RUU for AT&T HTC One? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone have the Stock RUU zip for the AT&T HTC One? Having an issue and need to exchange it. Not related to a custom ROM.
Or does anyone know how to completely restore to stock without it unlocked, no tamper notice or red text during boot etc?

should be in Q and A

No luck. Really need to return phone to stock. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Flash the Stock ROM in the AT&T HTC ONE Development section. Then return the phone. They almost never check anyways.
Just switched mine 20 minutes ago due to issue with microphone.

They do not check. They open the box to make sure the phone is there, and that's all.

Warranty return to stock

I got the HTC vivid without even looking at the Nitro. I decided to switch over since I got it a week ago.
I an going to return it to stock except if they go to HBOOT they'll see it was unlocked before
Will they even look at that if I tell them I want to trade it out or what

No they will not look. I use too think samething, but after return my infuse for vivid. They just check for everything in the box and check the if phone is working.

Not yet. There's an Asia one. The post above though might be worth just sending it back rooted. Doubt they'd check. I like the silver one. It's nice just looks nicer in black. I'll decide Monday when it comes to actually sending it back lol

Need some advice

Hey guys and girls of the xda community
I just wanted some advice on flashing a custom rom if possible?
My doubts and concerns arose when my first HTC one wouldn't charge whatsoever, and since then I'm a little bit sceptical about flashing a custom rom in case it happens again in which case HTC or my network provider won't replace my phone again.
Is the whole "not charging" thing related to hardware or software?
Just wanted some advice before I get back "in the game" for the want of a better phrase
Thanks guys and girls

I've had my One 5 months now and when I got it I vowed to keep it stock.... a week later I was up and running with ARHD and have run every version since then without any charging issues. Don't know if this will help your decision.

Yeah I can understand that but my thinking is if it was rom related it would be all over the place here

So you reckon it was hardware related??

I don't think I could ever blame a charging issue on a ROM. And if it was somehow related you'd see it posted all over.

I can't say one way or the other to be 100% sure.... wait and see who else reponds
I got my one in March 2013, flashed it to death, including GPe conversion.
Then after many months I got a charge problem.
Phone would charge extremely slowly when screen on, no more than 200 to 300mA.
My first thought was I had caused with error in flash. I had two genuine HTC charger, one new with HTC One and other from One X. Swapping chargers didn't help.
Eventually ordered another genuine HTC charger and cable, result charges at 800 to 900+ mA when screen on.
Problem solved: cost £16 ($25)

I have messed with with roms and jailbreaks a ton and have never had any issues that made me think I broke it. You probably had a hardware issue and were just hypersensitive. There are some software options on a few of the roms to allow quick charging. I bet you 10 to one you had a legit hardware issue or your charging gear was bad. The cords break all the time around the entrance to the phone....iphone android doesnt matter. They all fail to reenforce these areas of the chords. I would start there.

[Q] My Inc S reboots automatically

Hi,
I am using JB 4.1.2 by szezso.
Everything work but my phone reboots automatically without me even touching it.
That happens quite often.
Any reason?
Thanks,
Arslan
This may be a little late post, but I found some papers in my HTC incs box...
It showed me this: auto-reboot issue...
The phone was still under warranty back then and has been replaced with another one...
I guess, if you still have warranty left... Just relock ur phone and bring it in... Or sell it as defect and buy a new one if u want...

Anyone with a half sunken power button?

Does anyone has had this problem? Do any of you guys know if HTC covers it under warranty ?

The earlier factory batches of the HTC One have a lot of hardware faults and build issues, I recommend getting your phone replaced if under warranty. Build defects are good reasons to get a warranty replacement. I've replaced my One twice so far due to defects and I finally got a perfect device.

Depends on your carrier. I went to AT&T for a replacement and they did it fine without any issues.
