how to fix rommanger it doesn't flash into CWM from vol up down and power anymore

few days back i updated from v2.2.2 10d to v2.3.4 20h
I have rommanger v5.0.0.6 freeversion with 5.0.20cwm
i also flashed older CWM versions but still it
doesn't boot in CWM From vol up down power
can anyone help me how to fix this problem
I Will be greatful if someone helps me !!!
Try using only vol down + power and release them when you are in CWM.
Any one know how to solve this problem !
As you are saying about upgrading - do you have root/su access now? If not, root it... If there is a problem with rom manager, try to reinstall it. Try to manually install cwm. There is great app for rebooting in recovery - Optimus 2X recovery reboot, try that too.

Phone bricked ..Quick boot factory reset

Hello
i first flashed v 30b then wanted to switch with that IGIO 2.0.2 phone bricked then i used smart flash and now im on v 10A then i rooted my phone with Blackjack .. then i installed Quickboot to get in recovery..but everytime i try this ..it gives me a Factory reset and dont get me in recovery
Any ideas what to do ?!
and any recommendations for a highly customize rom and somehow stable ?
thanks inadvance
I guess you installed a rom that has a locked bootloader.
1. DOWNLOAD THIS ROM
2. FOLLOW THIS TUTORIAL
3. THANK TO N00BY0815
You`ll get Gingerbread rooted.
After you do these steps just copy rom manager to your sd card or download it through Google Play, then download the rom you want to install, copy to sd card and reboot into recovery .
Before installing quickboot you must install ROM manager and CWM, then you can install quickboot and go to custom recovery.

If you install rom manager there`s no sense to install quickboot.
You can go to recovery from rom manager by option "reboot into recovery" .

[Q] Phone bricked, Just a simple request (PLEASE)

Hello everyone,
I had to format /system to install a custom rom. The installation aborted so I don't have any os on the phone now.
I can still acess to cwm recovery but not to the download mod (so forget about flashing .kdz). I tried flashing other roms without sucess.
Could someone send me his cwm backup so I could restore to it ? Or just a link for the stock european rom in the format .zip (so I can flash it by cwm ?)
Thanks

this. don't push power button. hold vol - button, and plug in the usb (you don't even need to remove the battery most of the time)
Thanks guys you were right. Now I'm in S/W upgrade mod. What should I do ?
I am trying to flash kdz file with lg flash tool. Now the device is recognized. I Hope it will work
I flashed the stock firmware and it works !
Thank you very much !!!!

cool!
next move is to root-it and instal CWM 6.0.3.1.
and after that you are free to go with custom roms...
good look!

Wifi isn't working after restoring passwords

I have just got my new lg optimus 4x hd, which i have updated to v20a using lg's updater (official), i have rooted and unlocked bootloader, everything was working great but then i used WiFi Pass Recovery & Backup http://goo.gl/NMMM0 to restore my wifi networks, after this wifi was working until i restarted the phone and now i can't get wifi to work, i tried restoring backup made on my new phone and using the reset in the app but the wifi will not turn on, it just says "turning on" until eventually it gives up.
I also tried deleting (after backup) the wep_supplicant.conf file at /data/misc/wifi and restarting but still no success,
I also tried a full wipe but it didn't work.
has anyone got any better suggestions or will i have to reflash the rom which i did try briefly with lgflash tool but failed.
Could someone send me their web_supplicant.conf file and entropy.bin, (i guess you may want to edit the file and delete/change the passwords before sending not that i'm gonna steal your wifi )
Thanks
Try to reflash rom with kdz or if you have a nandroid backup to restore it or make a factory reset in cwm

I've now got a nandroid backup so i've got something to fall back on

Install Update From External Storage

After having to reset my phone because of a failed root attempt, I noticed in the stock recovery there was the option to install updates.
I tried putting a KDZ in the root of my sdcard but that didn't work.
What filetype does it need to be and what filepath?
Or is it not possible?
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk 2
"install update" option in recovery is to install signed zip files, not kdz files. for example CM roms are in a zip file which u should install via recovery. but its not this easy. read the instructions if u wanted to install one.
It also has an option to apply update from cache. Isn't that where official updates are downloaded to?
Is there anywhere to get the official JB update in the format that can be flashed using stock recovery?
Sent from my LG-P880 using Tapatalk 2
Would restoring a Nandroid of a freshly installed official JB ROM work?
From stock 4.0.3, locked bootloader, although I could try to unlock it again.
