Got it for 22 US dollar from amazon
Just from 2 days ago., it was 60% full when the first use, i tried to fullydischarge it and then charged over night for about 7 hrs
and it still on till this moment !
i want to tell ya that yes i needed it because am a very heavy user. the normal battery dies for me @9pm from 9am till 9pm yes thats good but i love night life and always stay uplate and hang out with friends till 1 or 2 am
So the idea of charging in work or car charger isn't good enough for me so i decided to go extended
So till now from 9am till 2 am it was 48% left Woooow amazing isn't it that from the first charge and should do better with little more cycles
i judge a battery by the screen use not by switching off all features and screen and then am happy with 12 days of working hhhhhh
so Now its 1day and few hours with around 6 hrs of screen play, with 3G always on with my work area low on coverage for 3G and phone keeps strugling to get 3 bars (thats kills battery) wifi on sync on gps on all on
i forgot to mention that i always full day connect my bluetooth headset (LG HBS730) and stream music in my car thru bluetooth
so to sum all up for you:
1 day of fully working all features ON 6 hours of Screen play (Streaming movies and heavy games) 3 mail accounts and Skype viber tango whatsapp facebook twitter notifications ALL ON and still 37% remaining
for the price ! THATS AMAZING
Yes its little heavy but balanced i dont care a case mmm.... i cut thru my clear tpu case and sometimes i dont use cases (its 7month old already)
So here are the pics for you
If you are that excited about extended 6200 mAh battery, imagine how you going to cream your pants once you will discover Zerolemon 9300 mAh
Btw, I'm digging how you're using clear bumper around it. I ordered a similar black/white bumper to try it with my Zerolemone TPU case. I hope it will stretch as good as the one you have.
Haha ... yea I saw the zl but I didnt like the idea of no hard back for the fone. so got this as its only hatchback and nfc works.
the way that isnt a bumper its a tpu case and I cut for the bump.

Just wanted to mention that regular bumper cases fit the extended batteries, so no need to buy a case and Mcguyver the darn thing.
I purchased a metal aluminum case for 9.99 for a stock note battery and it slides on just find.... looks like you pretty much ended up with a bumper after you got done chopping up that case.

can u provide a link for the bumper u use ? also does it negatively impacts network signal strength ?
I have this battery as well and does quite well. I use the hyperion honeycomb case for mine. Has a kickstand, which sucks, but for the most part does the job. I only use it here and there.
I generally like the thinness of the phone, so use a slimmer case and swap out 3100 batteries most days. I hardly ever charge my phone, lol!

Hi,
I got my 1340mah battery today and thought about making some pics to compare both batteries and back covers.
First of all, GPS receiving is just as good as with the original cover.
The new back cover isnt glossy anymore. I didn't clean my original back cover to show what the biiiiig plus for the new cover is.

Compared from the front
Here you can see that the new back cover is about 2,5mm thicker than the old one.
And this is what the phone looks like with the new back cover
I am up to some battery conditioning the next days and then hope that I will get 50% more battery life. Would make sense, though.
Let us know how long the battery life is!
Very nice pics. Thanks.
Does any e-store sells only the back 'non-glossy' cover?
Nice shots, thanks
How is the camera thru the deeper back cover?
Are there any cases or other protections devices that fit Diamond with bigger battery?
Have not seen any yet?
Camera Quality is about the same though the camera opening is bigger now. I will post my experiences with the battery life here when I unloaded and reloaded it some times. With 900mah battery and 15-20min phone, some sms and some playing around a day I got about 2,5 days with shutting the phone off at night. I expect about four days lifetime now and I would be very satisfied with this.
Where did you buy the battery and the case?
lets hope they make a ignito version!
yea dude..let us know where ya bought the battery and case!
I am from germany and they are available here now. I got it from cyberport.de for about 32 Euros including shipping.
very nice, is this htc pro original battery or another one?
You can get them from expansys in your country. Look for BP E270.
They really are good. It feels like a lot more than 50% extra power too - it's tough to make it go flat now, lol. For me the biggest plus is to be able to take it out all weekend and it makes the distance. The little bit extra size on the cover is nothing much at the end of the day and you get used to it quickly. Also as pointed out the material feels much better and doesn't leave prints everywhere.
Single best additional purchase I've made for my Diamond and I recommend it to all!

