Oh! the water must have obviously caused the problem. Water causes these problems like bad or no display, no sound or vibration etc.
You will have to change some part of the hardware from the Samsung service centre

if you have any previous experience with opening a mobile, i'd suggest you to give it a try and open it up. Most of the problems will be fixed in most phones just by opening it and taking off all connections and putting it back properly. But make sure you remember which parts go where.
If you are brave enough to open it yourself, do it and clean it up.

Im currently using Boype's Modded CM7, and there is Really BAD Noise during calls.
I am Using V20G Indian Baseband,
When i flashed IZS v4, Without changing baseband, this problem was gone.
Please help ASAP as calls are really important!
If calls were important, why you don't just use IZS, since the problem isn't happening with it?
The ROM isnt as smooth as CM7 for me.
Im waiting for a few updates on IZS.
So, any fix?
Btw, what is strange is that only the other person hears the noise. I do not.
Bump

Noise in call was a known cm7 bug
So it can't be fixed, or is there any way? Cuz I can't get myself to leave this ROM lol
Did you updated Basebands that Boype put in First post?
boype said:
Download links for Baseband changer package:
Download mirror 1: Mediafire
Download mirror 2: Rapidshare
Only change your baseband if you know what you are doing. The procedure is really simple and instructions are included in the zip file. Changing baseband will only affect baseband, your ROM / settings / apps will be unaffected.

Okay, this issue was solved in a strange way.....the earpiece also stopped working...so I went to the lg service center and told him about this. He disassembled the phone, and checked the motherboard and told me that I would have to replace the motherboard to fix this problem...and I would have to come 2 days later as the part was not in stock..so he re assembled the phone and gave it to me, but when i made a call, voila! Earpiece working fine and absolutely no noise in call!
Hello Everybody
I have unlocked Bootloader, rooted my Device, flashing Custom Kernel (Doom Kernel v06) and now the JB4.2.2_PAC_yuga Rom for Sony Xperia Z. This Rom is awesome and i love it, but one Problem i've found: During a Call, when i press the Speaker-Button the Sound will go off. Nothing Tones at internal speakers or other. I must reboot my Device now, then the Internal Speaker and external work.
External Speaker are sometimes very quiet, but on many Apps normal. Now i will take another Call. With intern speakers it is work fine, but now i'll press Speaker and the Sound on internal and external Speaker is going away. Reboot my Device again.
Now, i have read follow Line in the newest PAC-Rom Thread:
[CM-BUG] During call, put the call on speaker and the audio is on internal speaker is gone untill reboot.

Question: Can i update or fix the Problem self, when yes how, or must waiting for a new Update? (My actually Version see on Screenshot)
Thank you and Best Regards from Switzerland
This is a well known bug with Cyanogenmod based roms and there is no fix yet
unless you know how to fix it yourself, you just have to wait.
Okay. Thanks for the Answers, i had thinking, it's an error from the Hardware first.
i'm hopeful that this Fix is coming soon.
Do 'u know where i can see the Update, if this Bug is fixed?

i reckon the CM team will have it fixed soon-ish
when the CM team has it fixed, then most AOSP roms should have it fixed as well.
Speakers randomly stopped working, no audible pop or click or anything, they just stopped working. Set up a repair ticket with HTC but they say that could take 2 weeks. Before I go phone-less for two weeks, is there any deep troubleshooting I could do?
I was running an AOSP ROM when it happened, and I've flashed a Sense ROM and that didn't help anything, but I'm wondering if it's some kind of kernel issue that can be fixed by flashing something.

I have not, also, I flashed the kernel to no avail. I guess it really is hardware.
I know I have a 50/50 chance of actually being serviced since the device is rooted, but should I do anything special to hide anything, or just flash stock ROM & send it off?

yeah all you can do is reflash stock, but it will still say unlocked
AT&T just sent out a replacement, HTC wanted me to pay for shipping & wait 14 days. Thread close?
Hello guys
Recently I unlocked the phone bootloader , rooted and installed a new ROM ..
But when I get a notification sometimes , a high pitch buzz sound comes out of the speaker and at the same time I discovered that the earphone Jack doesn't work anymore
This didn't happen before I installed the new ROM so I thought I install another ROM but it occurred on the new ROM too
Thanks for your help

Sorry but that didn't help , the problem still exists ,can this be a hardware problem ? Something wrong with the headphone jack? Should I flash the custom ROM to be sure ?

Try CM11 and check whether the issue continues
It's a known issue with AOSP based roms

I did not face that issues when i flashed cm11 or aokp
It's not a constant buzz, only briefly every so often. I'm not sure whether it's because older blobs are used or because of cm itself

Can you flash XXJVU (stock, 2.3.6) and check if vibration returns to normal?
If you go back to stock and it starts working then it was a Kernel problem, if it still doesn't work then it's a hardware problem and there is nothing that you can do.
;(

Actually my friend, I return to the rom sitada above, and other 2 more original versions, but without success. I believe the problem may be the same board. But okay, it was a pleasure, if you somehow get back to normal, I'll post the result here. Hugs to all!
