I think No becaouse I haven't read it in the features of the Rom
Sorry for my bad english man!
Ultimatum rom comes with viper 4 Android fx and I don't remember the other one, it may be beats audio. The rom already performs great with the sound. Why do you wanna try another audio improvement ? It might mess things up.

Ultimatum already has modded BEATS, with the latest sound libs/ Viper4FX (correct me if im wrong). Keep only one audio manager at a time.

Does this include turning noise reduction off by default? Been trying to find a way to do this on these ICS roms to fix the echo issue associated with nose reduction being on.
There is a separate thread in this forum for do it yourself modding phone.apk to get no -ascending ringtone. Do not see a need for separate one just for one rom. Thanks regardless. This should be done in the original thread and imo by the OP initiator/rom developer...of course some of those do not like the no-ascending ringtone and give all sorts of weird reasons not to..but then each one's choice. The mod thread for do it yourself was very handy.

Thanks mac231us.
Since the OP used my app to create the MOD he could have at least hit the thanks button in the thread above.

rant:
Can I ask why did you make this thread? Since all you've done is using the app from the other thread, why didn't you simply post your results there?
It's like taking criskelo rom, add in franco kernel, publish and call yours!
Seems its only for the fame and the thanks, and it shows since you didn't even mention the original thread, app or the person who actually developed it until later..
Sorry but that is disrespectful..

Youd be more likely to get a response if you post in the roms thread...

Basically this thread is about pros teaching noobs...not that i m noob cause before installing cm10 i had to practically salvage my phone from 0mb internal memory and restored it to fully functional OB...
in general i need some information about some plugins and kernel mods
Is cm10 equalizer better than beats. Cause i wanted beats on my ob but i read it only supports 2.3.x roms so.. is there any workaround..
Can i mod a cm10 kernel so that it uses much less ram and battery?
P.S. plz dont reply "there is a search box " cause i have already than that and thats why i m putting up this thread

hello guys, I'm a new user and my name is Adriano. I live in Rome.
I would like to know, from more experienced users than me, if I should install a custom rom, maybe that integrates sense 4, or is advisable to keep the official sense 3.6
In terms of browser performance and battery life would get some improvements with the custom rom?
I would be oriented to install the fshami's ROM , I read all the posts and it seems pretty stable and proven.
Tips?
Thanks in advance.
bye
AW: [Q] Custom ROM..yes or not?
I don't have that much experience as other users but since I'm using a custom ROM (for about a year) I recognized a better usage of battery and of course a big speed improvement. Our device is a lot better with them ROMs and we have good developers so I would try it

thank for your answer Rachorid,
I also think so, but I was considering installing a 3.6 ROM that perhaps it is more stable today than 4.0 and the battery drain should be better.
I thought of this: [ROM] [2201] XL 3.6 v1.9 [APM | EQS | More Languages | Tweaks | Mods | V6 Charged | Volume2Wake] by fshami
what do you think? I do not seem to have any bugs.
How do I install? Can proceed directly to version 1.9?
Thank you!
P.S. sorry for my poor english...
First you have to install custom recovery from here (CWM) or here (TWRP). If you already have a custom recovery then you can simply download and flash the rom you chose from recovery. There are many good guides here on xda. To flash recovery you can even use Lexmazter Multi Tool from here or Anders3408 AIO Tool from here. Big credits to both of them. Hope this helps
