Hi guys,
Just some background.
I bought my Xperia Z on . It was all good. I did not root or meddle with anything. It is pure stock.
Then suddenly, today while browsing using chrome, it just hangs and goes black.
I rebooted it but then once it get to the lock screen, it will hang again and reboot itself again. This goes on and on.
I then did a hardware reset. Hold Power and Vol Up for more than 15 seconds. The device vibrated 3 times. I booted it up again and the reboot cycle continues. Whenever it gets to the lockscreen, it will hang and reboot itself again.
Any one else having this problem?

My Xperia won't boot since yesterday, i'm stuck on the screen with the triangle with a wrench and a screwdriver. I saw some threads where they said you should wait, but it's been like this for the last 15 hours or something. I have tried searching for a solution but couldn't find a solution. The phone has the latest stock Jelly Bean firmware and is not rooted, any ideas how to fix this?
Edit: Sorry wrong section
Re: [Q] Xperia T won't boot
Try to turn it off. And flash FW via flashtool.

I don't really like that i first have to unlock the bootloader to do that. I have this phone only a few weeks so i can just get a new one from my carrier but that takes a lot of time. Is it possible to repair it with the Sony PC companion or ADB?
Re: [Q] Xperia T won't boot
Just plug it in and leave it, it's repairing itself.
If you keep turning it on or off it starts again.
As an aside you don't need to unlock to use flashtool.
If you can't wait then download and flash the same version with flashtool or use a pccompanion, repair option. If you won't wait you need to format data

The 15 hours i described was without turning it off and on, can it really take that long?
Re: [Q] Xperia T won't boot
Hold vol up and power until you feel the three vibrations, run pccompanion without the phone connected, choose the software repair option, connect phone when instructed, do not power up the phone before or you'll be straight back to the tools screen.

Thanks alot, that fixed it, getting my data back is easier than waiting for someone from Sony to repair my phone.
Hi guys, this is my first time posting here in xda,
I have a problem with my xperia T, it boot loops (starts up by showing the manufacturer logo, then shuts down, then starts up again)
and i didnt unlock my bootloader, and i didnt install CWM, no backups either
I only rooted the phone for the sake of chainfire, and when i installed it, it asked me to restart the phone and from there on the problem started.
I tried fastboot mode, but after 3-4 secs, the blue light disappears and the phone starts boot looping again,
I need help from you guys,
thanks y'all in advance

How do i do that? Sorry, im a newbie..
I think the pc companion cannot restore my phone since it cant recognize it. It starts up, then it shuts down after 3-4 secs
Also i dont see a back up and restore menu on my pc companion,

I would think that it would be the battery? give it a 10 minute charge and see if it starts
you do not need to turn your phone on for pccomapnaion to work.
Run pccompanion and run the software update and choose repair.
Only connect the phone when it prompts you

Hello,
my xperia Z doesn't want to start. It shows SONY and XPERIA text, then first animation is playing (these multicolor straps) then this animation comes for second time and freezes. Straps don't disappear completely from the screen and the phone restarts itself. Same happens when the phone is plugged to the wall or connected to pc.
Thanks for any advices.
Reflash your backup or the ROM, the only option when bootlooping.
From me to you.
Or, if no backup, use flashtool to restore a stock ROM.
Do you have CWM/TWRP recovery? If so you can try factory reset.

thanks for quick response,
unfortunately these terms you are using don't mean anything to me.
And I have no back up and do not have CWM/TWRP.
So as I understand I will have to connect it to the computer and run program called: Flashtool 0.9.11.0, right?

Hi. My xperia z froze at a game's loading screen and was stuck until I hardreseted it by holding power + vol up. After that, the boot time became extremely long. When the phone finally started I were about to connect to my WiFi, but the WiFi won't turn on! It just says activating, and stays like that. The same thing with bluetooth! Everything else seems to work, but the boot time is still really slow. I've been thinking about flashing CM10.1, if I will need to do a clean restore to fix my wifi, should I flash CM10.1 instead for stock rom?

Do a internal wipe (factory reset) under settings/back up and restore follow by a repair through pcc or sus. If it doesn't work it could be your router.

Turn it off, remove the back cover and press the OFF button until the phone shuts down. Repair it with Flashtoo, Update Service or PC Companion. DO NOT LET THE PHONE COMPLETELY DISCHARGE.
Use rebootfix.
Next time search forum.

You've bootlooped your device. You have to flash doomlord's kernel and boot into recovery and flash system gapps and flash new twrp and your phone will be in working condition
