Is it possible to make a swap partition on our lg optimus 2x?
No one answered me that but i suppose you need kernel support. Also no one told me but i think that cm has that support so you can do it...
And for new BL?

at a simple search on google I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2100058 so yes it is possible....just a few commands in terminal...have fun
Also it is supported by all custom kernels as far as I know....I tried it few months later and it worked like a charm. The only thing is that I don't know how much it will help you, it depends on what are you going to do with your device
Is it possible to make custom roms to lg o2x out of lg optimus black rom. Many will ask why , the reason is Arabic language is fully supported in lg optimus black and its not in o2x. I am talking about official roms not cm7 .

is there anyone here using Optimus bright L-07C?
Isn't Optimus Bright L-07C virtually the same as P970 except that it is shipped with Android 2.3 by default?

The firmware for optimus bright l-07c cannot installed on optimus black. The firmware are developed by docomo & lg. It is intend to use in japanese market. The l-07c also have many features, such as digital tv, where black do not have.

Even you have the serial number, you would not able to obtain firmware through lg's usual channel. The firmware is distribute by docomo instead of lg. In japan, the update for l-07c mainly over the air.

Hi,
Just bought LG Optimus 2X from WindMobile (LG-p999) for my wife.
Please suggest me a WIFE safe custom rom and kernel.
I just want to install the rom once and for all and then forget it.everything should work.
Also what else I need to take care of while doing this...( I am a vibrant user so never flashed anything on LG).
Thank you
you should look in T mobile G2x P999 device , this is only for P990 O2x
Y dun u stay stock then.
My wife complained after I install cyanogen for her but I m using it with no issue. Same phone for both of us, LG p990.
I revert back to stock for her

Hey i've made some Videos of the O2X. When you're interested you can click the link down below. All Videos are in German.
I think is a good idea, the down side though, is that the language used is not English which is known by most people around the world, but other than that, very good
I wish there was a video on how to do a new partition and install the ICS... I am stuck with GB partition, don't want to take a chance in breaking my device. I confess i love my Optimus 2x. :cyclops:

I bricked my phone when I tried the update but I recovered it very easy with a NvFlash Toolkit in the Dev section, very easy, now I'm on DjangoManouche X 1.0 (ics)
