[Q] Back to 2.2.1 Stock, please help me!

Hello everyone! I Hope someone can help me. I need to send my phone to service because the 3.5 mm plug is broken.
I need to get it back to stock. I have used a custom rom from romkitchen, and now i have no idea of what i've done. Sorry, but i am a noob and my english sucks!
I downloaded/tried XWJS3, XWJS5 from here and i used Odin to do it:

When this was finished, a white ring came up on top of the screen, and i cant get any signal. Now i dont know what to do!
Can someone please help me here? Now my phone says:
FW version: 2.2.1
Baseband v: I9000XXJPY

no signal ,,ur imei is changed thts y ur phone is not getting registerd with ur operator.so its like a big prblm cause i too faced this prblm screwd my imei and product code and dint kno what happnd,but i had a backup of efs ...do u hav a backup of efs.....else u need to send it to samsung center....

no my imei has not changed. just checked the box and imei info on the phone... ? it is the same!

flash it with pit 512 stock rom and see if it works...always hav a efs folder backup if ur rooted.

what is efs?

its a folder were ur pcode,imei and important details of ur phone is stored.there r lot of topics here on tht so alwayz read some b4 u flash ,,check ur product code too,,do a factory reset and flash fresh stock rom..

The white circle is still there! Is there any way to fix this? By rooting it again or something? Please help!

If you want to go back to a stock rom (without root i suppose) you will need to update your device with kies. But because you don't have a kies installed ROM, you won't be able to update with kies.
You will have to spoof the ROM version. Try following this post:

[Q] How to recover IMEI when no backup was done

Hi there,
I have a galaxy S I9000. The IMEI i have on my phone when i press *#06# is 004999010640000.
I have NO backup of the EFS folder. Sure.
However, I know the IMEI has it is written on the back on the phone.
How can i restore that?
i have to say that i tried downgrading using ODIN... phone is ok in download mode... I did a lot of research but no luck so far.

Hello to recover your IMEI you have to flash a stock 2.3.6 ROM and then backup your EFS folder.
After installing new version, if the problem is persist then restor simply your EFS folder.

Thanks for your answer. With all due respect, I dont think it is a correct solution as I tried it and it did not work.
However, maybe before reinstalling the Stock 2.3.6 i should have tottaly delete the EFS folder (the one with the wrong IMEI). Then the Stock "could" recreate the EFS with the correct IMEI on the phone... (thats only what I did read in another forum - But I have not tested).
Luckily I found my previous EFS backed up. (I thought i never did it, but i did 2 years ago ehheh).
Subject closed, even if there is no real bullet proff solution for that.

[Q] Lost IMEI after Root to Stock

hello everyone !!
I have root my device and after some days base band gone .. it shows unknown suddenly .. than i have used Nv flash and installed a new Stock ROM after that it worked but at the same day again was having problem with my baseband and this time i have used new tool smartflash tool after so many hours ( Errors ) it installed but again no base band ... than i have tried one more time and downgrade to 2.2.2 my IMEI was restored again but after 20 days same problem lost my IMEI again suddenly . and i have repeat the same smartflash process its totally working without errors but Rom installed correctly and base band also .. but i dont know still dont have IMEI please help !! how do i restore my IMEI back !!

me and my partner have the same phone from the same carrier,, I had the imei unknown issue for a while and I decided to backup my partners efs with efs pro and restore it to my phone,, now I have no 4g and it will stay on GPRS and EDGE for like a minute then stop working
,, is there any way to fix this,, I have tried nearly everything and I cant afford to send it in to get fixed

EFS are not interchangeable.
Restore your backed up EFS folder .
Try once flashing stock firmware .
Fails its a paid for service repair .
Use descriptive titles if you want them read .

GT-9305t NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK/CORRECT IMEI

HELLO EVERYONE.
i have a samsung i9305T i flashed it wth L.P rom then suddenly
my imei went 0049. i tried anything bUt no luck. so i decided to flash a stock one
4.1.2 my imei was back. But when i try to insert my network sim it says.
NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK . tho ived used this phone before here in the philippines
so im sure it is unlocked.
any help guys.? thank you in advance does my baseband caused the issue?

I'm not an expert at all but i have a theory :
I think you get a corrupted EFS. You flashed L.P rom so the format of your EFS changed to V2. So when you tried to return to 4.1.2, the phone can't read your efs anymore.
I think the solution is to flash a newer baseband, for example the L.P baseband or a KK baseband.
