That's good to know Stock & Firefox work with this fix and no JB isn't supposed to run Flash at all by the looks of it thats why you can't find it in the Android Market
I know a few browsers it does all flash using the original flash player not the one modified on here. The browsers are the Boat Browser, Ninesky browser, UC Browser for tablets and I think the Maxthon browser as well work with flash browser but none of them works launching it to full screen.
I know for a fact I did use to own a Sony Xperia V which had an 4.3 inch screen with Jelly Bean which works when launch to full screen so I know it the problem trying work with a 5 inch screen is the problem.
Gold work thanks
Would this work with Galaxy s4 stock browser?? (since Samsung modifies the browser)
Afraid of flashing this, as might bootf**k my device...
for 4.1x
use
flash player 115.58
with boat browser set to automatically launch
you will have full screen and full screen control
enjoy !!

TV SHOWS STREAM (v3.2 or +) DOES FULLY SUPPORT MOTOROLA XOOM
THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR HELP, SPECIALLY TO "Xezuka" XDA MEMBER
------------------------------------
Hi,
We have been working on "tv shows stream" android aplication and we whoul'd really like to know if it is working properly under Motorola Xoom using android 3.0 stock .
This device is not being sold yet at Europe...and we can not wait to know if the aplication will work fine
You can find the full thread of our aplication here :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=903351
The lite version is free and you can find it on market by searching "TV Shows Stream"
Thanks in advanced for the testing, we will really apreciate.
what does you app do? is it just a streaming site client?
I thought it relied on flash support? If so, it no work ie until flash for honeycomb is available.

Not exactly.
I dont want to advertise the aplication here and thast why i didnt say a description, but basically the aplication searchs over internet for tv-shows links capables to be played directly on your device, with full screen support using megavideo, frogmovz, karambavidz and other hosting services. The search results are shown in a intuitive and easy to use interface.
You can find a detailed description in the xda thread of the aplication:

You are right, my mistake, i thught it was already availeable. So I will have to wait a bit more, thanks for the information.
Maybe I should close the thread and re-open it after flash has been released.
The app is now starting up, looks, and runs great. I've been waiting for this! Android 2.2~ version on my Droid X is amazing. Just waiting for Flash...

Just tried it out on both my Xoom and Captivate.
I am pretty sure things are working on the Captivate as they should, so used that as a guide. Hehe Test videos played through each host, low Res, but no issues.
OK.. on the Xoom the UI seems fine and works. Problems come up when playing the videos. When playing a Megavideo link the MV interface comes up with no player controls, nothing else happens. When trying Frogmovz or Karambavids.. I get a black screen with no video controls. Touching the center of the screen has triggered play/pause, but I just seem to get audio and no video is shown.
I tried out playing Megavideos through their website and that worked fine for me.

Hi,
The same problems have been reported by using unoficial flash version on htc evo. The solution was uninstall flash and reinstall from market.
Are you using the leaked version of flash 10.2 right?
It should be availeable on 18th on android market for all devices and it should fix the sound with no video issue.
Thanks for the infor, it wil really help us.
I have same issue with Xoom also. Works great and love the app on my fascinate.

Hello,
I have a paid for version of TV Shows Stream, it works on my Nexus One thanks very much for that. I admit that I probably never use it, but I like it and it works most of the time.
I have a Xoom, with v3.0.1 and the leaked Flask 10.2 APK. At this time, flash content via the stock browser seems to work fine but TV Shows Stream does not seem to work properly. All browsers come up with a blank window more or less, I tried a few megavideo and karambozworths.
Yes, it works great on the Nexus One but on the Xoom with the leaked 10.3 flash you can hear the sound but no video. Hope you get it working because it would be great to watch it on a larger screen!
I probably wouldn't be too concerned for now as the leaked version is having issues in other browsers as well. I'm not sure if that'd be because they don't see the leaked version or what... but as with the others, the app works fantastically on my Droid X but has no Video or Audio for the Xoom running the leaked Flash 10.2
Ill update again when its officially released March 18th and reinstalled.
TV Shows Stream full is my fav app and I use it daily on my Droid X with no issues. Cannot wait for xoom compatibility which as previously mentioned should be resolved when the official flash file is available on market March 18 if I read correctly. I will def uninstall the leaked file and load the official 10.2 release and report back on its usuability on my xoom. Great app btw dev. -

I have the Flash leak for my Xoom and I concur the app opens and you can see the list of shows but just cannot play the video (or see the video controls), just a blank screen.
However, I emailed myself a link for a show (from within your app) and then opened the link in the email with my broswer. The video played fine with no problems. Thus I assume when the official Flash 10.2 is released this week we will be able to load the video from right within the app - as I do on my Droid X.
BTW -great app - best money spent on an app. Keep up the awsome work
tv shows
I use the TV shows application all the time on my xoom. Right now u just have to email yourself the link for the video you want to play. I copy and paste the link in dolphin hd browser. Just make sure dolphin hd is in desktop mode. I doing this I can stream video fine, thanks for the great app also I have the leaked version of flash installed.

Hi
Is a usefull workaround but we have the intention to offer a better solutions.
We are almost sure that with the official release of flash player will work as it works most of devices, but we are already working in alternative solutions.
We have already a working solution in some video servers, karambavidz and Loombo (loombo will be added in next update) will have an option for watching the videos using any of the player you have installed on the phone, even native android player. FastForward and RW completelly working and very smooth playback, as not flash player will be used on those videos. More info soon, we are hard working right now on it.
Hi
Can someone uninstall the leaked version of flash and install the official 10.2 from market to chec if the problems still persist? Thanks in advanced.
Yes Haze, I've got the paid version and the behavior is the same. On the Xoom, the leaked version was 10.2.155.67 and todays version is 10.2.166.12 so I suspect very minor changes.

