Extended battery case with flip cover

anyone try it yet?

not a bad idea, but im sure people would love it more if they could access the stylus without having to rip the case off.

that's what I was thinking too. All the external extended battery cases block off the stylus.

Right. Looks awesome but why would anyone make a case without access to pen?
Also with these extended battery cases, are people considering how heavy this phone will be?

But in defense of the no pen access it does look like it would be quite easy to pop the phone out quickly to access the pen.

One thing to keep in mind. This is pretty cheap for a 4000 mah extended case and it is from China. My experience with Chinese ebay cases is you never get the mah they promise.

I haven't had to many good experiences ordering from China so I will have to pass on this.

More than likely the external battery is only 900mah making the total battery 4000mah. Also has an on/off switch which is too easy to push while in pocket.

Samsung S4 Active

not leaked photos, it was shown off at a cell phone convention in croatia

OK, not a leak per se, but pics nor info not released abroad by Samsung as of yet . So, what do you think? thoughts? I feel that this is what the regular S4 should have been....maybe with color choices.

I would be surprised if this comes to the U.S.

I've looked at those, but I'd like there to not be any any bulk to the phone. Right now i'm just rocking it naked with invisibleshield on the front and back, this has been the first time I could use a smartphone and feel like it's not too fragile to set on the table without a scratch getting on it. :good: If anything it would be awesome if there were replaceable backcovers in different colors, but i have yet to see anything.

There are some. Check out the accessories thread. There are leather ones and carbon fiber that I ha e seen so far. That's one benefit of this phone, we will probably have the most accessories next to maybe the iPhone.

My initial thoughts are the phone looks nice but don't like the physical buttons. Also, doubt that just because it has that coating on the phone the screen won't crack if dropped on concrete. In my mind having a good case is the only way to prevent certain things from happening and if I'm going to use a case then what is the point of a "rugged" phone.
This is just me and I understand others have different needs but that is my opinion on it.

I miss the days of my old Nokia 8260 when replacing housings were common. You dropped your phone, $10 and a few days later you had a new housing that was four screws away from making your phone like new. I suppose a tempered glass cover and tpu cover and replaceable battery covers are about as minimalist with good coverage as you can get. And many of the 3rd party battery covers are two piece anyway with the plastic base and the insert that goes on it. So you get a little extra protection there as well.

not a big fan of those menu buttons. Phone looks nice. Samsung should have saved their fitness bloat for that phone. Up High :highfive:

Crassy View Flip Case

Anyone have this case?
It is a flip cover that covers the entire phone and has the cutout in the front.

Somebody linked a similar case that the whole from flip was translucent and you could even operate the screen through it. Seems like a much better alternative to this. I dunno what the slot is meant to do here, only giving you access to an inch of the screen?

Same thing the slot on the official s-view cover for the s4 does. Its supposed to show you the time/notifications without flipping it open.

Not really, it'll show the time though if that's what you have set up on your lockscreen

Yeah, same thing here to Southern California. I've been eying it since even before I got my Note, so I don't mind paying extra for shipping. Besides, an Otterbox is roughly that much.

A rugged note 5 case with S Pen cover?

Heres the story... My dad has a note 5 and works construction and that led to his original s pen to get dirt inside the spring so he cant get it out (unless he drops it on the carpet a couple times). He bought a new one from samsung and is looking for a rugged case that has a cover for the s pen. Ive tried looking and only found one that covered the ports not the s pen. Im hoping you guys will know of some. Thanks for your help!

I doubt there's a case that has a cover for the S Pen... it would make it too difficult to remove for most people.

We in the UK still don't have the V60 so I've had to import mine. Also we don't have many options for accessories! Any ideas for a pouch for the Dual Screen? Thanks in advance.

Nite ize make some really good ones that should be big enough to fit this phone. I Can provide you the link for two of their different ones that hard clamshell and the sideways XXL cases. There was a decent one I seen on eBay to for about $12 I can provide you the ebay link if you would like.

I've had one similar to that in the past for another phone and in my opinion it was just cheap junk and broke very easily.
if you want something of quick quality you're better off looking at the night Eyes the sideways case and also the hard clamshell both in the XXL size.
I seen a decent looking one on eBay this morning to for around $12 if you want any of the links I can get them for you.

I had one like that many years ago for a similar phone and in my opinion it was junk and did not last long. You better off going with something of really good quality such as Nite Ize. they make the sideways case pouch and also the hard clamshell one both in XXL sizes. I also seen something on eBay this morning for about $12 in a different brand that look to be of good decent quality. If you want I'd be happy to provide you links for these?
