Qualcomm DAC
Sent from my LT29i using Tapatalk 2

Indeed, the DAC for phones that use a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (and maybe other Qualcomm processors) use a DAC that's built into the the CPU. The Snapdragon S4 DAC seems to have a pretty good reputation for sound quality.

hi.
thanks for the information...
i also wanted to know that how would it fare against the yamaha audio chip in the galaxy S2?
i've sold my galaxy s2 and ordered an xperia tx which i would get in 2-3 days..but i was really concerned about the audio output from the tx.
my S2 sounded bad by default and i had to tweak it a lot..
any help will be much appreciated..

Not 1 anyway, koss porta pro sucks.
Would reccomend sennheiser.
Or 3. Its just a question about taste.
I'm listening to 30% dubstep, 30% rap and 40% rock/punk rock. And sennheiser works like a charm

I got some nice pair of Sony in-ear headphones. They were about 10 quid from Tesco. They have really nice bass response and are made well. Use poweramp player to get the full potential.
Model number is MDR-EX10LP.

Skullcandy!
You really must try the skullcandy earphones. They're really good. I've bought them because my old ones broke, and I must admit, the sound quality is much better than my previous ones (JVC).
i dont know about specific earphones but my experience, they lack bass bit heavily so go for earphone that can support heavy bass?

Hey all, I was considering buying a pair of these bad boys. I was also considering getting the apt-x transmitter for another $50 with them. So a pair of Bluetooth headphones and the transmitter for about $150 American. Thoughts? Suggestions?
I really would like to buy a good pair of Bluetooth headphones, but not in ear buds or anything behind the neck. I was wondering if these looked good to anyone or if there's another pair I should get instead.
Thanks in advance guys!

Well.
The most popular ones are JVC, Beats, SkullCandy and Philips. In the nowaday market though....
Who knows why my bluetooth headset volume is so low?!
You could try using an app like Volume+ or Volume Control. Just search "volume" in the play store. They should be able to increase the output volume of your Bluetooth audio.

Anyone know which DAC the HTC One uses?

Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
It uses some standard Qualcomm dac that comes built in with the chipset, can't remember the model number and such but it sounds great. Maybe not QUITE at Wolfson level but very comparable. Music sounds vibrant and punchy, and the bass is solid.
If I helped you out hit thanks

Reasonably cheap and really good sound. Mic and 1 button remote working on XV
Jabra is overpriced, sony mh750 wasn't that bad..y not get sony ex300 xperia z's headphone? Heard it did pretty good job in bass and clarity. OH,btw.. I'm using a jvc Ha S500. No android remote button. But I bought an extension with control.

Dun buy ibeats, buy urbeats..coz ibeats button only work for Apple. The urbeats from HTC works. Xperia Z's headphone would better. And it's cheap. You can get it in ebay around 10 USD.

mmm. okay i am a big fan of xperia family, so ill get a xperia Z headset...
The Sony headsets that come with the mid-high end models are excellent.
If u are paranoid abt sound quality like I do.. I would say get jvc's carbon nanotubes headphone.

Mmm.. But in here I didnt see jvc branded headsets.. That's bad.. And tell me what u got? Jvc model.. Post a pic

I import it over to my country...as they dun sell it to out from japan. And u can try buying it in ebay, since most eBay seller is from japan. I dun think there will be fake product or watever so.. Since china just imitate famous product only like beats all these. They have earbuds version of carbon nanotubes based headphone..would be pricey. But the quality is superb. Burn in produce better sound XD

Sony mh1c !!!
The SONY MH1C is excellent, far better than the stock sony headsets. And it is relatively cheap.
It has an extremely wide banwidth, with perhaps a little lack of bass, but this can easily compansated adjusting Clearbass.
I have some history with headsets, none with mic or control.
All started with the Phlips SHE9550 that's very bass head and some times depending on the EQ the bass blow away the other frequencies. After that one I had a Sennheiser CX380, this was my first contact with above average quality phones and this one emphasis tha clarity. My last is the Sennheiser CX475 that have bad contact. The CX475 has amazing sound quality in a very compact house, I can lie over it without feeling.
Overall durability of them were about 1 year give or take. Now I have no money to by a new one:crying:

Audio quality bluetooth

Hi. Im really thinking about getting a z1. A thing wich is very important for me is quality in the sound via bluetooth. Use jaybird bluebuds x alot when im working out, so its important to have really good range, high enough volume and good sound. Have the boeffla kernel with excellent quality on s3.
So any thoughts about this?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I use Beats Wireless. I used to have s3...after I moved to Z1 I did not see any difference. But you know they say that Z1 doesn't have as good sound as s1 which was the best on galaxy family. For me the sound quality is OK, but not great.
Go to some mobile phones shop or carrier shop and just try if it is good enough for you...
Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
I'm using the backbeat go 2 sound quality and volume are excellent for music and videos but somehow for gaming their is some microsecond delay....
But that's a android problem, BTW Bluetooth audio quality is better than my note 2...
