I will try this mod reducing the status bar height as well (to go together with my already done navigation bar mod).
I wonder what's the minimum value we can put to still have a reasonable view of the status bar.
Default is 25dip, can I use as low as 18dip, 15dip without messing the status bar icons?
I'd only like to have an idea of a good starting point for the height value so I can immediately proceed when I get home.

Hi guys, is there any way to change the clock colour on the status bar?
I am using StatusBar+ to completely customize my status bar. It had some issues when I first started using it, but the dev has released multiple updates over the past week and it is working great for me now. It has a way to hide all but the clock until you tap the bar, so it has the ability to save our precious OLED pixels from burn-in as well.
Great app and get's two thumbs up from me.

True, but that is why it works on a completely stock note.
Plus if you root you can suppress the system status bar, thus making it a replacement as opposed to an overlay.

Specifially I'm looking to shrink the status bar size on Oreo to zero height. I do this using GravityBox to make the Nav bar disappear altogether. Is there anything similar available for the Statusbar on Oreo?
PROBLEM:
During settings => status bar=>show system icons=> I have deactivated everything beside bluetooth+Wifi+mobile data+battery+ watch.
here is the problem since I have chosen to show clock with seconds it wont fit the screens with everything else. Clocks position is right+ shows seconds.
I wanna see wifi+mobile data battery and clock. now here is the kicker , as soon as i activate data saver the wifi icon on status bar vanishes.(attached file missing)
It is like it wont fit the status bar. I have SGS4 with no problem with the same settings.
QUESTION:
is there a way to "fit" icons on status bar without Data saver using that space up? (is there a way to enhance the status bar icons?Like add more?)

Is there any way to increase status bar height to 36px? Super status bar creates it's own status bar and let's you set height but without transparent backgrounds I don't want to use it.
