[MOD] Simplistic HTC Flip Clock Widget

For Sense 2.1 only
So i thought i'd share my mod on HTC's flip clock. I removed the widget's background thanks to Biffa's help, but i also removed the weather icon to create a more simplistic and minimal effect on my homescreen. It should be noted, the weather icon is not visible, but it's still clickable so you can still click that general area and bring up the weather forecast.

Instructions to install for HTC default skin:
-Remove any HTC clock widgets you currently have on homescreens (to be safe)
-Reboot to Recovery
-In Clockwork Recovery go to "Mounts and Storage", click "Mount /System"
-Go back and flash as usual
Update
Added apks to allow this mod to work with Krzysiec's PureBlack theme and PureBlack Expresso theme.
Instructions to install for PureBlack and Expresso:
-Install Transparent_NoWeather_HtcClock.zip as described above.
-Download either PureBlackSkin.zip or ExpressoSkin.zip below and place on SD.
-Uninstall your PureBlack or Expresso theme if you already have it installed from Manage Applications and change to another theme (like default HTC).
-Reboot to CWM, go into "Mounts and Storage" and mount /System.
-Go back and flash the apk as usual.
-Boot up and choose the theme.
Note: Ignore the text that comes up during flashing, that's from my keyboard mod script. Couldn't be bothered to change it

Just noted that links to your keyboard & clock mods don't work in the signature.
Edit: If Lee brings out Sense 3, do you think you could do another please?

Of course i would make a Sense 3 version, or at least try because the clock widgets are pretty different from Sense 2.1 and Sense 3.0

Its nice this mate, but the transparent one with the weather icon you posted on the leedroid thread, the screen-of doesn't work. Do you know of a fix or anything?

Did you try Mount /System before flashing it? It worked for me before, but i didn't flash it, i pushed the apk through adb.

Oh I forgot about mounting the system, I'll try that and let you know

LDPI Timescape Fully Working! Includes Plugins!

LDPI Timescape Fully Working!
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any damage to your phone. You will do this on your own risk!
This Timescape is for LDPI phones, may not look good on higher resolution phones.
Tested on Galaxy Mini running CM7. I'm not sure about stock ROM, or any other ROM, other than CM7, You can try (have a Nandroid Backup), if its not working on your ROM, you can revert back using Nandroid Backup.
Follow these steps:
1) Do a Nandroid Backup
2) Read the Instructions file, and follow the instructions to the point. You must edit your build.prop first.
3) Flash LDPI Timescape.zip from ClockworkMod Recovery
4) You have Timescape. Extract Timescape Plugins.rar and install the Plugins (apk files) to improve your Timescape experience.
Caution: Timescape was designed for phones with high processor speeds. This may cause some lag, when all extensions are used.

Yes, all the fonts are very clear to read. Just try it. You can also search for 'Sonyericsson Font' and install that font using 'Fontchanger', it will give more clear font.
If font is large, try decreasing the font size using 'Spare Parts'.

Yes It includes Sonyericsson Home (also optimized for LDPI). Timescape widget only works with Sonyericsson Home.

Twitter and Facebook Plugins are already included in the file LDPI Timescape.zip
Did you read Instructions.txt It is important that you read it. You to edit your build.prop first, then Reboot and then flash LDPI timescape.

Hi I tried to edit the build.prop
From
ro.product.manufacturer= samsung
To
ro.product.manufacturer= Sony Ericsson
Add a new line
ro.semc.timescape_keys=Sony_Ericsson_Xperia and saved the file
but after doing this, once i go back and check to double check i don't see these lines in build.prop. it just displays this " ro.product.manufacturer= samsung " .
I use stockrom 2.3.6 Pls help....

No I did not steal from him.
His was not optimized for LDPI when I installed his ROM.
After removing his ROM and installing Mebitek's CM7 ROM, I checked Google for " LDPI TIMESCAPE" and then I got one zip file from some file sharing site ( don't remember, coz it was long time ago) but that zip file when I flashed in Mebitek's ROM, had some bugs.
So I checked files in zip files of both Timescapes and then I EDITED my downloaded zip, and I uploaded the modified zip here.
Yes screenshots are from his ROM page. Because I didn't want to take screenshots and then put in my PC and then upload.

Download and install System Tuner Pro, (free version maybe available), and then open it.
Then go to System Apps and uninstall every apk which was in the zip file which you downloaded from here.

Can I install this into peter's rom final ? Because peter's rom has the feature busybox Can i or will the system crushed?

Make a NANDROID backup in CWM before flashing this, and see for yourself. Newer bad to have a NANDROID backup.

[MOD][CM10] LG UI3.0 launcher, weather widget and some useful things (TESTED/WORKING)

Hy guys.
Today I'm gonna give you a one port of LG UI 3.0 which is found on all ICS based LG phones.
Launcher, themes for launcher, weather app, weather widgets and some official wallpapers
How to Install
1) Reboot to CWM/TWRP
2) Make backup just in case that you don't like launcher to revert on your previous launcher
3) No wipe anything
4) install provided zip
5) set LG launcher as default
6) enjoy

For uninstallation just choose Trebuchet as main launcher. With this I mean that you need to go to Settings - > Apps -> find touchwiz somewhere and choose clear defaults. After you do that choose Trebuchet as primary launcher and delete this files which is listed below

It works on MDPI. I could port Weather app to MDPI whean I get some free time.
I use this on Blade 3 Cm10 and on Mini 2 CM10. I should port CM10.1 version of LG UI 3.0 (I found it somewhere on xda devs, but didn't tried)... And no wipe before install... Just backup to not be some problematic situations ....

Would love to the try this on my NeXus 4...can I? Tx!

About that issue, sollution to this is adding one more icon to dock bar (like that Browser) and it should work fine. For lockscreen bug don't contact me, that's CM10 bug for all MDPI devices.

This version doesn't work. I have version for CM10.1 but doesn't work on S6500/S6500D ...

Widgets uses a lot of memory so because of that is 101 MB file big.

[TUT][MOD] AOSP Lockscreen Stock Rom

Hey Guys, just a quick one from me here, you may have found this Tutorial Loafing around on various places at xda but i may as well share it with you and make it device specific! ​
This doesn't add or change anything, just replaces stock lockscreen (Which i love) With the JB AOSP one (Which i also love)
Requirements:
- Stock Rom/Based Rom
- Root Access
- A Root file explorer ( I use ES and give it RW perms )
- A Thumb Of course

Open your chosen file explorer and gain root permissions/give it root access or whatever you would like to call it​
Now navigate to /system/Apps​
Scroll a little till you find the Lockscreen3.apk (Well mine was called that)​
Long press or select or whatever to give you the ability to rename it​
Now change the file extension to Lockscreen3.apk.bak obviously not in red but you need to add that bit​
Now reboot​
NOTICE:
To return to stock, change the file name back to .apk
Upon boot you will have an AOSP jb Lockscreen Which would look similar to this one:​

Find out what your stock lockscreen.apk and sure it will work on most devices, ICS and upward only thou i think, however i may be wrong, works on Sense and LG however i have never tried TW! Give it a go and post back here any feedback and devices it works for!

Nice tutorial btw u can also do this by going into the build.prop and change the ro.lge.capp_lockscreen=true line to ro.lge.capp_lockscreen=false

do u mean that u have a live wallpaper on home screen ? in that case it will show on the aosp lockscreen also

nice tutorial. i get everything done until the part of renaming Lockscreen3.apk. when i rename it by adding the .bak extension, i get a notification saying fail on task and it doesn't let me rename the file. any ideas?
