if any one knows how to go about it, please provide your valuable input.

I use ROM Tool Box Pro. There are hundreds of bootanimations to choose from and it's really easy...

Never play with boot logo dude. It can brick your phone, if you replace the png file larger than the supported one. Are you aware, what is the max size of png that can be used safely in I9003. If bricked with logo, you will need to replace mobo. So play safe. I'm sharing my personal experience here with samsung spica.

Mobo means Motherboard. The boot animation files in Galaxy phones is in "qmg" which is proprietary format also known as qmage format. Its not in zip file format as you have seen with other phones.

Insecure Boot IMG Red Text / Stock Rom

Heres One For You, The Stock Rom That Einstein Has Created, Would It Repair The "This Build Is For Development Purposes Only" In Theory?
I No Longer Have The Device, But If It Does, It May Solve These Woes That People Are Having Trying To Restore Stock?
Yes, this might work...in theory.

Are you talking bout the one that shows up under the htc logo before the boot animation? That message only shows up when your using a boot img that's been modified if you flash any untouched stock boot image the message will go away.

Then we could simulate the stock boot animation and run our modified animation.

Custom Boot Animations

So now that we can flash splash screens to our phones has anyone tried putting any custom boot animations on as well or made any? Is it as easy as just replacing the boot animation zip like older devices?