In the next update, Karambavidz video links will be able to be watched in the native android player or any other player , without the need of flash player.
You can also email yourself the link and open it with the dolphin HD broser as a temporary workaround, it has been reported to work fine.
We are working on it , thanks for the testing time.
I dont know if any of you guys have played with the new flashback honeycomb or not but the latest update as far as i could see, is just that it has a flashplayer apk now. So of course if you have your honeycomb setup beautifuly on your gtab.............why would you want to reflash it just for that right? anywho i just tried it in illuminate and it works perfectly here's a link to JUST the modded flash player. it fixed and has now made honeycomb my daily driver
http://fileape.com/dl/veumV7066g6YWyO1
as flashbacks post says in the dev section
"(a4.2)
Added a EXPERIMENTAL FlashPlayer by zebwen. This unfortunately does not fix flash video playback on most sites (YouTube and BBC iPlayer do not work for example, but the small videos on the Yahoo news website do). What this DOES fix, is most other Flash applications, such as web games etc. Using this patched version of Flash, Kongregate Arcade works correctly, as well as other apps such as Zoodles Kid Mode that use flash within the application to play games."
or just install the normal flash player from the market and use opera that works toooo
huh? in flashback honeycomb simply by using opera and flash 10.3 I can get all the flash videos? I thought flash 10.3 was not working on honeycomb?
I have not flashed to any honeycomb alphas yet strictly due to flash video issue.
works with just installing normal flash and using opera, which means its a webkit issue, mind you the video has tearing in it because of drivers (so im told) but definately working
I use the matket flash 10.3 and the dolphin HD browser and it plays all flash videos like youtube on desktop mode and all flash games, facebook apps too. Most browsers out there dont support flash idk why, though i know the default browser supports flash too but lacks add ons anf so on. Using CMT 7
this is about honeycomb dude...not everything else
Dolphin Browser HD works, but need to set the user agent at IPad in setting
It worked for me when watching BBC video.

Are there browsers that do allow flash to be played in the background? Or is it because I'm not using the android version of flash? (I'm using a custom version to allow hulu to play.) Is it CM7's fault?
If you can play flash in the background please tell me what browser you use, what kind of flash (market official or custom) and if you use cm7. I'm loving it over vegantab but ill go back if I have to...

If you spend $800 on a moto xoom you will still have this problem. Go out and buy an ipad and you will still have this problem.
What you need is a multi-tasking rom. I think I've seen a video of that once. Can't remember what device.

While it may not be exactly what you want, you could use Pandora. I created a "Final Fantasy" channel and it played similar music as that site...and in the background, too.

Just download a second browser. Use one for browsing and the other for streaming.
Opera keeps flash playing when you are on other TABS in the browser at least. That is as good as it gets on android. Wait for windows 8...
I need the same except Uc,Brave,Firefox,X browsers.
Running CM9 Alpha 2, been running for months with no problems. Today I was trying to watch a flash video from a site that worked perfectly for me for months, but it was giving me a wierd aspect ratio. So I decided to download Chrome and see how that worked. I did, but it said that flash was not installed. So I went to the Market, but found out that adobe is not letting anyone download flash anymore. So I found an apk of the flash player, installed that, and now flash does not work in ANY app, all I get is the little blue lego box. I went to Titanium and restored a backup of Flash Player, but that still won't work. I have since tried two different apk's of the latest Flash player I found, and none of them are working at all. I have tried every browser I can think of, Chrome, Opera, Dolphin, ICS+, Skyfire, none of them work at all now.
Any suggestions?
Quick update: Flash IS working for things like ads and banners, just not for video. I also saw online that Adobe AIR might be the problem, so I uninstalled that, but with no help.
Another update: I tried my MLB app, which uses Flash player for video, and it plays video just fine. So it seems that Flash video is just not working in ALL browsers....
Flash doesn't work well in the stock or Chrome browsers. I found that if I'm tryin' to watch something to do with Flash, I need to use either Firefox or Dolphin for Tab - I use the latter at the moment, cuz it seems to work pretty well.
Granted, I have an older version of Flash (one that the Market never updated anyway, so it must be as new as it can be). Might be something to consider - install Dolphin or Firefox, THEN install the Flash APK, and you should be able to have it work from there. At least, that's what I did.
I had a problem with BBC I player but when I went into ics browser and changed the settings from Android to desktop it worked, might be worth a try .
Checkout the PUFFIN web browser... turn of force gpu though here's a good site to use it on

all you need to do is download the modified flash player installer from XDA, and use your favourite browser (i'm using dolphin and dolphin jetpack).

That is an issue with your MX player install then. It worked just fine for me. Have you tried just firing up MX player and opening the file? If you dont see the file then go to settings, list, video folders. Also consider just a swf player app.

I'm on 4.4.2 and yes. "works" in that it is a little buggy but that's not due to really to this hack, Flash on Android has been dodgy for a long time, sites crash etc, but its not 4.4.2 fault but that the version of flash is many versions behind, the most recent available on Android is 11.1.115.87 whilst the most recent 11.9.900.170.
Hulu isn't working as it checks the platform and decides to reject. I use BBC for HD and its very dodgy reliability, works best on my N10 and won't work on my N7 2012.
