[ROM][GB]MokeeOS-Nexus s V1.10.436(AUG.24.12)

Hi Everybody,
This is my first ever rom on XDA. I am not a dev, i just ported this GB base rom to nexus s. I already tested everything. It works fast with out any problem. Also I have to thanks Galaxyuser who helped me to fix googleplay fc. As you know He ported this rom already to nexus s. This is the latest version of mokeeOS.

Note1: Gapps already included
Note2: If you have problem with su permission simply just flash this .zip file and youll e good. The problem is, mokee team has included the SuperUser into the rom, I tried to removed it but its related to framework stuff.
Installation:
If you are coming from ICS/JB roms you need to perform a fullwipe.
Issues:
- The only thing I have noticed so far , when you press About phone in setting you get FC, but other than that everything else works smooth.
P.S: This rom is meant to be for who want to experience a new GB rom with new UI, So please dont spam my thread. Also I am not responsible for whatever can happen to your phone. Flash it at your own risk.

Buddy, I did not ask you to flash this rom. if you dont want to flash please dont spam the thread and wait for JB rom to release.

What launcher are you using? I know galaxy user put go launcher but I didn't like it. I prefer gb over ics because it's a memory hogger!

Never heard of MokeeOS. Care to tell me what is so special about this ROM? It looks interesting.

Any plans for a 4.04 version? Can't seem to go backwards; heck Jelly Bean is even out.

The original mokeeos launcher. it looks like adw launcher but much faster than adw.

I agree. You're going to have a difficult time finding people to run this on their phone. People don't want to downgrade.

Flash it and you'll find out. It is faster than cm7,also the ui is completely different.

Guys im not trying to force anybody to flash this rom. I just port it to my device and just wanted it to share it here on xda. If you dont like it ill close the thread.

budd, I presonaly, flash all roms on my phone with out asking the op. If i find any bug i uninstall it,and i flash something else. i told you this is just like cm7 rom with a bit changes in ui and speed. thats all i can tell you.

While you may use it, I think you might be flogging a dead horse here seeing as nearly everyone is waiting for JB proper. I am sure its a good ROM but its a bit like trying to sell a VCR player when Blu Ray is out.

Hes not forcing anyone to downgrade nor is he trying to sell an old product. hes simply trying to share his own work. if you dont like it just click back, dont post about how no one wants it.

Hey Guys!
So this will technically be my first work here on xda (besides testing for various devs).

Again, this will most likely not work because i took this file DIRECTLY from the CM9 that munjeni made.
If I cannot get this working, I will try to get into themeing and make a Touchwiz systemui (i love green). :good:
I'm fully aware that brnt here on xda has made a Android 4.0 style systemui, but i really want the BEHAVIOUR of the notification shade.
Even though I am a TOTAL n00b at themeing I hope you guys will show some support and give some helpful suggestions and comments on my future work. IM LOOKING AT YOU BRNT!!!!! :silly:

Yes, I have tested this and it does in fact NOT WORK............yet..............
it is intended for sense-based roms.
Because I took it directly from CM9 it for sure doesnt work on sense yet.
Im trying to get it working...
And guys, please read entire post before downloading...

There will be requirements to port parts of the framework, and possibly modding many other files relating to it.
It will take alot of work mate, you can try it out but it will probably require more work than you first thought.

i think they are absorbing the new ICS rom from LG still. I think that ROM is pretty decent.

All of the devs that solely worked on our end have moved on. All of the action happens in the optimus 3d section

that stock ICS rom is a pain in the ass! atleast for me! it was so lagging and slow!actually my phone is currently bricked coz i was trying to root it using OS hacking's method! i love this phone and i dont wanna sell it off so i would welcome any new great rom! am currently still suffering with unbricking it!its a soft brick and i can still access CWM !

You could upload here or upload it to the O3D forum since roms are cross compatible!

I followed it and some how it partially helped! I managed to install the stock gingerbread rom! My issue right now is that the rom has an incomplete user interface as shown in the image below! And it was pre rooted(found it rooted)! That doesn't mind so much since I already want to install ics!y query is that, will the LG mobile update tool work for me??? Since the phone is already rooted! Or should I unroot it first??

While I do like this xbsa vr I'm run in, the dirty american in me is just ever so slightly put off by my device's identity confusion. -it thinks its a p920- which has no bearing at all on how excellent this from is at all, but I think it would be thrilling to try something american made I say go for it! I for one at least want it.....also can someone tell me what pmw stands for what its purpose is and how crucial its presence? Please and thank you.

[Q] [REQUEST] Samsung Stock Keyboard on CM10.1

Hi people, just enjoying as a happy kid the cm10.1 rom by maclaw really fast really cool and everything but there's one thing I miss about Samsung... the keyboard, just asking myself if has anybode ported it to cm10.1? or can anybody do that? Just searched some other posts but I didn't find anything, and if there isn't such thing or it is not possible ( :crying: ) which other good keyboard would you recommend me people? Thanks in advance!

Have you tired just installing the stock keyboard app?
Extract and copy the files into system/app and reboot.
SwiftKey keyboard is a lot better though, its a paid application but you can easily find the apk on google. The latest version is 4.2.1.202

Forgot to mention to change the permissions to rw-r-r-- for both files in the system/app folder if you haven't already.

Q : ColorOS

This goes to all the DEVS who can check this our and tell our little G Note comunity if can make a port of the ColorOS from the OPPO.

you can flash nx kernel

1- yes it's rooted, coming with default cwm recovery for 4.2.2(from what i remember, but if it's not it will be cwm based recovry)
2- you should, i don't see why you can't, it's the same like installing any cm 10.1 rom

The rom is actually quite good. It comes with basic language as chinese but can be changed to english in setting. The only drawback is there's no google playstore. I wonder if flashing gapps will work. Give it a try as it is a real ported new OS for our Note.

Well for starters you can search for the gear symbol (usual setting icons) or 设定/设置(either one) then look for the writing 语言. After that u should see 英语（usa/uk/ ) that's it

Awww I'm sorry bro. I just used it plain without installing any apps for just a day before I reverted to my backup.. maybe ypu could google about oppo OS Colour's icon display. As long as u can get into setting, you can guess press don't worry.
