[Q] I can not change the bootanimation

I installed this bootanimation

from recovery and i can't change it any way
if any body can help me please

Try absolute system tools, massive library of boot animations, preview facility, and great functionality, never had a problem installing boot animations with it

[HOWTO!] Edit/Change Boot Animations For Dummies

Great! So this will be a brief info about how to install custom boot animations.
Basically, if you are on CM7, and when you boot, it shows LG, then it brings you to CM7's boot animation. You are basically changing CM7's boot animation to whatever you like.
Firstly, there are 3 methods you can use (Some pros and cons will be stated for each method)
1 - Flash the bootanimation.zip from CWM Recovery (Pros: Fast and quick Cons: Sometimes might not work. And zip requires itself to be flashable.)
2 - Download ROM Toolbox from Play Store (RECOMMENDED)(Pros. EASY. Cons: Limited Boot animations available.)
Steps: install the app. Slide to the interface tab and click boot animations. Install the one you like. PLEASE HAVE A NETWORK OR INTERNET)
3 - Manual Installation (HIGH RISK LEVEL)(Should it fail, something bad happens.) Copy the downloaded .zip to your /system/media. Replace the bootanimation.zip, means that the downloaded zip must be renamed to bootanimation.zip) (REBOOT AFTER REPLACE)

IKR. Its for newcomers. Dude if ur a coder go make yourself an animation. Newbies start from flashing and installing a .zip animation file

I'm no coder lol I was just looking to learn how to create or edit a downloaded boot ani but I've found a program that does the work for me still wanna learn though

[Q] changing samsung logo while booting ¿

i was wondering if i could change the logo that shows up during booting..!!
not the entire logo animation (samsung) thing but just the text..!!
is it possible to do so? (i am pretty much sure it is)
if yes, then how ??

Hey,you can't do that.you have to change the whole boot animation
.if u want to change the whole boot animation then install `boot animation' from play store.

nop u cnnot change..

If he's talking about the GT-S5830i static logo that shows up before the actual boot animation then the file can be found at "/mnt/.lfs/logo.jpg". Its part of param.lfs, bootloader data partition. Its possible to change it I know that much, but never tried it personally so don't know the exact details or how risky it is. See this for a bit more info.
If he means altering the animation itself to change the text on it then obviously you can't do that.

Can anyone pass a flashable zip of stock boot animation...
And any cool link to get bootanimations is appreciated...

2)Also, if you search the forums, there are some threads on custom bootanimations.
3)In play, there is an app that gets and changes bootanimations for you. Not tested it, though.

Is possible to change the current XT890 boot animation for the new one (MotoX and MotoG)?
I think the new boot animation is awesome!

Yes it is easy to do. Replace the bootanimation.zip in the system/media folder with the one u like. It is possible that u need to resize all the pictures in the zip to the format of our phone to get it nice on the screen.

Just search Google play for the word root and then look for an app called boot animation it will Change the images and stuff for you and set it seems to work OK for our phones worked good on mines lol I have a doctor who one lol
