Try visiting the store. I couldn't get the deal online. At the store, they didn't know it was going to be half off until checkout.

Bought mine about a half hour ago on the Verizon Website (at sale price).
It showed full price until I went to checkout, then gave me the sale price...
Definitely just picked on of these up. Thanks for the heads up! Discount was applied once my item was in the cart at checkout. Great buy!!

Try logging out of your Verizon account. If you have a corporate discount already, for some odd reason, that overrides VZW's generic discount.

I still don't see anything past a 25% discount. Very strange. I have tried 2 computers, clearing cookies, logging in and out and I still don't see it. Maybe they do it by area? I am in Philadelphia. I'm going to try the store tomorrow.
yeah i did not know about this deal, until i went to my buddies verizon store he is a manager and told me it was %50 off he also lets me use his discount on other items. which i did not know he did
but this battery is **HUGE** its 2 of the nomal size batteries put togather, we'll thats what i think anyways. i got to buy a whole new case.
but the overall the battery is worth it. it last alot longer. my nomal battery maybe lasted me 6 hours. now i get between 12-16 hours or more. depending on my usage.

Log completely out of your account and search for the item through google. Check for "Verizon DROID bionic extended battery".
Once you find it the proper listing in google (verizonwireless site) go to it and try to buy it. Keep going all the way through until checkout. Then only login when it asks you.
That worked when I ordered some accessories for my x2.

just ordered a second one just now for 24.99 off the website. it didnt give me my discount till checkout. i paid 49.99 for my first one but that was on the day the bionic came out.
They have stock in the Sprint Store. I called yesterday playing dumb to see if I could get a store to sell early. I was told it would be released today. So I take my happy little but over to the Sprint Store as soon as it opens this morning. Lady at the counter tells me yes they have some in stock and yes I can purchase one. She goes back and grabs a box and brings it up to begin the purchase process.
Then a manager stops her. He informs her that they cannot sell them yet and he sends me on my sad little heartbroken way.

I was just so close and then shot down. Its like going to the Sprint Store to pick up a phone, thinking youre going to get it and then you're shot down. Theres no other way to complete the analogy because that is literally one of the worse things to possibly happen.

Do what I did and buy a black one. Since they're delayed for some unspecified amount of time, I only refresh 4-6 times a day.

When I was in support and receiving lot of random stuff for folks I found a Windows desktop widget (of all things) that worked really well. You just put in the tracking info and it would show the latest real time info in the widget and you could even click on each delivery and see a map of where the last update had come in and when on the map.
Alas, I ordered from HTC and still have no tracking info.
UPS just left.. no phone! :crying:
Just checked mine and it show's 2nd day air as well, with a scheduled delivery of Monday, 4/22.... WTF. Guess we'll see

From my experiences it's always cheaper at a Sprint Corporate store. Example:I live next to a "sprint" marked store and I was buying a note II and they wanted $799 for it.. I then found my closest sprint corporate location and bought the phone from them for $600..

I was just wondering if anyone had actually swapped out the One before the 14-day trial period had ended for another phone on Sprint, and weather there was any kind of upcharge. Do you still pay the 2year contract price for another phone? Just wondering. Thanks in advance guys.

Swaps are straight up, if there is a price difference you pay it. I just did this because my LTE broke and I upgraded [not quite] to the LG OG. Then in like 8 days and the One came out and I simply went back to the origin of purchase and exchanged it, it was $50 more, so I covered that.

I swapped my first HTC One because of the back/home button issue. I tried the Galaxy S4 for a day and returned it. I liked the HTC One better so got another HTC One and now no 4G LTE. As long us your under the 14 days you can return or swap the phone.

If its a legitimate issue, there shouldn't be a charge.. I took mine in the day i got it, because of the slightest gap on the top.
We opened another one, it was much worse. We opened a second one, and the top looked good, but the bottom was jacked up. So I'm just living with the slight gap, I'm the only person that would notice it anyways..
But we opened two others, and i ended up just taking back the one i had from the git go. They weren't going to ask for any money, and didnt when we unboxed two others.
The reason you like Samsung is because you had one before. I had a HTC before and I think people become loyal to a brand that they had good experience with before. I loved my EVO until it broke after three years. I had to go with HTC when I saw the One. If HTC didn't have the One I probably would go with Samsung S4.
Went into our local Best Buy on Saturday, and was surprised to see a large Samsung area carved out in the front of the store. Nice, clean white display and tables. It was the same size as that stores entire Mobile Phone dept, so pretty good sized. They had all the latest and greatest, of course, and very knowledgeable folks working there. They said they were there full time now. Pretty cool to see. My first hands on with a Gear. I can see it's utility, but doubt I'll get one.
Anyone else have one in their BB stores?

For about a year. My store also has a Google rep for the Google section. A Windows store with Microsoft employees and of course the Apple section. With more to come next year.

Went to Monroe, NY store. They have the Samsung area as well. Pretty nice. Had the Samsung watch in various colors but all dummy. None were real watches.

The lady working the Samsung area at our BB also offered to update/check my S4. I refused since I'm rooted and it was a bit of a battle to get 4.3 installed and solid on my phone.
Mine was rooted also but at the same time I was so excited about the update that I jumped to gun. I tried to find if I needed to take any steps before receiving the update but couldn't find any information. Long story short it took with no problem root was gone but I just rerooted and it was good. The update actually fixed my battery life tremendously. Took 15 min via usb.

We have a Samsung at all the Best Buys here in Wichita, KS. They are really the only reason I ended up going with the S4.

Almost every Best Buy should have a Samsung Experience Store inside now, with the exception of a very few. The only stores I am aware of without them are the small format stores. Even the Best Buy Mobile stores have a small Samsung vignette now.
dont go to best buy mobile they spent almost 45 minutes trying to get my note 2 to work with the store demo galaxy gear, i guess they hire any ole body at those stores

Seems weird that you would let them try and pair a non compatible device for that long. Assuming you weren't rooted and using a compatibility work around.

Well.. i didn't pre-order my S4 from AT&T because they was already sold out. But the corporate store near me had 10+ in stock on launch day.. No crazy line like the iPhone releases, it was a popular city also. Not a hick town somewhere.
Your best bet is to call your local store Thursday or Friday to see if they will have any coming in.

Dude, WTF???!!! Where in Alaska? The store I went to in South Anchorage the guy said they would have plenty in stock. He did sound like an IBoy though, cause he was acting like the S5 was nothing compared to an Iphone 3G. I almost slapped him.
