Just saw this and made the payment. Looks pretty decent and the price is reasonable as well. Now gotta sit tight and wait for e bays notpriously long shipping time.
What do u guys think?
Looks pretty nice.
I didn't read through the whole description, but did it say if the back is also metal with the "carbon" sticker or plastic with sticker?
Awesome find, let us know in 3-4 weeks when you get it.

Just ordered a silver on silver one! Hope it gets here by May 3rd like its supposed to and I hope the quality is good as well...anyways the return policy is spelled out and the company has great feedback.
The S-Pen slot on this thing looks like a pain..
It's not an open slot like most cases, but rather a partially closed one -- It has a support bridge going directly across where your finger would usually slide the pen out. Definitely will take some finesse..
You can see it more obviously in this pic:
Judging from the thickness of the device with the my money is on it being a complete back cover replacement. Similar to the one here in xda about the aluminium bumper and back that makes it look a little similar to the iphone (which I have and am using). The s pen slot looks like the same and so I dont think taking out the s pen is an issue.
The silver on silver is a little too blingy for me. The gold is a bit mellow or at least I hope it looks like in the picture and dont come to me sparkly gold lol.
I kill my device changing addiction by buying cases to change the look of my note 2. Searched long amd hard and found this. And frankly at 20usd even if it sucks bad I wont really feel the pain. Not like some 150 usd aluminium cases. *rolls eyes*
Im in malaysia and if the item is in singapore or thailand like it says it is im hoping it arrives a little sooner.
Retract my statement about it being battery cover replavement lol can actually see the oro back door at the back view
Also at the bank I believe there is a clear plastic back over the carbon fiber. At some of the pics u can see the reflection of the photographer
Sorry for typos typing fast on stock keyboard lol. Ps may 3rd? Extremely optimistic lol. I always put my target eta at 3 weeks. Its e bay economy shipping. Lol

Or just China shipping, then sits in customs for a week for no reason. Lol.
Could ruin reception ):

I recently ordered a Matte TPU case from a seller on ebay in Hong Kong. I like giving my phone some color on occasion but nothing overbearing or ugly. I dont like the clearish TPU cases with patterns because unless you get it in black or white (clear), the color looks awful to me against the black phone. So i decided to give the matte ones a go and i love it. The only down side is that i wish the buttons werent covered at all, it makes them a bit more sensitive but at least they arent hard to press and i suppose i could just cut it out. For now it doesnt really bother me.
I doubt these cases will provide much shock protection from a bad drop but i think they look good and are extremely slim. I went from using the Amzer to this and my phone feels naked now lol. Ill switch back and forth for when i feel like i need better protection. It feels great in my hand and slides easily in and out of my pocket. The plus about this case is that it doesnt have that hideous random red tramp stamp strip on the back like majority of the matte TPU cases. Im extremely anal about how my phone looks so that was a h*ll no. Also, youll see in the pic below that the front edges are a bit shiny, they arent matte like the back and i guess it adds something to the design. The material covering the buttons is the same thats around the edges. So if you wanted to attempt at cutting and freeing them from confinement, you already have an outline.
The seller i purchased from is out for the Chinese New Year but i think it says they will resume sales on the 11th or 12th. I purchased on the 23rd of January and got it on the 7th so thats pretty average wait time coming from HK.
I also tried out the "S" case that has a thread here in the forum, and way too snug for my liking and i didnt like the gloss next to the matte, so if anyone wants it i can mail it to you or its going in the trash. (i got it in black.)
Here are two pics, sorry i dont have one of it on the actual device but the best camera i own is....my Nexus lol. The itouch fails miserably at a decent photo. And yes remember it is flexible...

Hope thats somewhat helpful!

Then dont buy one. It was a couple bucks maybe? Its not like there are tons of cases out there that are worth the money so a little on the cheap side doesnt bother me. I wanted plain, slim, and color and thats what this is. I think its hard to avoid a "cheap" look when you spend 4 bucks on a TPU case. But anyway, thats what the review is for...to help you decide if you want one or not.

