Yea, I'm having the same problem.. pulling down to refresh the feed. Don't have any battery management apps installed either... No idea why it's acting funky (and yea, I have enabled update w/ wifi and data)
*edit*
After eying my One for over 1hr30, Blinkfeed finally updated! However, the update was a few minutes late (said it updated at 7:33, but did not carry 5 or 6 stories that were available at the same time (did a manual update to test)
Try waiting 1hr30 and let me know how it goes! Do wish it updated more often...
I found this on htc.com
Can I change the refresh schedule in HTC Blinkfeed?
QUESTION:
Can I change the refresh schedule in HTC Blinkfeed?
ANSWER:
The phone automatically refreshes every 2 hours on mobile data network or hourly on Wi-Fi. While the phone is charging and connected to Wi-Fi, it refreshes every 15 minutes.
You can refresh HTC BlinkFeed anytime by pulling down the top of the screen. Pull down to refresh is now part of the many gestures supported on HTC Sense 5, such as the Mail app.
why is it on the setting for blinkfeed, Auto refresh is disabled and locked only using wi-fi? I want to auto update it via mobile data. Any suggestions?

Ever since I got a new u-verse modem, my HTC weather widget thinks I am in Illinois when I live in Ohio. Tried turning on GPS, deleting widget, power cycling modem/phone. Google location is also on. Anyone have any suggestions? This is very annoying. Thanks.
Edit: recast also thinks I'm in buffalo grove :banghead:

If you go under location settings you should see "Use wireless network" checked. If you uncheck that it will stop using that method. I am not sure if it will still work the way you want it to but its worth trying.

Try using Accuweather. It's easy to set up, and very accurate with locations.

Within the Google now weather card there is a settings tab on the right, directly across from your location name (3 dots) ....under "weather location" what do you have checked?

Hmmmm, Are you stock? Custom rom? If so what rom? Are all location settings on (uses more battery)? How far is your work from your home? Do you spend significant time at home/ work? How much have you used your phone at home/work to search location related things or stuff with maps? How long have you been using Now? Basically Google now is guessing where home is and work is based on typical patterns for most people (ie work is 9-5ish etc). The more you use Google location based services (search and maps) the more accurate it should become. Sorry for all the questions.
For what it's worth my experience has been hit and miss (though I'm in Canada and that might have something to do with it)

Not sure either...perhaps it has something to do with the last update? I have had issues with it lately as well but I updated to a jellybean rom around the same time as the Google now update came out and was thinking it might be rom related but maybe it was the update... I don't know if uninstalling the updates from settings/apps would make a difference or not, I haven't tried that yet .
Just tried that. Doesn't fix it either. Ugh

My phone can not determine my location over WiFi or mobile internet. It does not work with the HTC weather widget on blinkfeed (just constantly shows no weather data available and annoys the **** out of me) Google maps or Google news and weather. All settings have been configured the only thing I haven't tried is GPS.
Im really annoyed as location apps were great on my s3 and my last HTC phone the hd2.
Anyone suggest what might be causing the problem? I wouldnt mind manually typing my location in but that doesn't alter (or at least I can not find a way to) the blinkfeed weather widget
Any help appreciated, I have had a good look through this forum so sorry if this is duplicated elsewhere.

I did have a problem in the first 24 hours of use - no location showing. Eventually I checked all locations settings were <ON> and then ran maps. For the first time I saw the GPS icon flashing and I did get a location.
Hope that helps....
Yeah a hard reset sorted it. Don't know what happened the first time, all settings were exactly the same as the second time I set it up, weird.

I had the same problem. Made sure location services were all checked and then just soft resetted and it finally appeared.
Disable the Fast Boot option in Settings. Then reboot.
Worked for me.

I've tried all above, but no success.
It worked for 10+ days, then last 4 days I only get "MY LOCATION" or "CURRENT LOCATION" in BF or Weather app.
It was very good first ten days, and extremly precise. I'm still on .13 version.
Anybody still having this issue or similar??
It's a known Google problem with about 6 threads here discussing the problem. Google is working on a fix.

My Blinkfeed only has United States option
Im in the UK and I am pretty sure my One is an import. It only has United States in the Blinkfeed drop down so I get no UK topics and services.
Does anyone know a solution?
Much appreciation

I had tried to make my Keyguard go off when I'm at my home wifi, and it simply doesn't work. I'm using tasker and I'm using the same profile as I did on my SGS2 and that was perfect but the HTC One is a bit more trouble some with this setting. If anyone has done this and got it to work successfully please include it. Much appreciated to sharing your time.

I am having the same problem with tasker, I am gonna try older version of tasker!!
I just started using Tasker... and it really works funkily. I have used Tasker itself and Secure Settings, both, to disable the keyguard when I am connected to my WIFi... And sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes while I am using the phone and hit the Android Home button, it actually goes to the Pattern input lock screen.
I am using CM10 with Action Launcher on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus 16gb GSM
I looked at my gear watch earlier tonight & the temperature was off by over 10 degrees.
When I clicked on the weather, it hadn't updated in 4 hours. How do you get it to update or refresh more often??
Gear manager, my apps, settings for weather. There you can change the auto refresh.

Yea, I found that setting after I posted that but it doesn't work right.
I have it set to update every hour & right now it hasn't updated in almost 5 hours.

You need to enable locaction services in your smartphone. Otherwise the weather is not updating, even if you set a fixed location. Don't ask me why, but that's what I found out.
You should not disable (or delete) Weather Widget on your main device. Gear's weather depends on it.

It is enabled & I haven't disabled the weather widget.
I think it must have been an acuweather problem, this morning it started working fine........
Yes. In the accuweather widget, you can go to update interval and change it to hourly. The default is set up to every six hours I think.

The biggest key, I think, is that you must use one of the native weather widgets on your phone. If not I don't think an auto update will take place regardless of your other settings.
I could be wrong though.
