hello, saw your post related to MB886_att-user-4.1.1-9.8.0Q-97_MB886_FFW-20-27-release-keys-ATT-US_BuildA.xml
flashing RSD 6.1.4, i need small help in it
i have removed those 2 lines from xml file
when i click on Start button for flash it gives me error
"Failed flashing process. 1/23 flash partition "gpt_main0.bin" -> Phone returned FAILED
any idea where im wrong?
Use Myth Tools instead. It does the same thing but without all the errors of RSD Lite.

Can someone tell me how I would go about fixing it?
I accidentally clicked "Select system to flash" inside of the latest Flashtool and loaded it with the AvatarROM boot.img
It then went ahead and flashed it like I told it to.
Where would I get the original system image from?
The other thing is that after flashing my own TA backup (my IMEI and baseband kept showing unknown) my phone wouldn't boot. It will just vibrate shortly then do nothing.
The whole reason I was in Flashtool was to reflash my kernel (Doomlord v13 of course) and then my ROM to try and fix this baseband issue.
Now when I try to flash the kernel through fastboot it shows me "FAILED (remote: Command Not Allowed)" and won't go any further
Any help would be great cause I'm stressing a bit here.
Cheers guys.
And what does flashing a stock ftf do?

I'm trying to flash back to stock with RSD and Myth, but neither is working. I've tried both Mex and AT&T versions. Myth completes, tells me everything worked, but it won't boot, it loads boot logo then goes to black screen. RSD says it failed to flash system.img because "Phone returned FAIL."
Last time I flashed manually I lost all my APN's so I'd rather not do that if I don't have to.
What xml doc is in the zip you are trying to flash? I used the one from the general section and got it to work. Its the flash stock roms with rsd thread

I managed to flash back to stock manually without losing APN's. I just had to erase the modemst partitions (is this even necessary?) before flashing the modem partition, but in the XML, erasing those is a few steps after flashing the modem.
Hi,
after rooting and flash cmw i´ve try to install the RazRi_JB_X-2014-Jul-16 ROM. But the process failed in recovery.
now i´m trying go back to original CFC_9.8.2I-50_SMI-26_S7_USASMIJBRTEU.xml firmware but every time it stops in 8/12.
when i try to format system or data partition the system can´t mount or format!!
got any tipps or tricks ?
Gosh!!!!
the newest RSD Lite saved my b**t!!!
plz close this post!
To be safe, I completely reverted to stock 4.4.4. I made sure to flash the correct image with RSD Lite (TMO_RETAIL_XT1053_4.4.4_213.44.1_MR4_CFC.xml)
So my system and recovery should be completely stock.
I then tried to sideload this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61304089&postcount=864
But It does not work. I get the following error during "Verifying current system. . . " :
"/system/etc/install-recovery.sh" has unexpected contents.
Installation aborted.
WTF?
OK, reflashed 4.4.4 again and now its working. Dunno what happened!
Hello Guys, I have searched among the threads which have not be helpful enough to solve my solution.
Tried to use unbrick solution, flashed stock recovery, flashed twrp.. Upon completion of unbrick solution my bootloader is locked and i cannot get into recovery because md5 checksum failed on boot, system and recovery.
I've tried using the unbricking solution 3 times with no change.
right now it says modem, boot, recovery and system failed md5 checksum and just constantly reboots.
What do I do???
(bootloader locked)
