Downloading.. So excited
Edit: Works great, fast and smooth. Same bugs of AOKP and CM 10.1 (camera recorder)
Camera should work. Camcorder doesn't right now. I don't have the XT925 but camera works on XT926 version.

Both.

I may have been confused by your question lol. GSM and 4g, what did you mean by that? If you have a XT926 then you want the other pacman thread.

Hi, just a question, the ROM will be dead or just leave for a while, because is a great job what you've done here T.T
Bjkolly ported the ROM. There was a disagreement but I THINK he has decided to continue working on this eventually.

well i'll se if i can get the rom with a friend that test it the other day, and i´ll be waiting, because this is a really good job, thanks for let us taste it ;D
If you guys haven't seen, I'm doing PACman for the Atrix HD from source. I've been doing a bit of experimenting with toolchains, compiler versions, etc, but I'm almost done with that and when I am I'll start making builds for you guys as well as the rest of the Razrqcom family. Not an eta, but I'd like to have the Razrqcom builds by Sunday.
I have to look into why building the system image fails with gcc 4.7, errors out on e2fsck with bad inode size -- other than that, everything builds with 4.7, and since 4.7 & 4.8 is the future I'd like to get it working....I might just revert back to gcc 4.6 since it works. Once I finish messing with that I'm going to look into compiling a custom toolchain for us -- I've seen threads where they've compiled the toolchain to be more optimized for their particular platform and I'd like to look into that, after that I'll start on builds for you guys.
Pacman is back up on DH.New build... It wasn't actually posted by bk so I'm not sure if its being maintained by him, but credit is definitely given.

this rom makes my eyes hurt
why did you make EVERYTHING so small?
it doesn't seem natural for font/images to be so small in scale on this 3.7 inch screen
any way to undo this?
also: wifi tethering doesn't seem to be working

Change the DPI to 240. There's something in the settings to help guide you through this to prevent the play store from going out of whack.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to be a little more respectful. These devs give you a product for free in their own free time, so show a little appreciation. It's one thing to report problems and/or bugs, but it's another story when you come off sounding like a jerk. You've been a member for quite some time, so you should know this already. Just my 2c

Just a quick question, would this feasibly work on US Cellular like the gs2 + gs3 roms did with some basic edits to the apns, eri.xml, and build.prop? Obviously this is not in flashable form just a simple innocent question.

So... I realized something rather dumb on my part today.
I've been having you guys test just the ROM. Didn't dawn on me you probably need a boot.img because the ramdisk has probably changed, even if the kernel didn't.
Give me a few to get something together.
Looks like I found the ROM I'll be flashing in a month when i upgrade.
Edited - removed the next test. Wrong image name.
Work on hold pending Cyanogen's repo update. According to him it's fully working on T-mo so shouldn't be long before we have it working on Sprint.
New builds based on Cyanogen's versions just uploaded.
Need someone to test and provide feedback ASAP please!

single bloat free rock stable rom. This is the FIRST rom of its kind
with a hybrid framework consisting on cm10.1, AOKP and AOSPA. What makes
PACman unique is this perfect blend of all of these. Be informed PACman
is not a "git cherry-pick blahblah yeee i am a dev donatezzz me" rom.
It took a LOT of work of thinking behind to merge the frameworks in the
right order.

great! going to Flash ASAP!
How stable is it? Is it similar to cm 4.2.2 lag and speed?
Flashing anyways lol, will report back, thanks
EDIT: Flashed Bytecode's kernel with this rom (VanquishKernel). Just like cm10.1, it gave a boost in speed and lag reduction. Also, Voice Search isn't working. Amazing rom so far, can't wait for the more updates

Just in case anyone else wants a link..
Also, voice search DOES work, but only via widget it seems, not keyboard button.

good work, I'll try it
Same issues as cm10.1 but you get insane customization. Lag is way better with the kernel. No camera preview.

It's still worse but a lot less noticeable than cm10.1 without the kernel. Also the pictures it takes turn out super over exposed.

No nav bar. Please someone show me how to get it back. Cannot find it in the settings.
You guys will get a lot better support if you ask the developer in the original thread.

I just did a full wipe without restoring system data. On the first boot pie was enabled at the bottom. Setting the navigation bar to 100% in hybrid properties disabled pie and had the navigation bar show up like normal.
It may be possible that some code was changed in AOSPA that's causing that bug on your phone?
When you have a chance, take a nandroid backup, factory reset, flash PAC and see if the issue persists.

FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK
THE DEV TEAM IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE YOU CAUSE TO YOUR PHONE
** Please be aware some builds may not work, and be patient with the Vanir team as they continue to sort stuff out **
DIRECTIONS
Boot to Recovery
BACKUP
Wipe System/Data/Davlik/Cache
Install Rom
Install Gapps
Wipe Davlik/Cache
Profit!
°°For those flashing custom kernels°°
Be aware- Vanir includes a script that enables their own kernel tweaks. This script does not play well with flashing custom kernels. The solution!
Flash ROM
Navigate to- /system/etc/init.d/
Delete the file- 00kernelcompat
Reboot to recovery
Flash kernel
Profit!
You can also open the ROM zip on your PC before flashing and remove the file from the same directory then flash the ROM and you're good to flash the kernel.
**If you dirty flash between nighties, DO NOT wipe system or data before flashing the ROM. It will wipe gapps and the ROM install script won't be able to restore them**
That said, a clean flash is always recommended

Try this out everybody. It is super smooth and stable, plus it has a built in updater for the nightlies. I've tried them all and so far, I really like this one. Choose the nightly build and of course, jfltespr.

I was thinking the same thing, so I tried erasing the 'vzw' from the vinir link and replaced it to 'spr' & it worked...
