I have a the HTC one and I paired it with My Motorola T505 (Bluetooth car adapter) Works great except I would like it to launch the Car mode app when I press the Bluetooth call button instead it launches the "Cyberon Voice Commander" Don't get me wrong Cyberon is interesting but as I am in the car I really like the Car interface of the Car app
How do I change which app gets called when I press on the Bluetooth call button on the car adapter?
Also when I have the Car app running and I press the voice call in app on phone it works great, but when I press the call button on Bluetooth it gets stuck on preparing. I am thinking it may be a conflict as it is calling both Cyberon and the Call feature in the car app.
Anyone else try this?
Please help.
Thanx

Is there an app that will allow you to choose between the device or a hands free Bluetooth headset?
One of my favorite features of the iPhone is that when you are paired up with a Bluetooth device, and you receive an incoming call, you can choose to answer the call with the handset instead of the Bluetooth device. I would LOVE to have that functionality on my Kaiser.
Thanks,
Luke
huh?
when you push the answer button on your headset it uses it. when you press answer on your phne it uses the phone...
at least that is what mine does.

Same here.
When I have it paired to my car that's not the case. If bluetooth is on around my car, (Range Rover) and I use the answer buttons on the phone, the car system still gets the call, not the handset. I have to turn bluetooth off to get the call on the handset.
T-mobile MDA Compact IV.
SwiftBL WWE 16mb v6.5
I have an 'iqua' fairly cheap bog standard bluetooth headset.
When I make a call with the headset connected it works fine. When I recieve a call, the ringing comes through the headset, but when I answer the call its coming through the speaker on the phone and not the headset. I have to hit options then hands free to get it working.
Very annoying when I'm driving because Tom Tom flashes back up before I even get the chance to enable the hands free...
Tried panosha's rom as well, same thing happens..
Anyone know an app or registry edit which will solve this problem?
Thanks in advance!
Bump. Should I just buy a different bluetooth ear piece?

I think yes. I have a Motorola bluetooth handsfree and it doesn't have this issue.
I have the same issue with my Jabra headset, a solution would be nice.
I'm having the same problem with a Sony headset.
You synchronize the headset and suspend the device. Once an incoming call arrives, the device wakes up, the headset rings (so it's working) but once you accept the call, it won't transmit the sound using the headset, you need to do it manually.
this sounds like a configuration/software problem, anyone has ideas, Please ?
with my jabra BT125 headset, if i press "answer call" on the phone, I'd have to go through menu and select handsfree. If I answer the call by pressing the button on my headset, then it routes to the headset. Have you try answering the call by pressing whichever button on your headset?

Yes i press the hardware button on my headset to answer it (which works). But it still doesn't enable the handsfree. Could this be related to the cyberon voice command ?
I've got a Verizon tab and am trying to connect to a Bluetooth headset so I can make video calls with Fring or something else with a little more privacy than using the speakerphone.
I can't get the tab to find the headset!
I have successfully paired with a Bluetooth keyboard, mouse, and the Jawbone Jambox. While the audio out on the Jambox works fine, the built in mic does not work for speakerphone calls with the tab either.
Anyone have any idea what I can do?
Refer to the headset menu to perform a hard reset on it (on a nokia headset this done by simultaneously pressing power and action buttons till it alternates its LED between red and green). Activate the bluetooth on the tab and make it discoverable. In bluetooth setting scan for devices till the headset appears.
Same Issue

I have a TMobile tab with the same problem. It connects to my btooth antenna, but not my two btooth headsets.
My headset bluetooth also facing the same problem. I read the manual and it say i have to press the answer button for more than 8 second as a hard reset to the headset. Later my tab can detect the headset.
You should read the manual and try to do hard reset to your headset
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
Can't seem to find out how to reset the headset. Nothing in the manual or Google (it's a Samsung HM1100).
It's weird - the Astro Bluetooth network shows the headset in its Bluetooth explorer but the GT will not even see the device to pair to.
Firstly you open bluetooth under setting, wireless & network. Press scan for bluetooth. Result, it will not show any bluetooth found. Press back button once only. And again open bluetooth setting. Then you will see all bluetooth devices already detected.
This is a bug. I happen all the time to me.
Please try it

Still No Luck.
So the double tap on the volume button shortcut does not appear to work when the phone is connected to a Bluetooth device. If bluetooth is just turned on it seems to work fine, but whenever it actually connects to a Bluetooth device like my car or headset, it does not work... it just turns the volume down on the Bluetooth. Does everyone experience this?
Bit a big deal but i can't snap a quick photo when I'm in the car.
Happy Sunday folks,
On my previous rooted lg g4, I was able to initiate tasker tasks remotely through my Bluetooth headset and using utter/eva e.g. while cycling, I double press the headset button, say a specific phrase and initiate a tasker task.
On my new Huawei p9, when I double press the Bluetooth headset button only the internal microphone is activated which doesn't work while cycling.
I've tried configuring the microphone type using sound about and smart Bluetooth headset to no avail. I've ticked the Bluetooth headset option on google now as well.
I don't understand the difference between your g4 and the p9.
May I kindly ask for your help with this?
Party on, Jonathan.
