Can't find much info on timeframe of the black one, what do you guys think, is it going to make it out before the $100 rebate ends or not?

i caved and just bought the silver one...It sure is Puuuurity..I wanted that black so bad though but the phone was going into a case ASAP so its no big deal i guess...
From what i've determined talking to Sprint employees No one has a clue when it's coming...
Yeah I don't use cases, little concerned the white injected plastic on the silver model won't be so white down the road...

If you don't use cases, I would consider the silver version. There is a youtube video (sorry, no link) that I saw earlier today where the guy dropped his black HTC one and chipped it and underneath the black is silver. So basically with the black version, its going to show chips and scratches more easily than the silver.

Bummer, I was hoping they would have figured out a better process, I can't stand the couple chips I got on the edges of my Evo 3d.

That's the reason for the delay (why none have been sold in the US yet). They are improving the process so that the black anodized HTC One does not chip.

Umm I thought the black was sold out? At least it was when I preordered which was fine by me, I wanted silver anyways.

It was never in stock to begin with.
I was in the ATT store Saturday and there was an HTC representative asking for feedback of people expressing interest in One.
I asked her about the black model and she said it's definitely coming to both Sprint and ATT within a couple of weeks.
She said she thinks it'll be first or second week of May for Sprint.
I'm due to upgrade my sprint home connect in june so hopefully it will be available by then.
June 1st right here and no case needed, with best-buys insurance its $10 a month NO DEDUCTIBLE...i'll toss that One TEN DAMN FEET IN THE AIR IN THEIR FACE AND THEY'REOBLIGATED TO GIVE ME ANOTHER ONE

Does everyone's M8 have a slightly raised screen and speakers? I'm trying to find out if mine is normal or odd. The edges of my phone are slightly lower than the screen and the speakers. I read some reviews that mentioned that the M8 has edges that were higher than the screen so if you placed the phone screen down, the screen didn't actually touch the table. Is that the case with the Sprint M8? Is the Sprint M8 slightly different than other carriers, maybe due to the Harmon Kardon dealio?
I plan to head to a Sprint store in the next couple days to see what the display model looks like. I have a SERO account so I had to order my phone through Telesales so I'm a bit worried that if I have to exchange it, it could be a pain.
Thanks for any insight!

Anytime, Yea people I have showed the phone notice it....I tell them its better then having your fingers hit the edges of the phone...I can't stand it when that happens.

Interesting that they notice. I didn't notice or care until I bought the Case Mate Barely There case which says in it's marketing that it has a lip to protect the screen around the edges, but the one they shipped me didn't have a lip. So I started wondering if maybe my screen was higher than it should be. I also bought a Incipio Featherlight case and it does have slight lip. I'm not sure yet which I prefer. I don't really need the lip as I never put my phone down on it's screen side, but I like that the Featherlight case is a matching grey color, while the Casemate is just boring black. Really tough decisions right? ;oP

I totally get it! I've had every Sprint HTC Flagship since the Hero. HTC makes beautiful awesome devices! With that being said, I am really critical of craftsmanship too and I've had some kind of gripe with every one of them. From crooked screen, dust under screen, light bleed, dead pixel, raised speaker grill like yours, you name it! Even my M7 took a few exchanges lol. Yes, I'm kinda anal, but for the price of these devices I expect perfection I guess. With my M8 I am good with all it's "character flaws" as it's a beautiful device. I'm not even gonna do a dead pixel test...I'm happy! Like I said, I get it...go swap it out if you're able to do it, make sure you're happy! Good luck
Yea I dropped my HTC one in my garage today and didn't notice it right away but I now have a nice hairline crack from the HTC logo to the top right corner. It's not unusable but I was wondering can the screen be replaced easily? I watched a few YT vids that show a complete tear down and I'm hoping that it's not that complicated. Can it be done?? 4th smartphone in 6 years and never experienced a cracked screen before.
Still reviewing my options as I may just spring for an m8, but I'm under contract at at&t.

Its quite hard to disassemble and reassemble the M7 whitout damaging something. Might be a better idea to get it repaired from htc or by a qualified repair shop.
btw if you purchased your M7 after Feb 18, you can have your screen replaced free by htc (6 months warranty)

Not the answer I was looking for but good to know.
I'm wondering if I can sell it. Like I said it's barely noticeable and I can't even feel it, I'm using swype input in tapatalk right now. It could of been A LOT worse. Curious if I could get maybe 200 out of it.

