Hi,
I am using Gingerdx v031b. But it turns itself off after the screen is turned off and the wifi is not active.
I did the setting in the Advanced section, but the problem continues.
I'm sorry my English is bad. :silly:
Thanks :good:

Hello there.
Recently istalled custom Froyobread in my Xperia X8, and after that i installed GingerDX. That means that now I have GingerDX. The situation is that I am trying to change the vibration option (Settings --> Sound --> Vibrate) from "Only in Silent mode" to "Always" but it changes back to "Only in Silent mode" at no reason. I've also noticed that while i receive an sms it does NOT vibrate in any occasion. Is there already a solution or the developers working on that?
Thanks in advance, sorry for my english.
If you come from other versions of Android to Gingerbread, this may cause bugs. So you must full wipe and install the ROM again.Remember to backup your things.

You mean if i come from OLDER version of Gingerbread to Gingerbread? Well, i did all kind of wipes the first time, including Full wipe and battery statistics wipe. Is there an easier way? The situation is that i've already installed a lot of apps that I need and it will take me a lot of time to install them again, except if you know a way to install the apps again at no time.
No,for example from Eclair, or Froyo, you must full wipe. And I don't think there is any other way to restore apps quickly. Not 100% sure, suggestions, people?

For vibration in messages and to calls go to Messages -> Settings -> Notification Settings and there you can see Vibrate settings section , just check the vibration , the vibrate pattern and vibration in call. Also check the 'vibrate always' from Sound section in Settings.

As I said in the first post, this is what I do, but when I exit to the main screen and return to Settings-->Sound-->Vibrate at the same time, I see that it has changed by itself to "Only in Silent Mode". It changes by itself, this is the problem.
Hey guys,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Mini with CyanMobileX, 2.3.8 Build 2 (See Original Dev) and the WiFi seems to have some problems. Here's what happens:
Click WiFi, WiFi turns on
Click <SSID>
Type password (WPA/WPA2)
Click Connect
WiFi icon turns grey with bars
No Internet Access
I tried:
Airplane mode + No ADB
Airplane mode
Normal + ADB
Nothing helps! Any solutions?
It's kernel problem, change your kernel.
How to change kernel?

Flash kernel, it's the only way. There is some kernel here.
dafaq kernel problem...there is no kernel problem in cyanmobile. STOP MISLEADING PEOPLE ~
when wifi is on, just do a reboot. if its working after boot, good for ur.
if not working, when wifi is on,boot into recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache. Then reboot.
Even if above step does not work, do a fresh install.
Even then, if wifi is not working, grab a logcat and attach in cyanmobile user assistance thread...will pass it on to squadzone.

Hey... speak it up...
CyanMobile have some missing modules in its kernel. So you need to stop misleading.

Could be your DNS settings are screwed up and over writing the router's settings. Download set DNS and uninstall it from within the app. This will reset your DNS to the factory default settings.

The changes in my link reverts the driver settings in JB back to same as ICS.
Even though the driver itself might be different in JB, but following the instructions will set the settings identical to the ICS settings. I do not experience disconnections or problems to connect to certain access points anymore. Let me know what happens after you tried it.
Also, the instructions will work only if you have rooted your phone. Keep in mind to mount the system folder as Read/Write

I have GSM/WCDMA ( Auto mode) in settings.
Try to reflash your ROM, I had this problem with the stock that came with the phone, but now I don't face any of these problems.
