Snapdragon battery gury - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Anyone has a good experience with this app? Or is it the same as the power save mode that the one has?

It does more than that. It is also like Sprint Connection manager to switch to WiFi when available. I ran it for a week on my EVO 3D and didn't notice any improvement.

Used it on my evo LTE before getting my One and it worked extremely well but since putting it on my One I don't see it helping as much as it did on my evo
and it gss had several updates since then. In my opinion use it yourself and see if it helps

Would this be recommended over battery doctor or juice defender?

Here is another new app

I use it with greenify. They work really well together.

I recommend it. I find it gives me 20% longer life! That being said it really depends on your usage patterns

Is there a particular kernel that runs real cool and doesn't drain the battery?

This would be awesome. Running viper right now so any ideas would be great.

Try the app One Power Guard in the app store. Im absolutely blown away by the battery life with it. Think of those apps like Juice Defender and Battery Saver Plus but on the kernel level. Itz amazing

Super Nexus 4.2 + aoip 3.4.63 kernel

for the past couple days after < lkspooky > mentioned it i have been using the super nexus 4.2 rom with the 3.4.63 white screen fix kernel camcory posted in the aoip thread, that with ram managers swap file feature and adw launcher ex for the extra features that super nexus dont have.
i must say i am very very impressed, awesome battery life, very fast and smooth, i have not had any problems so far and if you can live with the loss of a few features then you should try this.
@lkspooky, thanks alot, i love it...

dont know if it is the kernel that has to do with the build.prop or what but you can switch sd cards by editing the build.prop like with aoip, and it works...
Any word on when they will get the gps working? I use my phone as a nav, so that's important to me. I'm going to try it out, though. Your recommendation is pretty good. Thanks.

That's awesome. I downloaded it last night. i'll give it a shot. Thanks for letting me know.
it's OK, but aoip allowed for more home screen customization. I can't change text colors or clock style. I'll mess with it and see. cool so far, tho.

thats why i said if you can live without some features, try it.
im more for performance, stability and battery.
the extra features are nice but i can live without them.
but you get some back by using a different launcher and other things here and there.
I used adw launcher so I can customize my home screen

I use LauncherPro, so I have some things. just not Trebuchet. I agree with you, though. Speed and stability are what is important.

If you post a comment and want to delete it, XDA doesn't let you delete the entire post only the contents. I said something about trying what you guys mentioned but just ended up back to AOIP so it was a moot point.

I tried a few other roms, even tried gb roms again but I'm back to the super nexus setup, it's to nice not needing to charge my phone during the day

even the GB roms needed to be recharged during the day? I'm getting over a day out of the battery, despite heavy use. super nexus has been great, so far.

Yeah it's a pretty fast ROM being so lightweight, but I miss the other features too much since I got used to them. Viper wasn't totally compatible either. That being said for a no frills, fast ROM this is pretty decent. @Tim1928 always did good things for our phone ever since CM7.

Power wake locks.

Does anyone know of what all these are? They are killing my battery life.
Does anyone hav e a good resource for finding g out what they are?

What apk is that? I tried to quickly find it so I could compare. Battery Bot didn't show that process but maybe it's not as detailed.

That's Google tracking your location. In location settings.....put the phone on gps only or turn off location completely and the wakelock will go away.
Aha. Thanks. I thought it might be something along g those lines.

Dynamic Notifications?

Anyone use it or know if it is a big battery drain?
Thinking of using it full time since the Note 3 us using an Amoled screen and it should not use much battery.
Just would like to know real world usage.

been using it from day one and no real battery drain
Okay thank you guys. I will try it out.

Need identification/diagnostic help. (Battery)

My GE HTC One has been having horrible battery life the last few days. Android System and Mediaserver have been slaughtering my battery within an hour and i want to know why. My possible thoughts are
Snapchat +Keepchat xposed extension (it saves all snaps to your internal mem)
Or settings issue?
Im exhausted and was hoping someone could give me advice to wake up to and try out tomorrow.
(BTW, its not partial wakelocks (caused by apps) because i got an xposed app that lets you disable wakelocks per app, and i knocked out any indecent wakelocks).
All help will be thanked!!!

about all I can suggest is that you wipe everything and flash the rom with stock kernel.
add apps one at a time and you should be able to work out what's using your battery.
I quit using snapchat and keepchat, it helped alot.

So ive been doing some reading, and apparently android 4.4.2 (across all devices) has a bug causing 100% cpu and battery to be diverted to the camera once an app has opened it. Google is aware, and working on a update. Should restore things to the way they were normally

Not all devices, just those where the camera uses a Qualcomm chipset, such as the Nexus 5.
Google releases software updates to the Nexus 5. They do not release updates to the HTC One, HTC does. Even for the GPE.