I'm almost sure you could get around 200 on ebay. Just try to sell it with a reserve price of 200 and see what happen.
Thinking about getting a Nexus 6 with ATT, the only issue is that I want the white version but I only see mid-night blue on the website.
The only reason I want the white one is because the side edges are silver, I dont know why they didn't just make an all black one, Ill end up putting a black dbrand skin on the back to cover up the white.
buy it from google or motorola

Doing the ATT Next plan, going to a corporate store tomorrow to see if they can order me a white one, if not then I need to decide if the color is going to be a deal breaker.

AT&T only sells the midnight blue. No white, so AT&T will not be able to order you a white one.

Swap the back cover to white. There's a thread on here. You tube video as well. Fairly simple.
You can but it from moto using their moto finance and pay it off over a year with 0 interest.

Look into financing It through Motorola.
Just bought the mid-night blue through ATT Next. It doesn't look that bad in person plus I have a couple Spigen cases on the way.
Get a white case.
Just got my shiny new 128gb AT&T S6 Edge. Have a couple of hours to kill - feel free to ask me stuff!
I've got mine, but I'm curious does your front screen have scratch swirls all of it when you are in light?
Mine is scratched to hell on the front.
Any chance you want to attempt using CF-autoroot just in case Samsung ignored AT&T's request to lock? Figured I'd ask, despite the fact that there's virtually no chance.

I received my black/128 today as well. Not a scratch in sight. So far loving it but still notice signs of lag. Coming from Moto X 2nd gen and HTC M9. However, it is far less than S5 and is worth it to have a great overall phone with superb camera (M9 was aweful)
How is the battery ? Could you post some pictures?

Well I don't blame you, the 128gb on ATT is frankly outrageously expensive.
My 128gb looks perfect.
How bad is the att bloat? Also did it come in Samsung packaging or the att boxes they have been doing in the past?
Mine appears to be just a regular Samsung box, not specifically AT&T. Also, mine doesn't have any scratches or swirls, I have the 128GB white. It's immaculate.

I've always been partial to the white phones. I'm not too keen on all the different colors. A crystal clear thinnest case available and white is my favorite. The new colors the have though are pretty nice. You'll be very happy with whatever you decide to get.

Samsung pay
Just got my White 32gb S6 edge..Not a scratch in sight! Wanted to ask you guys if you'll have heard anything about the samsung pay. The samsung rep from best buy told me sometime this summer and the live chat on the samsung website told me that its available on the S6 but not yet on the S6 Edge which doesn't make any sense!
For those of you who already have one, how does it feel to hold with the curved screen? It seems sexy as hell but I feel like it's really easy to accidentally touch the sides of the screen

It is sexy as hell! And actually only find the edges easier to grip and less slippy than the S6. So far I haven't had issues with accidental touches, and it makes swiping in side menus actually a pleasure. Some apps are also emerging that make the most of the curves which is even cooler.
ok
ok.....
Can't wait to get it!
Played with one in Costco, and I must say, just amazing! The screen is even better than my note 4, which is saying a lot! And the curves look sexy as hell! Mine will b off contract though, so I will more than likely end up getting the 64gb.
U guys should post some pics......

There is an unsaid rule that, if you claim scratches (or non-scratches, for that matter), you have to establish it with pictures. Pics or GTFO, more or less.

Sigh. I'm really scared for when my phone comes in. Verizon's Gold phones are delayed, so I'm really hoping things get settled by then.
I'll be giving the phone a thorough once over before leaving the Verizon store. The rep is just going to have to deal with me breaking out the flashlight app on my current phone to check the screen.
i made sure to check before i left the store but no scratches here. Black, s6 edge, best buy preorder

From what I have seen on other phones with this issue - T Mobile - you won't need a flashlight to see it. It is pretty obvious.
No scratches here
My black edge was just delivered to me from an overnight fedex, and I have zero scratches. Time for my invisible shield.

64gb black made in chinaand also have no scratches. Got mine from vzw store. The only thing I see is the criss cross pattern of the gorilla glass but I have to look really, really hard at the right angle with a bright light. If I shine an led on it and look real close I can see some of the same criss cross lines but that's normal. It may appear to some as scratches. I definitely don't have swirls. Also no obvious scratches
Wife has the T-Mobile version and is perfect. No scratches or light staying on from flash. Seems as solid as a phone yet. Say that as a proud g3 owner.