Haha I've been told a few times that I should but I don't think I have time to learn with school going on. I see like....3 girls on this forum so its kind of intimidating lol. The most I've even done for myself is make docks. I'm working on an icon set though that's been taking forever. Add me to gtalk...same name.
i actually got this case in white. It's actually a very good case for $1 and change. It is very slim. I love it. The buttons are easier to push then the ones on the amzer case.
Definitely worth the $1!!!
I would check your local Verizon store especially in MA, because I just walked into my local one and they had the speck candshell red and black case for $4! They also had a whole bunch of stuff for the Fascinate, Continuum, LG Ally, Droid 2, and Droid X.
Yeah, the same deal was available online with free 2 day shipping.
Yeah, just saw that thread. :/
Just ordered one online with free 2 day shipping! Thanks!!
The case is cool and all...but holyhell does it scratch like a mofo...the back looks awful now haha oh well maybe i get another! Just for the hell of it lol

The case is really nice, but beware, after 1 day at work on the desk the glossy back was completely destroyed. Looked like i dragged it down the beach...
Haha damn, is there any way to prevent it from scratching like everyone says it does?
buy as many as you can and keep replacing them? lol it's gonna scratch no matter what...damn thing lol
Yeah, that case would scratch on velvet. And also, the buttons are a ***** to press.

Spray some acrylic or something on the back to give it an extra coat of protection.
anyone else switch back to their old cases or anything? haha i had this speck for about 2 weeks, and idk, i'm sick of it. the scratches just look TERRIBLE on the back, and for me it was impossible to get the phone outta the case each time (the phone would come out, but the damn battery cover would stay in htere and take forever to get out!)
idk, and the red outlining looked so damn awful and ugly...i'm happy to be back to my black gel silicone case...now i hope those go on sale, bc mines a year old, and i could use a new one!
So I just wanted to start a thread for myself and anyone else who may want to read it
Basically anyone who has an otterbox case for the evo shift or has seen/used it or whatever just leave your opinions/reviews whatever. I am thinking of buying one so just wondering
I don't have one for the Shift but I've used an Otterbox on other devices and would recommend it if you have the slightest fear of damaging your handset.
I believe the last one I used was a Commuter which completely encased the handset and seemed to be able to take a hit. The back was too smooth for me so I had a little trouble re-learning how to hold it and the thickness of the handset increased significantly but overall it felt safe. Worth the extra money.
I am using the otterbox commuter case on my shift right now. I like it a lot. The fit and finish seems like it is completely a part of the phone. Only two complaints are:
1. If I try to move an icon from one hone screen to another, the piece covering the screen makes it difficult to move it to the "edge" - not a big deal, you learn to adjust.
2. When opening the slider, I hear a click sound, sounding like the little tabs holding the upper piece on are catching as it moves. Again, kinda not picky.
All in all, I think it is a great case and makes me worry a lot less about dropping my device. I would definitely recommend it.

Awesome seems like ill want to pick it up. I recently cracked the screen on my shift and made a few scuff marks so that's what seriously turned me to getting the case.

Tip for putting on the included screen protector...patience and a clean work surface! I couldn't get it to work well at first, then I ended up dropping it on the carpet. I was ready to give up on it until my wife took it from me and got it to work. So...if you have the patience of an ADHD kid on meth like I do...lol. It was my first screen protector too so. Anyways have fun!

definitely worth getting. i have the commuter series otterbox and it makes my phone look and feel like a beast. only thing that annoys me sometimes is the dust/lint that gets stuck to the rubber on the case, but i just blow it off.

I have one and love it! Top of the line case, looks good feels good and protects good! I would totally recommend it to anyone with a Shift!..
I use it on my shift, and have had them on two other phones. Like everyone else said, its a great case, and really does look like a part of the phone.

