There's one in this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2076303
I don't think it's TouchWiz though so it probably won't work in TW roms.

I am trying to flashing At&t 4.1.2 jellybean rom that they just got it in few days ago..
Any one tried it out yet?
How is going? Please let us know..
Thanks

If it's the padawan JB rom, I don't think this will work. I think you need a t-mobile Touch Wiz 4.1.2 boot image. I don't think any one has built a Jelly Bean Touch Wiz rom for T-mobile. I've been looking all over.
If anyone can tell me how to add touch wiz t o 4.1.2 image, I'll try to do it myself.

I tried myself..you right. .it didn't work..
Thanks...
I have been looking or searching all over. ..
Still couldn't find the tmobile boot image for jellbean 4.1.2..

I asked over there if there is a chance of us getting that rom ported to here. We've got plenty of 4.1.2 boot images here but None of them are working with that rom. I got Padawan 8 running with wifi and everything but that is 4.04.

I have been using padawan 8 also..
Thanks again..

Are you talking about the Padawan rom? I've just uploaded the last ICS Padawan 9 build that the awesome ptmr3 built . I've swapped the boot image and KO files so it should be good to go

Use this link for reference and to get the other programs you'll need.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2076303
You don't need gapps or the boot image for this rom. You do need the ATT twrp though. You can survive without using the superwipe but it wouldn't hurt.
And the TMO radio is needed also.
I've already patched the Wifi and Vibrate.

I can't remember if I patched the wifi on this or not so if it doesn't work, use the fix talked about in the above link.

Yeah, all we can hope for is that TMO eventually gives us 4.1.2 s owe can use it as a base.
In the meantime, I've uploaded a Padawan 9 rom that I have already changed the boot and ko files on. I also edited the prop build. This was the last Padawan ICS build from ptmr3.
You still need to use ATT TWRP and flash TMO radio.

ure awesome!
fraughtsigewulf,
thank u very much for the links!!! I gotta be honest I was afraid to install ATT TWRP cus I felt like I would brick the phone. I used ATT i717 and was flashing new roms with blazemodem and all was good. since I wasn't getting my full 4g speed I ended up selling the i717 and got me the t879. didn't realize that wasn't much roms (or so I believe) to install and to me its more of a hassle then to you guys cus u guys are pros. but im glad u answered my questions and im going to d/l n install padawan 9.

When you downloaded the ROM, the download got screwed up, and therefore the zip wasn't signed correctly. Also if you unzip and rezip, it breaks signing. If it isn't signed correctly it wont flash. Its kind of like a safety so bad files do not get flashed and brick the phone. If you need help in fixing it i can help with that too, just ask.

[HELP] How do I Root My Note Running Android 4.1.2

Hello Everybody,
I am new here to 'Galaxy Note N7000 ' forum. I recently bought this phablet and I want to root it without bricking.
I have posted a screenshot here which shows details of my note.
After searching I have downloded this file.
"PhilZ-cwm6-DDLSC-ODD-4.90.8-signed.zip"
Is it ok if I flash this file using 'stock recovery 3e' ???
My note will be rooted after flashing this zip file??
Please Help...
Thanks in advance...

Yes.. Look for a newer version of DDLSC kernel. If you can't find, the one you have will also do the job.

I have never faced any bootloops flashing Philz kernel.. ever. just make sure you flash a DDLSC kernel only. What i meant was check if a newer version of DDLSC is available or not as what you mentioned is old.
Once the kernel is installed, the phone will be rooted with CWM recovery.

[Kernel] 4.4.2 d959 warning (super beta or not even a beta at all)

first of all this zimage hasn't been test!!!
i made this kernel with little knowledge following couple of tutorials and thanks to OhHeyItsLou !!
remember if you gonna try this kernel remember it has not been tested and til i figure it out it probably wont be tested for knob ppl.
If you are going to try it and or you are a DEV "which i think you might know how to work this out" "flashing" please be free to do.
once again i wont leave instructions on how to flash it because i havent figure out yet how to do it!!
THATS WHY I RATHER SEE A DEV USING THIS OR HELP ME WITH FLASHING THIS ON MY OWN DEVICE
Be free to contact me on any questions
flash it at you own risk ! Which we all know while flashing anything can go wrong!
unzip file and you would get the zImage.

nothing special just a kk kernel hoping to help with cm11 ~!

It won't flash in custom recovery because it's missing the "meta-inf" folder with the update-binary, etc. I'll try and write one tonight when I get home from work. Which will be around midnight central time.
I've got a meta-inf folder made and I've 're zipped it. Is this based on aosp or stock. Do I need to flash with my stock Rom or try with cm11
This die? Far as i can tell we need a kernel dev?
I downloaded zlmage_bumped.zip listed in first post and flashed it using flashify apk downloaded from Google play. Seems to have successfully flashed! My device is T-Mobile D959 running kit Kat 4.4.2 D95920h.

G935T Rom flashable to G935A devices

Hi has anyone tried this yet?.... I have and its working great i had a very frequent restarting issue while i was on the g935a roms since i got my S7 edge so i tried flashing the G935U rom and the restarts became less frequent but i tried flashing the G935T rom today after talking to a friend that has a G935V and they too were able to flash the G935T rom to their device
I have to say since flashing i have gone 4 hours without a single restart and everything works fine no issues at all.
Yep, as long as the Bootloader version remains the same, you can flash across devices.
