You can't flash it.
Search for my tutorial on how to dump your ROM (it's in this forum).

add more than one email acount and scroll between the accounts themselves, when highlighted it gives the account name but its black writing on a dark red background so abrely readable and the white just looks out of place compared to having a black background through out...

I figured out how to fix this awhile ago, and posted the fix to the Vodafone forum. Basically I have overwritten the background "bubble" so that the text can clearly be read.
Attached is the manila file. Just use Total Commander to place this (unzipped) file in your Windows folder on the device.

I have used the black 'fix' theme rather than flashing my VF uk one (agreed the red is stunningly bad!).
Would doing a full flash rather than a theme give me any benefits, eg speed or memory usage etc ?

Well for me it wasnt just the bubble but i dont think a big white background suites the phone as its black and silver... and you cant have a black background or dark one because all the text is well, Black...
Well the official WWE Rom is newere than the vodafone one so probably has some fixes, can't say its any difference speed wise as its just as responsive and average memory is 50%...
the main advantage is that you get the HTC WVGA YouTube application back which vodafone took out. if you download the google one its only really crap bd quality clips... if you install any other youtube application from say the Diamond2 it breaks the video gallery as it messes up the filters...
but now im on an official HTC Rom its back baby

So it's possible to flash the standard HTC ROM to a Vodafone Pro2? If so I, and I'm sure many other Vodafone Pro2 owners would also love to know how to do it.

You use QMAT to generate a Goldcard (try some searching / wiki'ing) to flash other signed ROM's, don't ask me how because I haven't tried. I like to have the option to go back to my Voda ROM if need be...

Google translated from the italian LG mobile facebook page:
Software Version: V10d
*
Below the list of improvements:
*
Reduced the continuous refocus during the recording of a video
Increased the residence time of the focal point of using an autofocus camera manual
Improved some translations in Italian
Eliminated the occasional flickering in camera feature
Calibrating the headphones
Apply the latest security patches Google
Safe to assume it's the same we're all getting in this update?

I'm assuming you bought the EU version or imported though right? As UK version isnt out yet afaik.
Am getting the update here in the UK on my phone from Germany though. (I would imagine its down to the phone's country of origin, not the country you are in at the time)

do not know what additional security there is to add?
it looks quite secure now, for Google to get their AndroidOS acknowledge as secure for companies, if it can be out for almost 2 months and no one hacked the release.
do we have another PS3 lookalike OS? we need a secure key to boot our phone into developer mode , LOL

to keep this ontopic, no those previous security holes are all closed already in v10a,b and now even more in v. 10d.
so hackers need to come up with something new, or LG need to leak a developer v08c edition so those that want to play with it opened, can actually open it, although no more updates for us.
please LG, leak a v08c firmware, we can update with
No V10d for Austria at the time

Thats just the CPU working, like any modern device.
Got to remember there is a quad core sat under the hood. The good thing is that they have situated the CPU in the top of the phone rather than the bottom like it was on my HTC Sensation, means you dont get a hot hand, and the CPU is able to radiate heat better.

How can you not purchase the phone over a silly problem as that?? anyways rooting is an option also wait for htc to update it
It's not a dealbreaker to me but I understand that it can be for someone as it takes away some screen real estate. For the same reason software buttons are a dealbreaker to so many people.
Because its annoying and takes up real estate on a screen that is only 4.7". I'm confident it will be fixed via software update. But if would sure piss me off until then. Assuming this thing ever gets released I the US... I'll still buy

Both of these. It's annoying as hell and I don't want to "hack" my phone to get rid of it.
I'll wait and see if the US models have the option to get rid of it at launch. If not, different phone for me (I'm not going to wait for a software update that could "possibly" happen).

Honestly... If this was the only new phone coming to the market this year your argument might make sense. I dunno his opinion but for me. I like having a consistent menu button and not having onscreen buttons... Now when you have this and the galaxy s IV among other phones coming out or currently out... And like some of the stuff with each, and one has something that you know aggravates you, it could be enough to send you to a different phone.

I am the one who made the mod to remove that menu button on the screen and reverted back the option to map it on the back button. Apparently it's just a bug and they did not remove it. So expect it to be fixed/back on the next standard update when the phone is already released globally.

Trust me with the screen as big as it is you end up with the same usable space with the menu bar as the Nexus 4 and I am sure a firmware fix will be coming in the future and/or apps will be updated to match the google guidelines (facebook are you seeing this!!!)

Where did you hear it's just a bug and you expect it will be fixed in the next update?
Like I said I was the one who made that mod in the development section. Obviously I already know how it functions/why it's not showing up in the menu/why it's not working in the stock ROM. And the whole code was in there and intact. It was just not updated so it's not showing itself in the menu options.
If I translate the code in english language it goes like this.
Back menu option: Hey are you "HTC One-debug"?
HTC One: No I am "HTC One"
Back menu option: Sorry then you can't use me I'm only available on a device named "HTC One-debug" not "HTC One"

I asked about where did you hear the information about the fix in the next update not kiddie speak for explaining how you fixed the issue.
1. Properly designed apps that use Google's design framework will have an in-app menu button. So no black menu bar. Vast majority of apps now won't require the black bar.
2. HTC got rid of it on the One X when user feedback said they wanted it gone. I see no reason to assume they won't do it again if enough people say they don't want it.
Like I said it's just a minor bug. HTC just skipped updating this one piece of code for it to work on the production units.
Meh! I give up! lol

He was merely explaining how the bug worked to point out that mapping Menu to Long-Back option is, actually, meant to still be there. HTC simply forgot to make sure that scripts in all places were talking about the same device.

Flaming isnt necessary really
People use their phone differently, its the same reason why theres never a "best rom" or a rom with the "best battery life"
And to the other comments, its likely not to be patched so that they have more reasons to sell a "developer" version
I may have a bad news related on HTC to bring back button remapping options.
Just saw engadget chinese mention in their HTC One review about that Google MIGHT be the force behind that lead to HTC sudden removal the remapping option from HTC One's newer ROM because Google insisting the menu button must somehow be 'observable' on sight.

I thought that language packs are baked into the system. I have a German razr HD but prefer the english system settings over the German ones. I find the German expressions for some of the settings rather confusing. I'd be more concerned about the phone working properly on our phone bands...
I asked already seven sellers on eB*y for German Language Settings.
Four sellers answered "No", two sellers answered "Yes", one did not know for 100%.
So i am a bit confused if German Settings would work or not...
I am on T-Mobile. Should be work in Germany with Moto X.

Guten tag,
I just checked it for you...indeed there are only 4 languages coming with the phone, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. I am sure if you can install German package on it. But most apps today have German. Viel Glück!
Thanks for checking!
I found some apps (more local and set local) to change language to German - if it will be works on Moto X.
In case English will be also ok for me.

From the point that the Moto X is currently only available in the americas, it makes sense that onle the 4 mentioned langauges are on the phone. On the other side, Android usually comes with all languages baked in (I have a ton of languages in my German 4.1.2). Considering that language packs are universal of an Android release, it should at least be possible to extract German from an interneational 4.2 rom and some how add it to the Moto Xs rom.
I'd love to check out the Moto X myself, but I already have a 4.7 inch razr HD with my self made Tasker skip setup. Actually I consider getting something bigger. i toyed around with a 6.2 inch Huawei Mate at a local store and currently I think it's too big. So the Galaxy Note 3 with a 5.5 inch screen could hit my sweet spot. i just have to wait until I can check it out locally.
But 1.5 years ago I thought that anything bigger than 4 inch was too big...
Sorry from drifting away from the topic...
