[Q] HD games don't work on my X8 !!

I need Help Please!
I downloaded and installed several HD games on my Xperia X8, but none of them work. :/
It either tells me that the game is not compatible with my device or the game simply crashes when it is starting.
I installed Chainfire3D and Swapper2 but still same result.
Maybe because swapper keeps saying that swap file not found or something like this.
Is there something I should do?

Buddy , this is a low end device....if you want to play buy a quad-core , dual even an 1.4ghz device is better . Some games work smoothly but not all. If you tried for ex Gameloft games ,90% of them wont work.

You are wrong, because I am playing games, I would say 90% gameloft games work just fine.
Back to topic you have to search the hvga version(*mod)
From what you told about swapper I guess you use stock kernel, swapper work with custom kernels!

older gameloft games work fine on our device. newer games wont work becouse gameloft doest support armv6 anymore.

Sure kernel will increase the performance but that's not the case.
Hvga games will fit to our screen and will have lower graphics, try search on google a game that you want and put hvga in your search

Its frustrating on how long its taking for this to work on my phone and every time a new version get ported to armv6 the auto die bug still smh :\

I know this issue, but i have to say that u have to accept that the x8 is old wise androidian

I highly doubt we will see this I believe after they kill all the bugs in the current android temple run they will move on to another project or bring it to windows phones of course this is my opinion not actual facts

An Idea
I understand that no one wants to port v 1.0.4
Because it does not make it bug free.
The bug still remains there.
But i want to notify another thing, the bug : "auto die"
takes place due to overloading of processor or Ram when the distance notification comes down every 250m.
If someone can please remove that notification and try porting (any version say v1.0.3).
I think we would surely got bug free temple run port.
And distance can be seen at the pause screen or at the end(game over).

W8->X10mini trade worth?

Guys is it worth to swap mo phone with X10 mini or X10 mini pro?

No. You can change it to Xperia Mini Pro that one is worth it.

What really worries me is the games that I use to play on W8. But I heard X10mini is faster cause of its lower resolution. I can't afford to buy xmini yet

Most of the games (and apps too) wont work on x10 mini's QVGA screen, so beware...

No absolutely does not worth it.
Maybe u can exchange it with a xperia mini

problem running some games on my galaxy ace s5830i

First of all i didn't know where else to post this so if there is a better section for it, then let it be moved there by the moderators
i have this strange problem with some games on my new galaxy ace (had it for a month now)
some games run slow and laggy although i saw them on youtube running perfectly good on the Ace
American football runs in BLACK AND WHITE for some reason
nfs shift runs with a white rectangle covering most of the screen
asphalt 5 runs with a white square covering the text and it runs really slow too
also bunny shooter runs just like in this video also the game in the vid is NOVA

Galaxy Ace S5830i has Galaxy Y's Graphics Processing Unit and it is weaker than the original Ace's Adreno 200 GPU.
So, you have problems whereas the people who have the old Ace can run the games properly!
FYI I run GTA 3 in my phone with very less lags! Lol....

i pretty much doubt that
the difference between the s5830i and the s5830 is that the first's processor is i little bit faster and that's it
there's no difference in the gpu whatsoever
but anyways .. do you have any ideas for solving this issue ??
also i haven't tried gta 3 yet if you can get me the link you used it'd be much appreciated

It does have a little bit faster cpu but has onboard gpu. Search s5830i in this forum theres plenty of infomation about the insides of this new ace

You are wrong..Sgy is more similar to to your device than ace..Refer other threads in general more info

Well s5830L and s5830 are same but s5830I is different. It has different hardware. Afaik it has broadcom on-board graphics unit. Which is pretty much weaker than adreno 200. So sorry they all can't run properly on your "i" version.

also, seeing as im here, any news on kernels/roms??
Loved the old ace with the cooper roms on it...this one is C***

Well we see after 2 3development will maybe can make a good quality of it... now only 1 or 2 kernel that really stable for moment, soon once of the dev will make magic like I said before... some tweaks, mod may improve day by day for 5830i...

so just to be clear ... i'll have these problems with hd games in general right ?
i was able to run pes 12 hd but no other hd games
also i did use chainfire and it did have good effect but not enough
and to think that i bought it under the impression that it was better than the old ace .... :crying:

Well,actually,the Broadcom processor used in SGAi is faster than the processor used in SGA,thing is,Sammy hasn't used the potential of the hardware to the fullest.
