Cannot get a signal after unlocking S5830D Galaxy Ace - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I have a Telus unlocked S5830D
I rooted, installed an app on the market callled Galaxy Ace Unlock and proceeded to unlock my Ace.
Unlocked just fine (or so I thought). The phone is completely unlocked, but I cannot get a signal.
The IMEI is still on my ace, so that's okay i hope.
Anyhow, I thought maybe installing CWM and Flashing AOKP might help my situation.
Same thing here - no signal. (I'm using a Rogers SIM)
My own conclusion is that Unlocking messed up the efs folder (I did NOT do a backup - I was unaware).
What do I do now to regain signal?
-I have Odin'd back to stock GB 2.3.4 Telus stock Firmware: S5830DTLKI4_TLSKI4_Android_2.3.4
-Still no signal.
-Checked Rogers APN
-Dialed *#*#4636*#*# and forced CDMA preferred; also set band preference to north american band.
I'm lost!
Guys?

Is sim unlock number inside the nv_data for N7000?

Allrgight guys, question says it all. I have a galaxy N7000 that was originally for ClaroPR. I have downgraded the version from KL4 to KJ1 which can be unlocked using CF factoryRFS. Problem is that Helroz galaxy unlock apk is not doing it for me. So i extracted the nv_data to check if i could find the code inside but no luck at all. So if someone knows something about this issue ill be very glad. Just in case, after the downgrade the phone still shows baseband version KL2 which makes me think that maybe the reason....

Need expert advice to fix the phone. Friend of mine managed to break his device and now he turned to me for help. I don't have any history of the device but here are all details I can gather from about screen.
Phone is rooted and running custom recovery TWRP 2.5.X
Phone make model - LG G2 VS890 4G Verizon variant
Software - Simple ROM v1.1, kernal 3.4.0,
Build - LRX21Y

We wish to use this phone on any GSM network assuming Verizon version is GSM UNLOCKED.

To answer my own post, I tried flashing Cloudy G2 2.2 ROM along with KitKat baseband.

Try using the new Cellular South firmware thats out and flash it on the phone, its 6.0.1 MM. Go to Sammobile to download.
Oh man, I've been waiting for this firmware! I had a TXAR phone that I flashed the T-Mobile version to, and surprise(!), it locked my previously unlocked phone.
I use Net10 for prepaid service, and they use both sets of towers, so it was easy to switch sims, but I want to put an ATT sim back in for better coverage.
Thanks for letting me know about this.
OR you could try my method.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6/help/sim-unlock-t3374445

Note 5 SM-N920F (EU Variant?) Please help

Hello,
May someone help me please.. does anyone here flash a stock ROM Android 6 from different Versions of note 5 (N9208, N920C, N920G etc.) Does it work for your N920F? i want to upgrade my n920f note 5 to marshmallow or does anyone here have a stock ROM even just 5.1.1 can you please share it with me? please?
There is no such thing as the SM-N920F. The Note5 was never released in Europe. You should check your actual model by going to download mode.

Installed stock rom
Hey, i have bought the same note 5 SMN920F one month ago i was using a Ugandan simcard and it was fine, i really wanted to update it but i could not then i came to discover that it was originally a SMN920V, so i read that if i wanted to update it i have to install the original stock firmware SMN920V of which i did and it's working fine on wifi, i am in Uganda, so i tried inserting a Ugandan simcard then it shows me a massage "simcard is not from verizon wireless" so the simcard i have is not supported after i installed the stock firmware which i found here on sammobile. How can i overcome this ?and be able to use any other simcard as before

Yes by installing the original stock firmware SMN920V, you have locked the phone back to Verizon. Hence you must send it to an unlock technician or pay online for on a trusted website for it to be unlocked