Oh yes it is. This third party batteries are real crap, they double the size of your phone and it's NOT possible to receive any GPS signal with these. Forget that crap.
And yes, this 1340mah is the original HTC battery - no problems with GPS
It's really tough to get the battery dead now, wasnt able to get it to shut off automatically yesterday evening, I got the battery very weak message and left GPS on, half an hour later I decided to go to bed and load it anyways because it didnt shut off from itself.
And about the weight? Is the difference noticeable?
well others say its noticeable... don't know maybe 20 grams?
would the non-gps 1800mah batter fit into this htc cover?
or any other ultra powerfull non-htc batter?
i really like the cover, but it can still be much better, there's still wasted space
I just got an extended 1800mah battery yesterday and as mentioned GPS is not available when using 1800mah battery, the signal seem to be not available with the 1800mah battery.
After I observe and try, i notice that the original 900mah battery can lost the signal too when we take off the back cover (you can see the signal drop in the GPS signal page) but when I put back the back cover the signal seem to be recovered. So conclusion is there must be something stick to the original back cover to enhance the signal reception strength for the GPS data. So I need some expert to help to solve the problem. I just wonder if we can just stick a piece of similar material in the 1800mah back cover and that will make the 1800mah battery function close to perfect (except the size).
Greattttt
Thanks fBx.. Very nice images and greaattt comparison.
I would like to know, do you feel battery life is increased by 50%?
Thanks a lot
While searching for a suitable spare battery for my hd2, I came across the official extended battery from HTC - hadn't seen any feedback from the forums so thought I'd post it here.
Search for it on the HTC accessory store (sorry, I can't post links as a newbie).
2300 mAh [good]
Has a stand [probably good]
Not due till 5th April [bad]
Costs 50 british pounds!!! [bad]
It sure is ugly [really bad]
I dunno if I'm gonna bother waiting - for that price, I can buy about 10 cheapy standard batteries on ebay.
Too expensive for what it is... why don't you simply buy 2 other extra batteries on ebay for 10 USD for one... much more better alternative no ?
well standerd is 1230mAH and i just bought a 1600mAH battery from ebay for £5.99... will see how it goes when it arrives but imo its not worth £50 for the official extended although it does include the back panel (pictures of it are in another thread)
I emailed HTC about the official battery as I need a decent extended battery with 2x capacity rather than a 1600mah or so (although I ordered one of them of ebay the other day!).
They said they still can't confirm when it'll be ready - most sites are expecting it in April just now.
There will be an HD3 before it arrives!!
i bought the extended 2680mah with back extended battery from my vodafone (germany) shop...normally it costs 69,90 euro - we will see if its worth
Photos! And we need a proper review!
dang, thats one expensive battery.

i found a quiet good alternative in the neofree 4400 mAh battery . when i need the extra power i put the usb cable to my hd2 and thats it. the neofree is the reason why i stoped buying extra batteries for my devices. no more nonfitting cover/cases and blown up pockets .
regards mad
This is way bigger than i thought at first...Damn that is HUGE !! I am not as concerned about the form factor of the phone as i am of dropping the phone with that huge extra mass on it...broken screen for sure (i don.t expect to fit in any case - other than a tent )

Thats a shocking price for a battery, though i would certainly be interested in a kick stand battery cover for the standard battery.

That's an interesting alternative that I didn't even think of.
I don't care the size of the extra batterry. It's uglier, yes, but it's more funcional.
+1
I ordered it, waiting April for delivery.
I prefered an ugly back phone that to be constantly wired to something and get stressed by that!
I too find they've done a great job with the extended battery and cover.
Stop dreaming, an extended battery will always be bigger and thus will stick out, no way around that... there's no point in offering an extended battery with 20% more capacity that fits in the normal volume. If you want an extended battery it's to have at least twice the capacity...
But at least they keeped it quite stylish with a suitable metal cover and not some cheapo piece of plastic. The stand is awesome for video/GPS, which are the main reasons you'd use an extended battery for...
On no phone is an extended battery an accessory meant to be nice looking and/or for everyday use. You put it in when you expect you'll need a lot of juice, like travelling...
For everyday use I just keep a second standard battery in my bag, in case I need it, which normally doesn't happen.

Well I just got 2 of them in, and took some good shots of them. Marking them in the pictures.
Check the gallery for the links. Also, the fake battery doesn't fit with the normal back case.
*note* I knew I wasn't exactly getting legit batteries, so $11.98 wasn't a big loss

This battery blows, it really does. I want to try the other 1800 mAh variety I've seen around. Instinct tells me it's probably garbage as well, but it's worth a shot I suppose. I think I'm going to start a battery review thread for the Incredible as soon as I get around to testing the ones I have (stock, OEM 1500 mAh, this one and the OEM 2150 mAh). Too many people have the same questions about the same batteries.

I like this idea a lot
HTC Incredible
I also ordered this battery. It's about the same as the stock battery life for me. I may try to order an OEM 1500 here soon. I heard the 1800's on amazon are legit (not OEM, but work). But they don't allow you to just order the battery. You have to get 2, plus a charger.
Yuppers - I also just got my 2 and to be honest they kinda fit ;-)
I can get them into the phone and snap the top and bottom of the rear cover down but not the sides. I have been using a BodyGlove case that snaps shut so it holds things together. Since I am using the hard shell BG case I may try to remove the back plate completely and see what happens....but like you said $12 is not life changing.
For those that LIED about these batteries simply 'fitting' with the rear case and working - please do me a favor and go screw yourselves.....liars.

