I have stock Indian firmware installed on my SGSA.
I have tried these games:
GTA Vice City
Temple Run
Temple Run 2
Temple Run OZ
Iron Man 3
All the above games are playing smoothly without any lag.
But the only game which is unable to run properly is Subway Surfers.
It lags so much that I am frustrated with that game now.
What's the actual problem?
Our android is playing games smoothly that are of even more than 1 GB but unable to run a game which is less than 50 MB?
this problem comes even with other phones too....this is the issue with the game not with phone,if you use custom kernel it runs smoothly most of the times but again occasional hiccups are inevitable..
Last update of Sub. Surfers have many bugs, i mean the Tokio level.
I am try all custom kernels with all IO/schedulers and allways have some lags.
So, we must wait a new update or a bugs fixes.

I dont know what you 3 are doing, but my subway surfers tokyo update had no lags at all , just a little hiccups sometimes i even managed to make a 75,000 score with it. change your governor and i/o scheduler . maybe it can help
I have now installed Chucky`s Master ROM version 7 and using kernel CoCore 6.0 with it and now subway surfers is running smooth like butter
I just installed subway surfers tokyo on cyanogen10 beta2. Game is smoooth as butter. :thumbup:
Works fine on my device, there are small lags when on Power Saving mode, otherwise it runs perfect.
No lags on Subway Surfers for me now i updated to the Tokyo version. The Rome version was so laggy for me but i new it would be a software problem not the actual phone fault. Reached 2.3million on the new update..smooth like butter

Listen the bugs were only in the specific version of subway surfers theupdate to japan level the latest one had alot of bugs thats why lagged as hell... but now the latest 1.2.1 i think has bugs fixed thats why no more bugs made over 100,000 points

My phone reboots automatically on CoCore 6.0 but now I have flashed 5.6 and never rebooted. Do you know why?
By the way from where you get CoCore 6.1, I can't find it in the CoCore Kernel thread?

not true. for the nexus s they are high because iy has a native ext4 file system. all nexus s get high i/o scores.

What Kernel u suggest is the best, I'm looking for stability+speed+battery+stability, so far every single one I have tried makes the phone crash with BT and browser mainly, also if by chance do u have any recommendation on how to improve the camera recording so it will not glitch as much.... thanks in any case for ur input.

I was looking for that too. In my opinion Trinity TUV10 or TUV11 have best battery/performance ratio...

what exactly happens by removing /system/lib/egl/libGLES_android.so?
OpenGL performance shoots to the sky. from 17 FPS~ to 65 FPS~[Capped] in 3D planet test.
Max. I've done is 5100+ on T1.44 w/o libGLES_android.so hack. But 6100 is so monstrous !

personally, i use the TEUV 880mhz trinity kernel as a daily. its underclocked and undervolted, but has a high bus and overclocked gpu. its fast(like a normal 1.2ghz kernel) and great on battery life. you can find it in the op of the trinity thread in developement.

there is no method to adjust the voltage. try tuv. its a 1.1ghz undervolted kernel. it was my fave until teuv showed up. youll probably have better luck with it.

that is a build in function to keep the phone from overheating when it is already hot, this is because a screen in high brightness will also produce heat

But I need maximum brightness in case of outdoor daylight use.
Previous ROM never have this trouble.
Does this means that newer version v10e generate more heat?
How it contradictive with europe v10f which reported successfully lowering phone's temperature.

Just try the v10f. For me it still gets warm, but I can't tell the difference to v10e anymore, it's too long on v10f.
I don't have experience of this but there are many complaints in local forum of this after the upgrade, especially from those who spend quite a long time playing games Whigthe device.
You can brighten up with app "brightness level" on market,it can set 100% brightness

Optimus G has a newer cpu so I think it will not have the same problem.

Nexus 4 does not have this crap restriction!!!
This is pure KOR crap...since Samsung first started this on SGS 2...such retards!!!

This doesn't affect the brightness. There's a few methods to disable nvidia prism, but our brightness is controlled differently, its called smartdimmer, but by echoing 0 to enable it the screen goes all messed up

Been there, done that there's some stutter present in some games that wasn't there on stock. Some work smoother though its weird!

you should try using @laufersteppenwolf kernel as there have been severe improvements to gaming in games such as Most Wanted when the gaming governor is enabled.

Yes most wanted is super smooth! But nova 3 lags a lot worse and so does MC4 online, I think it depends on whether the game needs the GPU boost. Dungeon hunter 3 was better too

Hey guys sharing my trick for no lag in almost all games.......hope it works
Its working i can play jet pack joy ride,subway surfers,temple run etc games with almost no lags(very rare lags)..
So lets start,
1.download android perfomance booster app from market.
2.Then download seeder 2.0 app from xda or try googling it (or wait i will upload that)
3.Use chainfire 3d with qualcom plugin and reduce texture quality..(optional step)
4.open seeder and select the options like in screen shot and the restart your phone and then start seeder again but dont change anything then close that..
5.Then open android performance booster and click boost performance then close this app.
6. Start your game and enjoy!!!
Note 1 :- if the above steps dont work then try this
Download ram expander from playstore and open it and use the settings shown in screen shot screenshot.....
But remember with ram expander you do have to follow the steps written above also...
Note 2 :- i dont use chainfire its an optional step you can use it also for more better performance.

Please don't use task killers. And swap doesn't increase your RAM the way you think it does.
Might wanna read a bit on both (how Android manages its memory and why task killers are usually harmful, and what swap is).

As I've been saying, you don't need to clear your RAM. Android manages it on its own. For the 3rd time, read about Android/Linux and memory management.

hello guys, maybe this not important coz i think all of u more expert about android than me... just sharing.. i try lot of script/tweak that i found in xda but i better use V6Supercharger+DomScript+Seeder script (not seeder apk) & cronmod script to increase internal memory whatever rom i use... :good:V6Supercharger its better ram management for me but only booting take time(not big problem i think).. i can play nova, hot pursuit, subways surfer, hawk & 50+ user apk install... maybe you guys found better script/tweak than me.. #peace y'all...
# i agree with GermainZ about do not use task killer or something like that... im read & this what im understand about memory management..

I dont use chainfire i dont ay heavy games i can play following games without any lag
1.jet pack joyride
2.subway surfers
Its real i am not spamming the thread guys
And also using data2sd fixed but i dont think its important on this topic..is it?

Hi, Gameloft just released next part of its gangstar franchise ,now for android. Wanted you to know that its now available.
Also its here to share feedback on the gameplay ,on different roms ,kernels .

Medium graphics settings on stock kernel is also fine.
iodak + Stock ROM still quite laggy on medium,vice city runs much much better

i don't know but in my Tegra 3 N7 can't see any games laggin, but in my LG 4X HD it does.. the games are laggy almos every time... the only way is putting your GPU from 200Mhz Stock to 520Mhz and you get almst 30fps on all games...

i´m using Iodaks now with stock 1.6Ghz and 520Mhz settings, no lags at all, only a few frame drops
