I finished an awesome boot animation in After Effects resolution 480x800 @30 fps but my lack of developing skills stops me from making it a flashable zip. Could you give me any links? Thanks and sorry for a stupid thread

Upload your notification here then I'll make it a flashable zip

Its not a stupid thread, I'd really like to know how to create a flashable zip as well. Especially for some of the live wallpapers I've made.

Great! So this will be a brief info about how to install custom boot animations.
Basically, if you are on CM7, and when you boot, it shows LG, then it brings you to CM7's boot animation. You are basically changing CM7's boot animation to whatever you like.
Firstly, there are 3 methods you can use (Some pros and cons will be stated for each method)
1 - Flash the bootanimation.zip from CWM Recovery (Pros: Fast and quick Cons: Sometimes might not work. And zip requires itself to be flashable.)
2 - Download ROM Toolbox from Play Store (RECOMMENDED)(Pros. EASY. Cons: Limited Boot animations available.)
Steps: install the app. Slide to the interface tab and click boot animations. Install the one you like. PLEASE HAVE A NETWORK OR INTERNET)
3 - Manual Installation (HIGH RISK LEVEL)(Should it fail, something bad happens.) Copy the downloaded .zip to your /system/media. Replace the bootanimation.zip, means that the downloaded zip must be renamed to bootanimation.zip) (REBOOT AFTER REPLACE)
Thank me if you have read this

False advertising-_- did not teach me how to edit an animation, changing/installing was already known but thanks for the contribution.

I'm using Omar's ROM. I miss the cool Pi-Llama's bootanim.
/system/media/bootanimation.zip
But be aware that other boot animations might not work on our device.
Thanks. I use bootanimation Factory to change the animation to the proper resolutions

...and if you simply delete /system/media/bootanimation.zip, you'll get the standard Android bootanimation as magic

Is it also possible to add sound to the bootanimation?
Can anyone pass a flashable zip of stock boot animation...
And any cool link to get bootanimations is appreciated...

1)http://androidbootanimation.com/ (only some)
2)Also, if you search the forums, there are some threads on custom bootanimations.
3)In play, there is an app that gets and changes bootanimations for you. Not tested it, though.
Stock bootanimation, sorry.
Guys ,I have repacked four boot animations especially for users who usually get bored with their default boot-animations. These are all flashable zips. These can be flashed on any ROM AFAIK :
1) Nexus 7 Bootanimation
2) Spheres Bootanimation
3) Doughnut Bootanimation
4) SOKP RC-01 Bootanimation

@Audio God and his team of Sonic developers for SOKP Boot-Animation.
