Hi there,
A work colleague has just got an Xperia Z and I am very impressed with the device. I like the system sounds that Sony has used, especially the very discrete touch sound when you press a key.
I would like to use this on my Nexus 4. Would one of you with root be so kind as to make a dump of the files in /system/media/audio/ui for me?

if you give me a file for modding...you must give some information!
1) your file firmware
2) if this file contains MOD (like reboot option in power menu)
3) if it's an STOCK or CUSTOM ROM file and witch version of the CUSTOM ROM
Like that people who want the MOD can take it if I have already make the MOD for this one

It is the same app but it was updated since it was first included in earlier roms. You could download an older stock rom and extract the apk if you need an older version.

I didn't have a file manager in my stock rom. I do miss a Sony file manager that blends in with the rest of the UI... What region of rom did you have? Was it a branded rom or generic?
Sony never released his own file manager... You just used branded version of stock.

So far it's the best file manager. This is file manager which is worth the price. Others you can delete.

Cause there are some issue need be fixed for Flashtool, so FTF still need wait.

Perhaps that resides in one of the framework files... I haven't looked into it too well, but I do know that album and walkman apks look much like other versions...

Hi
Recently I flashed the media apps of Sony xperia z2 to my rooted z1 by installing the zip file using twrp recovery. However on porting I found that the Walkman app has gone off the app grid but is still there in the app list in settings>apps>all apps.
Also found that the movies app force closes. On going through the thread I came to know that there was a problem in the zip file.
Id like to know how to get the Walkman app back on to the app menu so that I can access my music again.thanks in advance
You'll need original media apps to make it works again. What is your firmware version? I can upload them if you need it.

I like creaing bootanimations for my Z1 (C6903) to make it looks cooler, but i cannot fingure out how to create one with sound. I have try to move a sound file into the bootanimation.zip file with the name "bootanim" but it didn't work. Can anyone help me ???

Bootanim.mp3 is correct name and format, yeap.
Check settings/sounds/volume maybe you have muted volume and that's the reason why can't you hear it.