I'm now on my second otterbox after a free factory replacement, my only nit pics are the usb port cover doesn't stay closed, and it clicks everytime I open it, feels like one of the clips is catching....

Just got the Commuter series and I'm a fan so far. Makes the phone feel more substantial and gives a better grip. The only issue was with the headphone and USB port covers, which didn't stay down. I just removed them, but DON'T Rip them off, it'll tear the rubber casing. Found that out on the USB port one so I cut the headphone one off. Either way makes the rubber a little loose around the port but not hugely annoying unless you're a perfectionist(which I can be). I'll just apply a little glue and seat it on the plastic frame.

I just hope the back isn't the same when I get mine.

Nope I can confirm that, being really careful you can take the back without any problem..
I Think that the front parts being hard to take off it's a good thing.
Had mine for 2 or 3 months now
Bought it from Amazon for like $25 when they finally came available for the shift and had to wait a month before I got it in hand.
I'm not as impressed as i would be with the protection if it was a defender case. I had the black case with fake carbon fiber and belt clip before. The otterbox commuter is better then that one, by how much I'm not sure.
I dropped my phone about a month ago. I don't know if it just hit the right place of the case, and the back case came flying off the phone, the side clips where busted off, so the back case would not stay on any more.
I decided to call up otterbox and see if it was under warr. and if they would replace it. AMAZINGLY they said YES so they shipped me a new one for free i didn't even have to pay shipping. NICE. It was quick and easy I thought that was soooo cool. Because of that i will continue to buy otterbox, and recommend them to others.
In future i hope to buy defender cases (better protection) which means no more slider phones which i think i am ready for now that touch screens are so much better. All my old phones have been sliders with full keyboards from back in the day with my old HTC t-mobile MDA, which made me find this site.
Thats my 2 cents.
I am surprised no one has posted about this as of yet.
QBKing77's youtube channel has a video review of this "contraption".
Currently there is a deal where you get a free TPU case (i think thats what it is called) with the purchase of a $30 FlyGrip.
He also mentions how you get a discount by using his name at the checkout.
I am almost convinced to get one, but would like your input on this.

Not sure if it would add too much bulk
Pricing with shippingmmakes it quite expensive for us international buyers
I've been using it for about a week now, and haven't regretted that decision. It's definitely a must if you're using your N2 a lot with single hand. I'm still waiting for Aduro case to release their awesome kickstand case that they had for the GSIII:

I've been on the fence with this since i saw a video review of these a few weeks ago. I am horrible about ordering things online. I search the heck out of them and then never buy anything. I really like to see things in person.
I really like the idea though. Seems like it would really make the phone more comfortable for me. I have the flip cover and i usually have one finger between it and the back of my phone which gives me a pretty secure grip but after a few minutes my poor finger starts to feel smashed back there.
Maybe i should just break down and go for it. I could use the free case for testing the mod for using a tpu case with the flip cover.
So indecisive....

Too bad they had super expensive shipping to Sweden

I got one. The guy is real easy to deal with. I had to swap mine from white to black since Tmobile had no white Note2s. He did it without issue. I carried my phone for a week w/o the clip and now about a week with the clip. I find its a nice bonus. I mostly use it when I'm relaxing and holding the phone at odd angles. Its great for that, very secure. In day to day use I don't really use it since my TPU case has really good grip already.
I had my phone for almost a week before I got my flygrip. In my opinion it makes the phone much easier to use one handed. I have maybe slightly above average hands and I can reach the whole screen easier with it. The stand feature is very nice too. I have mine on a body glove and feel extremely confident I have a very secure grip on my phone when using it. Weird angle gripping is much easier as well. I would recommend one for the GNII 100%

What time curious about is how easy it is to transfer between cases or devices. I saw a video of somebody removing the FlyGrip and it looked to be some super adhesive material.
How resuable is it exactly?
Edit: Took a closer look and looks like you could grab a pack of 3 replacement adhesives. Was really excited for it despite the price since you could say it's justified with the TPU case throw in....but unfortunately the shipping code "QBKING77" is limited only to the States. Really disappointed since I'll have to pass just based on the shipping costs.

