click s1 fastboot then click update drivers. After that click browse manually and select the folder where you kept your newly downloaded files and click ok. It will then install the latest drivers
If you can't get into Fastboot mode try this
Turn your phone off and hold the volume up button but DO NOT hold the power button. Then connect the usb cable whilst still holding the up button. Then the led should turn blue.
Also Windows 7 will have less issues with driver installation
Press thanks if I helped.

After installing this mod, my Arc slowed down quite a bit and the custom XPERIA S launcher by Flamemo got broken reverting back to stock Arc lock screen and clock. A quick reinstall of XPERIA S launcher solved the problem though. What might have happened there?
UPDATE: I had to restore my back up as pressing the Off button continuously did some sort of quick reboot rather than bringing up the power menu. Some sort of incompatibility with the theme I guess. Using Arconium 7.2

If u get error, may be it's because of your modded themes.

Hmm... Try these steps and see... 1. Unplug the tablet. 2. Turn off the tablet. 3. Reboot computer. 4. After full reboot Plug tablet in. 5. Put tablet in downloading mode. 6. Install drivers (make sure they are the correct drivers for Odin!!!) Which can be found here... http://uploading.com/files/a683d2d8/Samsung_P1000_USB_Drivers.rar/ 7. After installation complete, and you have given Windows time to detect and install the drivers, open Odin. If that doesn't work, then try Heimdall. (give windows some time to install the drivers even after the installation program completes)

Android Bootloader interface (fix)

I don't know if any else is experiencing this, but when I'm in boot loader mode and I plug my device into windows it gives me a error (device cannot start code 10). When this happens I cannot use fast boot at all it will be stuck there waiting for device. So I have a temporary fix:
1.go to device manager while in boot loader
2. Right click on your device in device manager
3. Click uninstall driver.
4. Remove your device from the computers USB.
5.plug it back in and before it automatically installs the drivers go to device manager and right click on Android under your device name and click scan for hardware changes. Now it recognizes my device in the boot loader interface.
I wanted to post this in case anyone else is experiencing this problem.
Never happened to me, but a nice find anyway!

You mean the Google USB drivers, then yeah I have it too, but when I check
It says device cannot start code 19, so that temporarily fixes it until you unplug the device and put it back.

[Q] HTC One bootloop

I was trying to flash CWM recovery onto my HTC One using Hasoon2000's toolkit, but I did a mistake and now my phone keeps restarting a second after it boots. I've tried to erase the cache but because the phone reboots so quickly the phone cannot be detected. I know I made a silly mistake and I'm freaking out right now but I really need urgent help now.
Thanks in advance :good:

I could spend a while talking you through it but the best advice I can give you is to forget about the toolkit and read this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2325853
This will push a rom to your phone then just flash it through recovery. It's better to learn using ADB than the toolkit.

Can you still boot into your phone? If you can, just put a rom.zip on your phone and flash it through recovery that way.

I have heard fastboot will work if you have hboot 1.55
Could you link me to hboot 1.55? I can't find it through searching and wouldn't I need fastboot to even push the update, essentially making it damn near impossible to do in my situation? :/

Yeah you would need fastboot working to lock your bootloader.
Borrow another PC or can't you downgrade to Win 8?
Didn't know you had to relock for a hboot update, thought that was just for RUU. Anyways, I could use my desktop tomorrow that runs Win8 (NOT 8.1) x64 that also has USB 3.0 (difference is my desktop uses Intel whereas my laptop uses AMD). Would that work?

You should be ok the only problem you may have is the USB 3 ports
If you are S-ON you have to re-lock to flash the firmware
I'm S-OFF. I'll give it a try and will see if it works after this damn Java final >.>
