Charge your phone to 100%, then wait for the issue to happen. When it does, open Better Battery Stats and take a screenshot of Kernel Wakelocks and Partial Wakelocks.

here more some photo like you want i think the problem in the audioout_4
tnx for all the help bro
Audio_out4 is the speakers. It seems you're getting lots of notifications? To test it, try setting it on silent or vibrate only. This wakelock should disappear. I've had this on my HoX before, but it didn't eat as much battery as yours is doing though. Let me know if it still drains in silent/vibrate.

I don't seem to see anything that's wrong with your wakelocks ): I'm a bit interested in the No Data Connection, and No or Unknown Signal. Did your phone spend a lot of time in low reception areas?

If you're trying to achieve ZERO PERCENT battery loss when the phone is idle, you're going to be sorely disappointed. As you've noted, even when you're not actively using the phone, the battery is still discharging. He'll, even if you were to POWER OFF the phone completely, the battery would still discharge. It's physics and unfortunately I'm not educated enough to explain exactly why. 2-3% battery loss per hour is really good and probably the best your going to get.

I saw that answer coming and, no offense, I think your friend is full of it. Short of leaving the phone powered down or in airplane mode, I can't imagine how he's pulling that off. Never in my phone loving history dating back to the good old G1 have I achieved that. I've seen it done on my iPhone before, but not Android. If he's really pulling that off, get him on here ASAP and have him share his secrets! D

Ever since I converted my Sense HTC ONE to a Google Play Edition One, battery has been abysmal. I noticed that in the battery section, it's telling me that the Android System is using around 70-80% of the battery, Screen stays around 10-15%, And the rest of services (Play Music, Google Services, Phone, Gallery, etc) is usually around 1-5%.
I have the GPS *completely* off, screen is set on auto, Wi-Fi and bluetooth off, NFC is on, but I am positive that's not the issue.
My apps such as FB and Twitter are with auto notifications, same as my email. I know having auto updates and sync can cause battery drains, but I had them as well in Sense and the battery could go the whole day.
What could be causing the issue?
I have also been having this problem. Please help

Well I tried using better battery stats, and it the kernel seems to be draining 60% of my battery. Stock gpe kernel.

Most days it drains a lot faster than this. From 6:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. its usually on 20% or less.

that's because you are using 3G network which is causing "msm_hsic_host" wakelock
use WiFi more than 3G if possible
wakelocks prevents phone from sleep for battery saving
HERE is the better explanation for this wakelock

Recently my nexus 6 has been having pretty poor battery life. It estimates about 5 hours left on a full charge when before I would have close to double that. Im running franco kernel r25 on stock android 5.1 build LMY47I. I've heard the new google play services update could be a problem too.. which is version 7.0.99 if that helps. Please, any help would be great. Thanks!

an app. its called wakelock detector
There are lots of settings but wakeloc detector will tell you real quick what's going on. After that we can go from there. Also you might update to Franco's test build r26, its a couple pages back in his thread. I think it fixed a few wake issues.

franco himself said that build would not effect wakelocks in anyway. It just modified the idle loop in the cpu scheduler to allow the cpu to idle easier.

I thought I had seen the opposite posted in his thread. Could be wrong though.
just copy and pasted his post. At least thats what I got from this post.
"If you wanna test a new feature of r26 which is a patch from upstream that instantly idles (idle is not offline, it's a shallow power state when there no jobs running on the core to preserve energy) if a core is running with <= 1 job instead of going through a idle_balance() loop which goes on to decide if the core should or shouldn't enter idle, and it's not cheap. With this patch it also reduces the overall load_average since it reduces idle_balance() calls by 75%. In theory it should improve battery life. boot.img attached
I don't have numbers, but I sent the patch to imoseyon and he's already testing it. With your help we'll get some pretty numbers soon. This is completely agnostic of wakelocks, so if you have them, you're on your own, like you always are."
This is what you want see in wakeloc detector. As close to 0% as you can get. Just find out what's running/waking up and start working on stopping those.
Wakelock Detector is great but I honestly like Better Battery Stats better myself. Look for the XDA version on here, it's free

I know a ton of people love gsam, but whenever I've tried using it, it just gave me that bloated app feeling. If it works for you that's all that matters.
I use gsam also just to check how things are running. Greenify once wakeloc detector tells me what's going on.
I downloaded an app called battery doctor and that has helped a lot. Going on 31 hours with moderate use
But google play services is one of the things draining the most of my battery.
I too feel like I'm struggling to get passed 1 day with really hardly any use. My phone sits on my desk most of the day and I peek at it if it goes off. Most of the time when I do get a notification, I check my gmail on the PC, as well my messages via Verizon Messages (though I still use Hangouts on the phone). It never fails by the time I get home, I'm usually around 40% battery and I feel like I've hardly touched the device all day.
I've download WLD which I've used on previous devices so hopefully I can post back after today and see what's draining my battery.
Hey Guys,
It's an Exynos 512GB.
Earlier the drain was caused by a wakelock called Job intent delay, Which was sorted after I installed naptime.
I've posted screenshots here from BBS and Gsam both. Can someone help me with the next steps? (which apps to debloat, which services to block)
Just AOD taking all the juice
Yes just disable always on display

Don't get lost in the %'s,they're meaningless w/o the proper context.
If you're getting a full day's use w/o having to top-off,then you don't have a problem.
From the screenshots posted, you're sitting at 88%-89% battery & off the charger for over 10 hrs,I don't see where anything is a "problem"..........

what about clear cache and Dalvik cache?
try to clear these and then let the phone settle for one day or two
i think you will see improvement
Is there any battery life issue that anyone may have encountered ever since the previous two updates.. my 6000mah battery that used to stay for 2 days minimum has gone to a single day. It's all been after the update and i saw plenty of forums in Asus itself of the same thing.
Reference :- https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/54786/battery-drain-issue-on-rog-3
Anyone got any leads for this?

What is your battery usage? Have you tried a factory reset?
What is showing as consuming most power? An optimized debloated ROG 3 with a healthy can go a week on stand-by with data enabled and even longer (no kidding) and easily 2-2.5 days with normal use.
You have to pinpoint what is doing it. It's wearing down your battery as well...

I tried, actually. The thing is i fear the Android system itself. Coz in one of the threads on the Asus website forums, there were people discussing Play Store or Play activities that keep auto restarting and also twin apps.
So for starters i did try to force close play services (can't disable coz of the emails), then battery turned out great. But afterwards it started reducing again. Same with twin apps.
I ain't kidding too. It's supposed to a 2-2.5day phone easily with the 6000mah battery, but for me it's a single day max to max a 12+ (3-4) hour phone

You can also try to use the Naptime app, it forces the phone into Doze when screen is off. Adb access or root is needed
GSAM can also be used to find the culprit
If disabling Goog Play Services stops the issue, it's likely linked to one or more running apps or processes. It's likely not Play Services itself but because one or more other components are making calls to it. Try to review all the running apps & services on your device and selectively disable them and gauge the difference. Apps that do a lot of syncing, using location services, excessive notifications (cloud messaging), Firebase indexing, etc etc.... If you have a good app manager tool, that will make the hunt easier.
