flip cover - that isnt a battery cover replacement - Galaxy Note II Accessories

as per title, i have a flip cover which clips over the back of the phone. it is notthe battery cover replacmenet flip case.
I prefer the one i have as offers more protection, it came in a genuine looking box stating it was official, but i can not find it anywhere... i ordered a eLife one that looked very similar:
h**p://www.amazon.co.uk/eLifeStore%C2%AE-Samsung-Galaxy-N7100-Leather/dp/B00AEM1E0E/ref=sr_1_25?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1368100311&sr=1-25&keywords=note+2+flip+cover
but the build is rubbish, its shape is bad and doesnt fit well.
any idea s of where i can get a genuine version of this particular flip case? (the phone slips in and is held securly by the corners "lips" i guess i cal lthem. mine is light / sky blue on the outside, plastic on the back and leather front and spine.

There was a thread a while back that discussed folio covers and several of the type you describe were revied. Try a search for "folio" and or "flip" and covers and see what comes up.

Incredible "bumper" case?

Does any manufacturer make a "bumper"-style case for the Incredible? I'm looking for something like the iPhone bumper cases, where the case only wraps around the four side edges of the phone, leaving the back exposed.
I'm really just looking for something to cover the sides and corners - has anybody seen anything like this?
no, and why would you only want it covering the sides?
I have the white battery cover, and I like the look of it, but I want to protect the corners against drops.
Doesn't verizon still sell the clear plastic case that snaps on? Its what I've got on mine. It doesn't obstruct the viewing of the back, and it protects the silver on the HTC logo too (I've heard that'll eventually come off and become black).

ebay has hundreds
Or you could find a cheap case and take a dremel to it.
Look up this case I think you might like it. "Speck Candyshell HTC Incredible"
Boxwave makes a clear TPU style flexible case, like the Amzer/VZW cases. Link below....

What's wrong with your reveal case?

Nothing! This thread was made BEFORE I got the Reveal case, made the other thread, or filmed that video. That was my solution.

Incipio SILICRYLIC with kickstand

I was wondering if anybody has tried one of the incipio SILICRYLIC cases with the built in kickstand?

i have it on mine and it is a good case fits very well and kickstand is good
How much thickness does that case add to the Tab? It's hard to tell from the description and the photos.
Looking for a case like this that doesn't add too much weight or size.
It does add more width. But I assure your tab does feel very secure. I dropped mine a couple of times, not a scratch. Recently I bought a Belkin case for $8, not bad, thinner.

There are many different cases and screen covers out there, but the Incipio case + Zagg screen seems to provide the most protection. I use my Tab like that all the time, and for serious work (like cloud computing, I'm a writer) use a folding Bluetooth keyboard. Terrific combination, and I get my buck a word anywhere...
Hints:
1. I attached a belt clip to the polycarbonate part of the Incipio case, and let it dangle. Super geeky.
2. After the Zagg screen has fully dried/cured, etc. wax it (really). Super slicky.
Case is fat tab fits wonderful stand sucks bad falls when placed on a desk. I purchased a different clear case woth rubber sides that performed way better then this pos. I purchased the other case on ebay for cheap under 10 bucks shipped from japan they make black rubber or white with clear case.

I've had my galaxy tab in this case since it was new back in april and its taken some falls from about four feet onto tile a few times no problem. The kickstand is for watching videos not typing. Incipio also has a lifetime warranty and they hold up their end if you have to use it ehich I had to since they redesigned the case.

Body Glove & Flip Cover Case Both Arrived Today

I think I like the more conventional Body Glove case better. Fits like a glove . Flip Cover is a little awkward to use and not as functional. Opening the cover and folding under to use the phone is a little complex and decidedly different. I think the Body Glove provides more protection even though it doesn't cover the screen. I use my short pocket anyway. Body glove courtesy Sprint and Flip Cover from Mobile Fun.
Some review with picture would be really appreciated

You can find pictures all over Google.
I love my flip case. Felt a little strange at first (like a book!) but after a few days I've got used to it. Never feel the need to fold the cover round the back, but then I tend to find myself using the phone mostly with my right hand and as the cover opens to the left it doesn't get in the way. I do wish it protected the sides of the phone, but I got a £3 Shocksock from Amazon so that keeps it safe
Just picked one up @ a Sprint store for $24.99. Fits perfect, good minimalist design took couple days for me to find one here in Lost Wages since TMO wont be selling accessories until Nov 7th
I know this thread is a little bit old, but a question I and several others have is if they would both fit at the same time? Would the flip covers "binding" get in the way? Thank you.
shouldnt
but a Japanese brand called ray-out released a tpu specifically designed for use with the oem flip cover
http://www.ray-out.co.jp/products/sc02ec6/
the only problem i can see is becoz the gn2 in korea or japan has a tv antenna, the cases sold there all have a hole at the top right corner
im gonna buy it from rakuten, which is similar to amazon in the states or gmarket of korea

Bumper guard for flip case

Ok I bought an oem flip case (the kind you replace the battery door and it protects the screen). Does anyone know of a case or bumper guard to protect it that would be compatible with it? I bought the flip case because my battery door broke. So id like to prevent buying just a battery door then another case on top of it.

Also I know that you can put a flip cover and a UAG on. The issue is that you cannot open the flip case all of the way unless you cut part of the case. Also, if you don't cut the case, I hear that the volume buttons become very difficult to press.
I think really any case that is made from a soft, flixible material on the sides would probably fit the phone and the flip case, since it only really adds the little part on the left side as far as extra bulk goes.

any flip cases with magnetic front? not a clasp

i had one for my xperia z ultra and when the flip cover was within half an inch of the screen it would be pulled towards it. the only ones i've seen are the ones with a magnetic clasp which i don't like. i've thought about adding magnetic tape to the inside of the s-view flip case i have now but figured to check this route first.
