Help i want unlock sim galaxy s6 tmobile 6.0.1 - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6

hi friends, i need your help again, i have in my hands one galaxy s6 tmobile but one person install android 6.0.1 in this phone, i see one metod, installing one update of one samsung galaxy s6 of metropcs, but this metod no work in this phone, i can dowgrade to android 5.0.1?? or i can istall cwm in this phone?? any help thanks

Try using the new Cellular South firmware thats out and flash it on the phone, its 6.0.1 MM. Go to Sammobile to download.

Oh man, I've been waiting for this firmware! I had a TXAR phone that I flashed the T-Mobile version to, and surprise(!), it locked my previously unlocked phone.
I use Net10 for prepaid service, and they use both sets of towers, so it was easy to switch sims, but I want to put an ATT sim back in for better coverage.
Thanks for letting me know about this.

OR you could try my method.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6/help/sim-unlock-t3374445

WiFi Calling Firmware EE

Hello there XDA Members,
I have a massive problem and I hope someone in this forum is able to help me, I have an S6 Edge SM-G925F, I recently broke my phone and sent it to repair they repaired it and installed firmware that is non EE therefore I lost my WiFi Calling feature, I was like okay let me just flash the EE firmware unfortunately due to the bootloader they installed being newer then the one from the EE firmware it wont let me install (SW B: 2 K: 4 S: 4) this means that the firmware I am trying to install is older and samsung bootloader wont let me, now I want to know if there is a way I can:
1) Downgrade Bootloader or get it to accept this firmware
2)Have EE WiFI calling another way
3)Install EE WiFi calling onto the phone somehow
My phone is on version 6.0.1

Canadian firmware on a SM-N920T

can I flash Canadian firmware (SM-N920W8) on a SM-N920T from t-mobile?
I find it hard to believe nobody can answer this question.
I am with Rogers but purchased the phone outright as a refurb and would like to take advantage of their wifi calling but cannot with t-mobile firmware
How about changing the CSC and if that is possible, how to do?
guess not huh?
I'd love to get an answer to this question. I bought a Note 5 that was originally TMobile and now I'm using it in Canada on freedom mobile. The phone was working great until a few weeks ago when I tried to remove the root that was on it and now I'm stuck in a bootloop. I've tried to flash the N920W8 firmware from Canada but it fails... the backof the device says N920W8.. but when it connects to twrp it says its a N920T.
Guess I should try the 920T firmware with odin... ?

Did you wipe system?
i would like an answer as well. have a note 5 bought here in Canada that was branded tmobile. but unlocked. tried flashing a rom and have had nothing but problems with imei/csc/service with sim card ever since. flashed stock n920t firmware 3 times with 3 different up-to-date firmware files and it hasn't fixed the issue. oddly enough i found out the number on the phones back is actually n920v so it's been rebranded once already. apparently because all phone info and twrp say it's n920t . will flashing Verizon firmware fix this? also if it's already been done once why can't i make the system n920w8 instead of n920t? how was it done than? or can i flash international rom ? really need to get service/imei/baseband/csc in working order. i can't afford a new phone .... so many questions...

Flashing G920A to G920T

Hi all,
I bought the Galaxy S6 from AT&T when it came out, but switched over to T-Mobile from AT&T last year. Because of this, I have been unable to get any updates and have been stuck on Android 6.0 when the current release is android 7.0, so I've been thinking of flashing my phone. I was curious as to whether I'm able to flash my G920A with Tmobile's G920T rom? Would it work? And if so, after I flash it, would I be able to receive updates normally from T-mobile's servers, as I'm currently using a T-mobile sim, or would I have to flash every subsequent update?
Thanks
Doubtful, since AT&T has a locked bootloader. If the bootloader was unlocked you might be able to try.

You cannot flash a G920T firmware on a G920A. First off, Odin won't let you because the G920T firmware is only signed to be flashed on the G920T.
And even if you somehow rooted and used FlashFire to force the firmware onto your device, the firmware would brick the device, and without a USB jig or SD card port, the brick would be permanent.

I too am seeking answers on this as I have an SM-920A I brought over to t-mobile. Unlocked the phone, installed the t-mobile SIM and the phone works fine, except, it still has all the old ATT apps I no longer need or desire to be there AND without the T-Mobile apps installed, I cannot use their LTE Signal Booster. Is there any way I can install these t-mobile apps that would have come with the SM-920T load?

Just do this and remove the AT&T apps you don't want completely.

Note 9 flashing firmware

Im trying to change my sprint note 9 into tmobile carrier to get the most out of my device. Its unlocked using it with tmobile but just wanted to get the full potential. Ive read on the forums ive used odin before but want to know if i have to first flash tmobile or sprint ui then flash tmobile u. I understand i have to used the patched odin. But do i need to flash sprint or tmobile ui or just go straight to tmobile u.
You shouldn't have to install the T-Mobile version of the Note 9's OS just to get the most out of your T-Mobile Plan. As the T-Mobile version of the Note OS just has additional T-Mobile Bloatware. If you are having issue receiving the VoLTE reception on your device then I would suggest you speak with a T-Mobile Representative, who would be able to assist you in getting that feature on your device.

I'm guessing you're still on Oreo, otherwise it would've just automatically switched to the T-Mobile firmware.
There's a thread here with the T-Mobile firmware (N960USQU1CSB3). Flash it with patched ODIN.

Well the thing was it was a sprint note 9 and when i made a call it would switch to 3g. It wasn't tmobile it was just the fact that i needed to flash firmware u to get the tmobile radios. I ended up flashing sm-n960u1 no bloatware and now i get hd calliing, full signal, better downloads and uploads. So far so good only thing i was in android pie so i kinda downgraded to oreo i have a ota update security patch but not sure if it will mess up my phone.

Glad that it all worked out for you. I am surprised that the unlocked OS worked so well on a Sprint device as in the past Cell Provider Branded devices had hardware restrictions so that they could only be use on their network.

Yeah me too. I was a bit skeptical about it at first so i started doing sum research and found out about flashing firmware. Ended it up buying it and flashed the firmware and so far everything is good. Only thing i downloaded the oreo u1 idk if they have pie. But using sammobile to download firmware was just slow on my wifi.

I was actually in android pie with sprint software and it didnt change boot logo. Still showed sprint well eithery way i downgraded to oreo u1 the downloaded tmobile u1 android pie and got everything working better. No more bloatware or boot logo which is fine. Now i get full signal outside, wifi calling, and hd calling works perfect. Better downloads and uploads too on lte.

That's really weird. Pie has BYOD firmware which automatically does the carrier switching for you. Not sure why it didn't work for you when you put your T-Mo SIM in it.
I had a note 8 from verizon before i got the note 9 and on the 8 it switched from verizon boot to tmobile. Idk maybe just sprint doesnt have that. Another thing when i had the 8 i used it with metropcs even though its under tmobile network no metro boot logo but as soon as i put the tmobile tmobile bloatware downloaded automatically.

How did you do the flash, I am in the same situation. I need to flash my unlocked Note 9 to ATT firmware so I can use the HD features. Please share me a link to steps.

The thing about at&t is that they have a strict policy about hd calling i believe so the only way to get their hd calling and wifi calling is purchase a at&t note 9. Unless u wanna try flashing it with odin patched i used on mine. Dont have a note anymore but their is allot of post on odin flashing u can look up. Do ur research cant stess that enough
