App opening/closing animation - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This time around, Sense 5 isn't bad, and is pretty smooth. But in comparison to my old nexus 4, I miss the stock android opening/closing animation for apps etc. I installed carbon rom for pure aosp but it isn't near the stability of full sense. Is there any way tp keep sense but just change the app transitions? I used nova launcher but it didn't fully change them and was slightly laggy. Sense 5 with the aosp app opening and closing animations and smoothness of the animations would be perfection. Possible?

In the TrickDroid 5.3.0 rom you can get stock animations when you flash the tweaks zip after installing TrickDroid.

No not that. I would go though aroma again to check but no way. Too much freezing for me. Maybe I'm just crazy and that option isn't actually there lol. Could be in the theme.zip. I flashed both so can't remember which it would be in.

Alright thanks ill flash both and check. Im updating trickdroid versions right now haha

You only need to download the ROM. The other links are just to the threads about each of the components that went into the ROM.

Mmm, I usually snag an avg 1500+ with Sense(less) Revolution but perhaps that is soley due to chad's kernel. Looks nice so far

Especially Quadrant, which has [nearly] zero correlation to how the phone will perform in real life. Unless you are using it as a gaming device...

I could care less, but it was requested so I posted the results. That's honestly the first time I ever ran a benchmark on my phone. Lol

Well, it's nice sometimes to have an idea of how the ROM runs compared to others...
I notice a difference when one runs at 36 MFLOPS vs 30.... I like quadrant because it passes the time lol.

And rather than asking "So does it run real fast real good?", I requested the accepted, repeatable standard that serves as an imperfect benchmark.
i always felt that quadrant was to easy to be swayed by certain tweaks or hacks thatdont give the real world performance for what the chart would show that it would, i would like to know though, how does this rom run?
I got an error trying to flash this rom.
it wouldn't boot at all but after trying to write boot it says,
E: not enough space on device, then something else but didn't see it quick enough. I thought something was wrong but I rewiped everything again and flashed myns rls4 just fine?

Has anyone else had any errors flashing this ROM. I just wiped and reflashed with no problems. Just out of curiosity, do you have an SLCD or AMOLED model?
amoled, I've had it since may. if I remember right I tried flashing an older version of this and had a similar error. it's just strange for that to happen. never had problems flashing anything except an experimental version of cwm, got called into work so ill try and do it someone later this week

Nice Looking ROM, Flashing This Now. Will Report Back If I Run Into Any Bugs.
ok I tried flashing again, complete wipe, E: not enough room on device, E: can't write boot, E: error on line 88. I have no idea what's going on. every other rom I've dl'd works except for this one, it's weird

Anyone Experience This?

I Recently Went To Remove A App From My Home Screen & When I Did I Noticed The Same App Was Still There In The Same Spot! So For The Hell Of It I Went Ahead & Moved Another App Just To Find Out That Every App & Widget On My Phone Had A Duplicate Under It! I Then Went Ahead And Took Both Off, & Replaced Them With A New Icon (Same-App) & It Seemed That My Phone Got Faster! One Issue Is That The Sense Clock Widget Would Not Recognize Being Long Pressed, So I Had To Reinstall The Clock Widget, Which Automatically Rebooted My Phone For Some Reason! After Reboot All Was Fine, Until Today When It Happened Again.... My Question Is WHAT THE HELL IS CAUSING THIS??

No, there isn't. Maybe the Rom file you downloaded was corrupt. Try re-downloading it and flashing, and if you still have problems do a logcat and send it to the dev who made it.

No, I haven't and won't. I don't like sense at all. Plus, it's a sense THEME, not a sense ROM. Sense is tied in with the framework so much you can't just pick and choose what you want from it.

[Q] Getting Vanilla android lockscreen?

Is it possible to get the original lockscreen and replace the LG one. And that without having to flash a custom Rom or such,?
Get widgetlocker, very similar to the vanilla one, if not better
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA App
I just want the stock looks, and Widget Locker is not free
be careful with widget locker, the app is reported to increase battery drain on O2x
I guess we'll all just have to wait for CM7

You can use any Sense ROM. Just delete HTCLockScreen.apk before you flash the ROM, or delete it using RootExplorer or similar (this will leave you with the AOSP lockscreen). Once done you can run a command to force the Google setup which will then give you the widgets and camera shortcut ... Here is the thread with instructions, it's really simple and would mean you wouldn't be limited to a specific ROM :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2350751
 Yes! That is the help I was looking for!! Thank you! I will try that right away. My perfect ROM is Sense with elements of ASOP.

[ROM]Team Haters GUMMY 1.2

Earlier I was searching for the gummy rom, but found that ALL links were taken down, But when I was looking through my SDcard I found the zip for the rom!
Pretty nice! This rom would be my favorite, however When I flash it, my home button doesn't do anything, I even used the NavBar, didn't do anything.
Wipe dalvik, cache, factory reset, and system.
CHEERS!
If you need a different rom, I have a literal SH*TLOAD of roms.
I prefer not to use Gapps, but you certainly can.
Camera is operable, but no camcorder or panorama

The home button may be as simple as a button in /system/usr under some text file in the keymap folder I think. You may copy it from a CM 9-10 ROM. I don't have a D3 anymore but saw this and was happy to see it posted because it is such a cool ROM.
