As promised, here's the first CM10.1 build for the N5110, the N5100 will get it after this is confirmed to boot. I don't know if it works or not, flash it with one of my recoveries. Device tree's for both variants will be up soon for al you developers wanting an insight. Enjoy. -- Want me to get the Note 8.0 to give you more goodies? Consider donating if you think of me as worthy. (217/400)
Changelogs will be posted on github (within device tree). Give it a try and report . Ill update the thread to look proper later on.

I love CM based roms but can't help but think I would sorely miss the built in Sammy apps like S-note, the ability to write in text fields with the Sammy keyboard and whatnot. Are there any replacements for these apps anybody is using with the Note 2 that would be suitable for the note 8? what an awesome thing it would be to have these functionalities on a CM based Rom on this awesome tablet!
Sent from my GT-N5110 using xda premium
Flashed it and it didn't boot. Blank screen. This is what happened to me when I tried to port some of the Note 10.1 Roms. Lets keep trying. We will have to have Gapps for the CM to work.
Thanks for your efforts.

I too would like to have the stock type apps. But I believe the object here is to see if we can get a ported rom to boot. Once we have this then we can port some of the other custom Roms for our device.

Yes, it is ICS, haven't tested the Theme manager yet though.
As for the gapps, I will see if I can find them somewhere else.
I dont see the theme chooser :-( Wanted to try out the new CM9 themes.
It doesn't come on there you can probably add it though.

What do you mean? Also try to get the new theme chooser in there. I will keep posted on your newest stuff

I am going to try and compile it a different way. As for the theme chooser, I don't know about adding it.
Greetings!
I saw this ROM and I was wondering, can anyone do a port? it seems very cool

yeah the rom looks amazing
can anyone port GTS5830 galaxy ace ROMS to to GTS5830I
It's a android 4.0 rom and it isn't able to be ported to s5830i yet...
This thread is so LOL
I saw that one too before we need a port! I would do it but I have no idea how to haha but this is xda, there are too many awesome developers around here

Oh you're right :/ Broadcom hasn't released the drivers yet so we can not have that awesome rom :/
PAC is Paranoid Android + AOKP (Android Open Kang project) + CyanogenMod10
You ask to port a rom, this is not a ROM,this Android is practically written from the source combining three different rom based on JB.
And you ask for port? We haven't CM 7.2 and you want this rom?

Maybe in the future, for now, we need a stable CM Kernal + CM 7.2 at least.
ROM is great, but I have tried it and it took no longer than 2.5 hours to drain the battery from full.. even if it was ported... unless you have a 2400 battery...don't bother

You made your point once, no need to emphatize more -and be a jackass IMO-.
Anyways, as in other topics were stated they were working on the binaries for the GPU, I just wanted to get a spot light in this one -as the recent port of Jelly Blast was a worth waiting for many (I know that's only a GB ROM with looks of JB, i have been following the GPU drivers and signing every post about it)-.
No hard feelings since I stated as "now", my bad.:good:

I've read that any AOSP based ROM should work. Can you guys confirm that you are using an AOSP based ROM and this has not worked?

The screenshot is from the stock ROM. I can confirm that it works without any issues on both the CM nightlies and AOKP nightlies.

PS - how have the AOKP nightlies been? I just noticed they posted the first official build on AOKP.co last night(tonight, depending on where you live).
I've been using it since the 21st, and literally the only problem I've encountered personally that wasn't fixed was an audio bug while listening through headphones. There are probably more that you can find in Roman's thread.
It'll be nice if this ever gets working. I don't necessarily mind going to stock (as I've had it on all my devices), but for some reason I actually am quite a fan of Sense 5 and feel I would miss it on my phone. Ha...
Maybe when HTC releases 4.2+ for our phones they'll use the right Bluetooth stack.
Well, I don't take credit for any of this, but I saw this one post on the XDA portal and I wanted to shared it with you guys. Maybe some of our loved developers can implement this into their new roms

Could you redirect me a download link for the kernel/ROM? If there is no kernel can I use a CM one?
Also, how buggy is it?

ROM is Great..bugs is the same as cm10.1..so if there is a bug on cm10.1,there is the same bug on mokee..
but in last release is very smooth,stable..not much battery drain..so it's good..
try to believe..
Thank you. I'll download it once home

I flashed it. Passes the LG logo and then is just stays black like its missing bootanimation and then after 2-3 minutes it just turns off.
Woow?
What works and what doesn't? Does it boots, camera status?

What is default, nuplayer or awesome player. If is nuplayer maybe that why does not boot???

@animus7
Did you think that if we had a working rom i wouldn’t share it with community?
I have flashed >20 finished compiled ones but compile successfully is one thing able to boot is another.
You should test what you produce before posting for others to try.
Soft bricking phones is bad way to get thank you clicks.
And you really? had to post your finished compiled cm12 rom on Original Android Development

Alright, there are some certain issues with this thread, which I am going to explain to the OP via PM, but I still want to point out some things, though:
If you think there's something wrong with a thread (breaking the rules, misplaced,...), please just report it rather than complaining inside the thread. All this does is making the job harder for us mods.
Also, requesting a thread closure isn't something that is done via posts inside the thread itself, it's done via reports only. It's a sign of respect regarding the OP.

That's There anyway a joke.