I had one on my Sensation, and am awaiting new adhesive, but I LOVE my Flygrip. Thing is simply amazing. I didn't think that I would get 30 bucks worth out of thin cheap plastic, but I've been sorely tempted to pickup a second one for my tablet. Also, they have pretty good customer support, I've called three times, and it's always the same guy that answers. I actually prefer this to the kickstand cases because of the one handed grip support. I can't text on my bike without it, especially with this phone. I'll upload a couple pictures as soon as I get my sticky backs

I just took mine off of my Sensation, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It took some forcing to actually begin to remove it, as it is really pretty damn strong, but once I got it separated from the old case it was simple enough to just rub the remaining residue away. It does leave a very clean rectangle on whatever case you put it on after removal lol.

So emailed FlyGrip with some questions. Response was very quick, not to mention a nice surprise with the great customer service!
" .... Additional tape provided”, are there extra adhesive tapes in each FlyGrip package? Or that we would have to buy the pack of 3 if we were interested in replacements?

Flygrip comes with (1) extra adhesive. So after you remove it, you can put the new adhesive on.* "Some" people try using the existing adhesive.* It depends on how sticky it still is.* We recommend to use a new one, but sometimes the adhesive is sticky enough to reuse.* We sell (3) packs for $2.47.

Also, a shot in the dark but I'm wondering if you do happen to have any promotions going on for international shipping (namely to Canada) as the FlyGrip was something I was immediately excited for, only to see the cost of shipping.

Love my FlyGrip. I enjoy knowing I'm not going to drop the phone, but I really purchased it because I'm an ex-EVO user and knew I'd miss the kickstand. I use it as a kickstand whenever the phone isn't in my pocket. Right now I'm using the free case that was included, but I'll take it off in a few weeks. I usually don't go for bold colors, but got the blue kickstand and a royal blue case. Nice looking.
He has lots of videos on the site to help with making a decision. Oh, no, it doesn't add bulk, it's only 1/4" deep. USA made and the packaging is very good looking, would make a great gift.
I think it's a smarter decision to look at these.
Amazon Wisefinger Options
Much cheaper, and they look more versatile.
Comes in multiple colors. Seller is awesome. Should protect against scratches from bumps and the problem areas of the watch. It wasn't as bulky as I thought. I got the black one. He sent me a white glow in the dark one because of a shipping delay of no fault of his. The white one wasnt my cup of tea but the black rocks. You do have to remove it to charge. It clips on pretty good. Im surprised i havent seen it mentioned here with all the sanding and such. The groves are not nearly as pronounced as the picture shows. Mine was smoother which i liked. Great with a screen protector for scratch protection. Hopefully the picture uploads otherwise his ebay name is archer28.
One more real picture. sorry about the second post
Thanks for sharing. What a coincidence. I was just searching for something similar and I found this post.
Could you pls share the ebay link?
Cheers.
i found him by typing in lg g watch r case on ebay. his name is archer28. he said he would be listing more next week. tell him Jeremiah sent you. i thought it was a great idea so we were chating back and forth a bit. great guy. said he was taking a break this week. i told him i was gonna post on xda so im sure more will be listed. large range of colors also
It's 3D printed, possibly designed by himself.
My only gripe is that you gotta remove it before charging. I can see me doing that each time I come home from work.
It's not on his eBay yet, but I'm eager to purchase it if the price is right
it was under 10 bucks. i think for me its more of an accessory where i wouldnt always use it but its perfect for those times where you would be hesitant to wear the watch or worry about it because of it getting damaged. its really easy to remove so its really not a big deal to remove before charging. keep checking next week or drop him a quick email through ebay. im positive more are coming and he took a break this week

Just bought this idk how a owner of this watch could live without this .. Seller was even nice enough to send me a red one .. Must buy
