[Q] speaker/audio problem - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I have an issu with my Xperia Z. Especially, for the notifications, when I receive a notification (email, whatsapp, viber etc...) there is a noise on the background still audible, when the notification audio finishes. Something like, when you higher the volume of your music player without any audio. I can define it like there is a headset/speaker connected but there is no audio.
For every notification I receive, I have the same problem (apprx for 1 second with decreasing noise and disapperaing)
Does anyone has same problem any any idea?
I didn't root my phone and turning Clear Phase and xLoud to OFF didn't help me...
Thank u...

Does this happen when phone is in idle state? Have you tried changing the notification sounds? Does phone play music/ ringtone?
Swraj

It doesn't matter if the phone is in Idle or I'm using it. You can only realize that sound when the environment is really silent (maybe night). And olso it is independent of the notification sound...

[Q] Notification sounds while listening music over bluetooth headphones

Hello guys,
I noticed today while at work that when I get emails, messages, text, etc the phone only plays the notification sounds on on my headphones and not in the phone itself. I already missed a few notification because of this because the notifications sometimes blend in with the music and playing. In my EVO 3D the notification sound played on both bluetooth and phone at the same time and also the music sound will stop to play the notification sounds in the bluetooth headphones. I checked the setting but I didn't found anything to fix this Anyone else has this problem or a solution?

SMS notification sound really annoying can't turn off.

You know that noise that you hear when you receive a text message with the phone on vibrate / silent / do not disturb?
It really does my head in when I'm watching a video or movie via youtube or media player. It's so loud even at a lower volume it's probably the most disturbing notification sound even when receiving a phone call too.
I hope you guys know what I mean but I can't seem to be able to turn it off.
I got a Huawei P9.

Weird sound issues

Hey guys,
I am having weird sound issues with my new P10.
When setting ringer volume to certain level, it seems to only work with the ringer when somebody calls.
It does not have an influence on WhatsApp, Gmail, text messages etc. These do sound a LOT louder.
So, I can control call ringer just fine, but basically cannot control the volume for app notifications. I also tried to lower the volume for alarm, media etc, but these apps seem to be connected with the ringer volume slider (which is of course what one would expect) but they are much louder that the call ringer.
This is my first Huawei phone so I was hoping to find some setting for this, but no luck. This is really annoying. If I do not want Gmail notifications etc to be loud, I need to lower the ringer volume to minimum, but then I have issues to hear when someone calls
Any idea what is going on?

P10 Plus
The P10 Plus has a same issue.
Yep, it looks like notifications sounds are not only too loud but also still present when sound is "muted"
as a temporary workaround I reduced the volume of the notifications by editing the notification files on my pc. but I am really hoping that Huawei is going to fix this soon.
sound settings do not affect videocalling with facebook messenger on my P10.

Stop Spotify sound decreasing on notifications

I usually keep my phone on silent. Even so, when I get a WhatsApp message notification for example, the volume from Spotify temporarily decreases. This is quite annoying, and it's why I have the phone on silent in the first place.
Is this normal? I haven't tested it with other apps yet.
Thank you!
I have the same issue. Did you solve it or does anyone know how to do so?

Call ringtone lower than music and notification

hey guys just got my xperia 1 ii not long ago, everything went well except that after updating to android 11,
my incoming call ringtone has reduced significantly. I thought my speaker got problem but the thing is , media, alarm and even message notification sound remain loud but my incoming call ringtone has becoming alot softer so it should not be speaker problem right?
i tried downloading a 3rd party app for ringtone, the ringtones when played on the app itself were loud but once i set one of them as my phone call ringtone, the volume reduced!
i suspect is software problem but cant find a setting that would fix it. Maybe a certain app that i installed caused it but i have no idea which. Any ideas what could it be? factory reset would be my last solution but i hope it can be fixed without a reset since i have set everything nicely on the phone.
Hi try this app, This might work for you.
It will increase ringtone volume to 100% before receiving normal call.
P.S tested on galaxy devices.
