Hi all. I recently got this phone in my hands. It`s second-hand, so it will be hard to find out what`s wrong not taking it to a service-center or smth. But i`ll try anyway.
So here`s the deal: It get`s signal, working fine for a while, but then suddenly it shows no service or emergency only. It happens randomly, get`s signal and loses it. Tried different rom`s but the problem still remains. I have assumed it is a hardware issue, so i`m interested in what should be replaced or could it be the logic board damaged?

I had same pproblem with v20o in canada and had to flash back to stock with cwm.what's your provider? and country? Seems to be a prob with region and not hardware
I'm on Bite. Country Latvia. What rom should i install? And is it the same as custom rom through CWM?

Go to thread root v20j thread page 3 I posted and in first link download firmware for your country and follow rest instructions on How to root it there
ok, i`ll give it a try. Hope it works

Maybe if you want to do the last thing that can help you hear this.
Someone with a problem like you checked Erase Entire CP in SmartFlash while flashed stock v20 rom. After that he writed the IMEI on the phone manually.
This was his fix. Hope you understand.

What scamex said should work, that's what I did because I saw also in the lockscreen by LG (only in the stock rom because I though it was because of the custom rom) LG Security Error or something like that.

How can i do that if the "Erase entire CP" checkbox is greyed?
Windows enabler is on, btw. And aint such choice as "CP USB" in secret menu.
Use windows enabler. ^^

It is on, but still "Erase entire CP" checkbox is greyed and i can't check it!
Strange, since Windows Enabler must allow you to check it. :S

on my comp the box is greyed when you start smartflash with enabler but when i click it.. it becomes checkable

you mean - first open smartflash and only then windows enabler?
Run enabler as admin click on it by windows time to turn it on.then start smartflash. Box is greyed but if you click it,it becomes clickable
And you also need to click on the Windows Enabler button, that comes up, till you can read ON!!! not just open it Maybe that s your fault

still not working. Will try another PC tomorrow.
So, i managed to erase cp. Other problem now. I don't have the CP usb thing in hidden menu, so i could rewrite imei, cuz theere is still no service.
in hidden menu i see Port setting -> *Diag Setting, *USB Switching, *Data Setting.
I assume, the one i need is USB switching, but i can press it all day long and i still don't see my device in hyperterminal. Please help me!
Can please somone tell me how to connect to hyperterminal? My device's port shows up only if my phone is in S/W Upgrade screen, but i can't type anything in hyperterminal. What should i do?

I used a pattern lock on my HTC One which I forgot.
Now the problem is that its asking for my google account information. I can give it but both my wifi and mobile data are off.
Can you tell me how to turn it on so that I can enter my Google account information? or any way I can open my phone? Without resorting to Factory Reset?

You don't need Internet to activate it through your Google account, can be done offline

You could try this method, dont know if your computer will let you upload files while your phone is locked thou.

The time its taken to post and wait for responses you could have factory reset and been up and running again.
I have important data. Factory reset will remove all my data
I have a feeling you're going to have to do it
Have you tried a hard reset? Or possibly activating and deactivating airlplane mode in power menu?

Maybe removing your SIM card and putting a different one in might reset the SIM properties and activate the connection?

Do you have adb installed on your computer?
Have you checked this guide, maybe it works for you?

I did try that. I have adb installed and unknown sources enabled but it won't detect my phone. Probably the drivers arent installed.
And they aren't installing either! :\
Anyway, Did a hard reset now.
Pity.

It's annoying when you lose data, I know about that first hand but sadly there's times where there doesn't seem to be a choice ... Still, look on the bright side, at least you aren't bricked lol

I did try and go to the recovery mode. then I got scared.
Then went back and factory reset'ed it

And if I could pull down my notification shade, I would've turned on wifi from there only

my desire C is pricked i was using facebook when it ran out of battary so i put it on charge and went for like 10 minutes came back the battery icon was not there thought my charger is broken so went to work put on the other charger nothing i tried to fix the hardwere nothing is wrong with them .. i connect it to the pc u can hear the connection sound but shows as unrecognized device tried to go to recovery mode didnt work im super lost and super pissed please can anyone help i repeat its not a hardwere thing ..

His device is giving black screen and hard keys and soft keys are not responding when battery removed gives same symptoms no life when connected to a pc it reads it but not recodnize it please be kind and post a soloution here

There might be something wrong with the phone as it is not rooted.. If you still have warranty why not take it to the center..?
Have you tried hboot. If that works flash a custom Rom

He said his display is gone. He cannot even get get to recovery mode. So flashing a rom is not possible. His computer is not recognising the phone so something is definitely wrong.. And it's not his fault as it is not rooted. These things just happen..

Which version? Tried airplane mode on/off or WiFi on/off cycle? Did you do a full wipe before installing? Did you read the rom's thread to see if anyone else had similar issue, or for that matter did you read EVERY word of the Rom instructions (& follow to a T)?
dear Devs really needs yours best help i am in a big trouble
today just now i have flash an other model zip file through twrp in my moto g2
flashing was successfully but unfortunately i don't know what happen the phone gone through complete blank screen
i have tried almost 10 times to go through recovery but every time no response the phone not even going through power on by power buttn
also not a single response for the power bottom tried every key combination for few mins too still no response complete blank screen
no response while doing charging too
i think its had hard brick but i am afraid of changing motherboard which is too expensive
one think that happen good is when i have connect to pc something QHSUB_BULK was detecting on my pc i dont what was that
completely confused what to do
plssssss really i am in big trouble need help

Download the drivers and to boot on bootloader option and flash stock images, the this is the only best solution for this and do read n carefully flash any thing to avoid any mishaps...
What's so special u got on other model ROM? We have all top most ROMs presently for our Device n all r running perfectly... Search on xda general section and you will get the link for drivers and latest stock images... Good luck n a advise also that do not try this ever ever again.... Feel free to Contact me if you need any further help...

Drivers are successfully installed but how can i boot into bootloader options since hardware keys are also not giving any response

does not work on lollipop bootloader devs have not yet not found for lollipop firmware
no solution for it yet
