I just rooted my dev edition htc one with the all in one kit and now y bootloader says tampered with above where it says unlocked anyone kno why or is it normal?
Yes it's normal because you rooted the phone ans SU is installed as system app so your system partition is 'tampered'.

I bought a used phone. After booting in bootloader, it reads tempered and relocked.
Then i selected the option "recovery"... It showed some stock recovery type animation for a few seconds.... And when the phone booted, the phone was like factory reset.... Not even the sd card files were there... Completely wiped.
Is it normal?
Also how to check if it is rooted or not? And steps more needed to flash custom recovery?

Well that just means that they unlocked the bootloader and then relocked it again

Well, it sounds like the person relocked the phone and wiped all of their data before he sold it. What you describe sounds normal. You could download root checker to see if it's still rooted, but I highly doubt it is. Search these forums for instructions on unlocking and rerooting.

You'll need stock everything then
./revone -l
fastboot oem writesecureflag 3
Search for that, you should find a guide.
Hellow.
Well like the titles says i have this indication on Bootloader Mode. First i succesfully unlock the bootloader mode from htcdev.com. At that point the only thing that changed was the status From Locked to Unlocked in the Boot Loader Mode. Now After flashing Clockrowk mod recovery i have another indication except the "Unlocked" which says "Tampered" just right above Unlocked Indication. Is is normal to have this indication? And second how i can root my Htc One M7 Internatinal Version Sw 1.36.599.1. Htc_332. Plus everytime i go out from Clockwork recovery it ask me if i want to root the device. Is that Normal ? Should i say yes? Or go the the normal way " Update from zip?".
Thank you,
Konstantinos.
Yes, it's normal that it says tampered. And, yes, you should say yes if you want to root.

Thank you for your responce,
Can you tell me if there is way to get rid that indication? What accually means this inidication anyway??? And one last question what's the difrence between SuperSu And SuperUser??
Thank you in Advance.
I believe the tampered means that your recovery isn't 'signed' as it's expected to be. You can get rid of it once you s-off if your going to do that (flashing a stock recovery or running an RUU would probably also get rid of it). And, lastly, those are two programs that both do similar things - both work well.

Having a stock HTC one red (yes hboot 1.54!!!) , will i be missing the Stock apps (calculator , flashlight etc) if i do a Hard Reset from the phone?
Is it the same problem with those guys Unlocking the bootloader using HTCdev?
Have anyone done that before?
my mum using it would have **** up the phone if she accidentally uninstalled.
I unlocked my phone from htcdev. You don't lose any system apps. All that happens is that your boot loader gets unlocked and obviously you lose your user apps.

Do you have all the necessary files for this? (ADB, fastboot, TWRP img file, and SuperSU zip)
626(s) is totally different from 626... ive tried it and does not work. i had to buy a XTC2CLIP to get it back to the way it was and have a unlocked bootloader as well... still in search of the 626 root tho
I have the ATT 626 and it worked flawlessly for me. Download the TWRP IMG file then flash it through ADB commands. Then download SuperSU flashable zip and flash in TWRP. Not responsible for any damage though, just trying 2 help!

Well recovery don't work and it's basically destroyed my phone tried flashing the ruu but nothing is working if the phone dies I have strip it to take battery out to start it again so yeah I'll wait for propa root process thanks anyway guys

The process for root for HTC phones are unlock bootloader, flash recovery, flash SuperSU zip. To use RUU the bootloader needs to be locked. To root, bootloader must be unlocked through HTC dev portal. This is the "proper" way to root.
Well as you can see my boot loader is unlocked and I'm still stuck.. I can't wipe my phone I can't do anything can anybody give me some answers

You must relock the bootloader first. Then you can use the RUU for your device.
Code:
fastboot oem lock
kingroot
ok my friend so heres what i did i first had to unlock the phone was google locked bought it from somebody else for 20 bucks i thought what a steal well maybe it was don't know but only to find it was google locked after 4 days of various work arounds i figured one out myself based on youtube workarounds and one i figured out got it unlocked didn't want to mess with a lot of bs so tried kingroot to no sucess until i unlocked bootloader through htc tried kingroot and voila another day and time i will twrp bootloader and super su it but for now just want to enjoy my new toy.
Hope this will help you and others out!
