Thanks!
Dear Geeks,
I have this Tab GT-P7300 hard-bricked will not switch on.
is there any hard reset button?
the 3 combination i.e. power+vol down+vol up would do nothing.
plug to wall charger would do nothing.
would not go to download mode.
is there any way go fix this? can i open it? and remove the battery?
any kinda help will be appreciated.
waiting....

If it's hard bricked jtag or sending it to sammy are your only options.

actually the tab was off for a month hence, the battery is drained. after putting for power 3 hours it come back to some life.
its booting in stock recovery. i wiped factory and cache and restarted but the same problem reboots back in stock recovery.
do not go in download mode. i think it still needs more charging. but i'm not sure if its charging at stock recovery mode.
now, what is the solution??
can i open and charge the battery some how??

[Q] soft brick? or hard brick? can you tell me

hey i just got a question. i had flashed serendipity VII and my battery ran out all the way.left my phone on my desk and my nephew was playing with it and got the phone in download mode, the phone had some battery enough i guess to get into download mode but then the battery drained all the way while in download mode. Now i cant charge my phone, keeps rebooting into the screeen that shows that the battery is charging but it dosent charge just reboots into the same screeen. not able to get into download mode or recovery with any button combos. is this a soft brick that can be able to be fixed with a new battery and download mode jig sold by mobiletechvideos? Or is this a hard brick only able to be fixed with JTAG?

Well if it turns on it isn't hard bricked. I would try taking out sim and then charge. You might try to plug into computer and see if it charges but if it is bootlooping try and getting battery charged then get into download mode with adb.

Hi,
This wouldn't be referred to as a hard brick. There are actually several situations in which JTAG is a needed alternative despite not having a hard brick (usb port problems not allowing a flash, a phone won't go into download mode at all, severe partition bricking). In your scenario, leezrd has good advice. If you still can't get it, buy a new battery or borrow a buddies and get it turned back in to verify it's fine with a good battery.

Also, a JIG is always a good thing to have on the side.
i tried taking off the battery and plugging it in to the pc it was the first thing i did . but still wont charge my battery and wont turn on passs the battery charge screen.. ill just buy a battery and see if thats the problem. thanks to both of you for your response

.So you can get it to battery screen? By the way I don't think batteries come pre charged so gonna be in same situation. If you know someone with galaxy s phone charge from their phone and switch batteries to your phone.

Not to insult your intelligence but gingerbread download mode is volume down and power or volume down and usb. And recovery is volume up and power.
So if you can get in recovery you might be able to delete battery stats then try plugging in to are if charges.

[Q] Phone is dead!! Help!!

Hello friends,
I have a big problem. I'm relaxing on holiday in Italy when I saw that the battery was almost empty. Suddenly my phone rang in a loop all the time and saw the logo of the semphore kernel. I have removed the battery and attempt to start, but he remained in a loop. Again remove the battery and connected to a charger and leave it off because i was going to shop. When I came back to grab my phone it was incredibly hot. I removed the charger and the battery. But now my phone is doing nothing at all. Can not boot, no recovery mode and no-download mode. What should I do? Is my battery deceased? When I put on the charger I can see on the screen that he is charging. Hopefully someone has a solution or experience with it.
Yours truly Michiel
Try this..
1. Remove battery
2. Press power button for few seconds
3. After 30 min put the battery back
4. Try booting or going to download made now
Else, try keeping your phone for charging for a day and hope it works.
Finally get the usb jig and try it.

If you get download mode back, but not recovery, then flash the semaphore .tar with Odin and that should sort it,

Yeah the phone is alive. What works was: Remove battery, connect to pc then 3bc and replace battery. After this i came in download - mode and i installed a stock rom.

Not charging and phone is Rooted (Cant take back to Samsung)

Hey guys, I have a problem atm
My Samsung Note decides to die this morning, I tried charging it with different USB but the same happens. When you plug the USB in, the battery sign will come up for a sec with the loading circle on the battery and then show the green charging animation, after a while it will disappear and restart therefore the battery wont charge up.
My Note is still under warranty and is Rooted with cyanogen 9 mod therefore I cant take it back without restoring it.
Any ideas on the problem or advice on how to unroot with no power?
Thanks
Swap batteries with someone and restore to stock. Cheap battery & external charger is another option. (EBay)

Can you still get your phone into download mode?
I think you can still take your phone to samsung, the warrenty is probably void but theyll still fix it.
i guess this a usb port error and you can't fix a hardware issue take your baby to sams sc
charge or get a battery somewhere else. re-flash stock rom. send it back for warranty afterwards.

My Tab can't power on. Is it dead?

Dear all,
Yesterday, my Galaxy tab p1000 used normally. However, today, I can't power it on. It can't be due to batterry because I remember I charged it fully. My tab is running ICS 4.0.4 and everything is okay. Now I try many ways but it doesn't make any flash
Do you know what the error is? How to force it to power on?
I have tried to go to recovery mode and download mode but in vain. It seem deadly.
Hi
when you connect it to your computer, is it showing in sign of life? (on odin or heimdal) if it's a No, try to let it charge for 4 hours and then try to get it in recovery or download mode, if you get nothing, then look in YouTube for a video to how open your tab and unplug the battery for 5 minutes and plug it back, if nothing happen, get a new battery
ps : if your tab is still on warranty, don't do anything from above, get it to Samsung and let them do their Job.
best regards ^_^

Maybe it's time to upgrade to build 40?
Have you tried to go to recovery mode? download mode? or press the power button while plugged in to computer/or wall for more than 5 seconds?
it has no signs of life. I have tried every ways I know: go to recovery mode, download mode, plug-in computers... Perhaps I have to open it to do something with the battery. But, it have just changed it full a day ago. It can't run out of batterry so quickly.

you can't assume that the battery isn't dead, even if you charged it fully a day before, and maybe if you unplug it and plug it back it will came to life, we don't know

I had the same problem. I opened mine up and unplugged the battery for an hour. Then I charged it for 24 hours. Tap the screen and keep hitting the power button. That's how I got mine working. I hope this helps
P.s if you have warranty. Just send it in

I brought it to a warranty centre and they said the IC is dead. (the chip to power on) They asked me for 100$ for a new IC. hic hic. I didn't see they replaced it or not. Is there any way to check whether the new IC was replaced?

A250 Dead during Factory Reset

Dear Guys,
I was doing a factory reset for my A250. The battery was only 20% (it was my mistake that I did not charge it fully).
Mobile went switched off during the reset and now it seems to be dead. Cannot switch on. I put in in charger for more than 2 hours. But no sign of charging. I tried flashing stock rom. But flash tool or computer did not recognize my mobile.
Can anyone help me what to do??

Relax. Try pressing all three physical buttons (same buttons that are use for going in to recovery) many times. It will definitely solve the problem. It may take up to 20 times.
