Hey guys i am facing a problem or may be a setting config change.
The problem is that I am able to charge S2 or nexus or any other usb chargable phone through my laptop in sleep mode(with usb power on during sleep in lenovo laptop) but I am not able to charge my xperia Z.
Anyone else facing the problem or has solution for this problem, it would realy help me as during my long travels I charge my phone with my laptop only and with laptop in sleep mode i am able to charge it for longer duration.
Suggestions and solutions please....
actually sony doesnt support usb charge as fast as all other so it is not problem of laptop r and configuration
So any possible solution or any app ?
I have a rooted phone...

I need a positive answer before I do that.
One question is it possible to disable USB charging? As it may reduce battery life(may be I am wrong) when battery is already charged.

Hey guys,
I faced a problem when i'm pressing on the screen on one item it press 3 or a full row on my screen from itself ! is there any help in that, thats happened after upgrading to the latest version [My Device not rooted]
If you are still under warranty use it.
If not figure out if it is a software problem or a hardware problem. Do a factory reset after backing up all your data. If that worked it was a software problem. You can then restore all your data.
If that didn't work you need to get your screen replaced.

Is that happening when your phone on charge?
Are you using the original charger?

Repair it with Sony Update Service.
Updated 4 days back
Build no 10.1.1.A.1.253

Try a factory reset. But before that check if rebooting solves the problem. I had a display issue which was fixed by a reboot.

not telling you to update, "repair it"
Using different chargers is the cause.
Use the stock charger with stock cable.

I have the same issue, and I don't use the stick charger, I imagine the problematic chargers aren't correctly grounded or have some EMI or ESD issues. I haven't tried the stock charger yet to see if it solves it.
Poor move on Sony's part though not making the phone able to handle a poor quality power source correctly.

before i used to charge using the car charger. at my cousins place i used a htc charger for 4-5 days.
from later on im using the stock charger itself..
did i restart .. no use..
same issue... i selected show touch from development options..
im able to see the responses.. this occurs only sometimes , may be every 7/10.
just a single touch and the whole line gets multi touched.
for ex- i try to type "hie" , i get something like "ghjuioert" some times even bigger messages.
no difference even after a rebot.
should try factory reset. (long process backup download etc ).
any other options ?..
im using the stock charger...
tell me how to repair it...
With pc companion or sony update service.

Hi dude !
I remember to have this problem on my Xperia Neo.
While charging the touchscreen was unresponsive like touching on one side was like touching on the other side, apps opening randomly, lots of bugs. But didn't happened always, only sometimes.
I never figured out what could be and I don't use it anymore.
Maybe you have a faulty unit

No.
They broke my signature...
No, it wont cause any damage. Also, leaving it connected to the charger overnight will do nothing. You can't overcharge a smartphone battery, they are protected against it.

You can read this info too on the XSP's user manual pdf, sony stated about the battery there
Just make sure you use original plug

Battery won't be damaged by much while doing this. It would just be slower charging if you're using the normal 5W wall plug, or even see the battery draining while charging through connection with computer (via USB).
im gonna say yes

Even with the 1000mhz bug, the battery wont drain when charging even from the lower powered usb port
You could try and use another battery for a while and see what happens. If that diesn't help i think you should go back to stock and see what happens.
If these answers don't help, then i guess that your charging port is broken and you probably should unroot the device so you can use the waranty...
I went to a samsung centre and bought a new battery and a new charger and it is working fine right now thanks for your answers people .

Certain ROMs or versions of CWM have a problem charging the phone while off (happened to me, phone boots up but doesn't have enough energy to stay on). Just leave it connected to the charger and with something pressed on to the power button; after a while it will have enough energy and you can reflash a stock or proper kernel.

Someone told me to use auto charger to charge the battery. Like you said it might be the rom issue that preventing my tx from charging. Now my tx flash red led when i press the power button indicating the battery is totally drained and power bank wasnt able to charge it. I will charge the battery via auto charger or buy a new battery. Your tip didnt work, i leave my device charged with rubber band pressing down the power button for 4 hours.