I was able to get my 1800 from that ebay seller to fit. I hate to push a bit harder to snap down the sides, but it fit. But they are knockoffs, so I doubt there is much statistical research into making them all exactly the same size.
Mine fit. And they work better than the piece of crap that came with my phone. Sorry if it doesn't work for you. I use my phone all day and I move around too much to charge it. I have four of these batteries. I'd say on average, the original gives me probably 6 hours, where the "fake" gives me 8 to 9. Change my battery once a day and never have to worry about charging. That's with heavy usage. And it was only $5.98.
Call me a liar if you want, just sounds like jealousy to me.
Today I got 8 hours out of it and im at 50% now. Pretty good after first charge and for $8
14 hours, 16%...
Only complaint so far is the back of the phone fits toooooo snug and therefore my case fits more snug and now it puls on my screen protector and peels it up.
I just ordered another 1500, looks like HTC sells black only batteries now.
They say 'HTC Innovation'.
Just a cut and paste of reply in another topic:
I bought two 1800 with a charger off of ebay for 15 dollars. They fit in the regular case (just barely) but they maybe last a few hours longer than a stock one. I can make it through 8 hours at work now without having to plug in. Oh well, I now have two extra batteries I can quick swap and go in case of a pinch..
It does fit in mine. Not sure if its and updated version to those of you who say it doesnt fit though.
FWIW my "oem evo" 1500mAh $4 Ebay battery did pretty well.

I bought two of these batteries from this seller and I got them to fit. And as far as them being crap, I went for over 48 hours on just one of these batteries with medium use. Try doing that with a stock battery.
I bought the HTC Express 1800 battery and it's working fine for me, and it fits in the phone. Yes, a bit snug but I don't have any issues with my case or screen protector.
IOk, I've never written a review before, but this is a new case from ZeroLemon so here goes!

As you can see it came with an Instructions Manual, the 2100mAH battery, warranty card, case and belt clip holder, and yes, even a PET film-type screen protector, all packaged inside the bag on the left.
Instructions, which were fairly detailed:
The case:
It is made out of TPU, which feels a little cheaper than I would expect for a "premium" case. (My Otterbox Defender's rubber feels MUCH nicer) Despite the "cheap" feeling, it holds together very well and actually doesnt detract from the overall feel too much. All in all, I'd say I like it. It holds the phone securely and there isn't any rattling or loose feeling.
I'm impressed with how rugged it feels.
Putting it together is fairly straight forward although there are some extra steps outside of your normal layered case.
Size comparison to Otterbox Defender:
A view of the battery port and included cable:
Assembled:
Charging Port:
So far, it has charged the phone like it should and when plugged in, charges the phone FIRST, and the external battery SECOND.
The one issue I've encountered, is the phone detects the lower amperage as a charging problem/slow charge:
It also fits well with my .33mm thick tempered glass screen protector.
The physical buttons feel fantastic! They have a great tactile feel which is very rare in a case.
Overall, it's a great case, but I think $49 is the MAX I'd pay for this case.
**NOTE: This case covers the IR emitter.**
Thanks for the review, very helpful. Can you please post a pic of the headphone jack? Will it need an extender to connect the headphones? Thanks
It looks like it depends on the shape and size of the connector. It will need to be thin. Like a Bose or Apple sized connector. I'll get pictures soon!
Also about the charging alert, it seems to charge with similar speed to the stock HTC charger (both are 5v/1amp, so it may detect some voltage fluctuation, giving the alert)

Initial thoughts...
I bought this case after using the official Samsung Battery Case. I'll do a review of that case later. The bottom line for me was that I needed significantly more power than what that case could provide. I'm heavy user to say the least. I'm not a heavy video watcher or anything lazy like that. I run a couple different businesses and my cell phone is my main form of communication. I talk on average five hours or more a day. I have calls and texts coming in from both my T-Mobile SIM and Google Voice. When I'm not taking calls, I listen Audible or sometimes music.
That daily routine is how I judge my battery life. As for settings, Bluetooth is always and connected to either my car or headset. WiFi is usually off. Screen brightness is set on auto. I am connected to Android Wear at all times. I think that covers everything.
Design...
The TPU design of the case is traditional. The case is rather austere in its design to say the least. It's all black. It's a soft, matte finish. It's a lot more comfortable to hold than one would think since its rather bulky. Heat dissipation is great which is surprising as well.
Size...
The case is big. There is no way around that. However, it is actually not too bad to hold. It's like a brick to be honest, but it really doesn't feel like one. I usually use my phone with one hand and I don't have issues doing that with this case. I will say, however, that while I don't have the biggest hands, anyone with small hands will not be able to one hand the device probably.
Power...
This is where this beauty shines!!! On an average day, I go thru almost two batteries worth of power or about 7200mah. I have yet to get this battery showing less than 50% (although I know I have to have more than 50% of the battery pack).
Final thoughts...
This case is definitely worth every penny. It isn't much larger than the Samsung Official Case but it has triple the battery life after considering the charging inefficiencies of Qi charging. If physical size is an issue for you, then I'd recommend getting the Incipio battery case as it's thinner than the Samsung but has more battery life. The Mophie case is just way overpriced for less battery.
Update 1: Sound.
Sound quality is actually very much like that of the phone without a case. The sound is noticeably louder and a little less quality. I really like where the speaker ports are. With the phone itself, the I hold the phone causes my finger to constantly cover the speaker. However, with the case, I don't have that issue.
Vibration feedback.
Vibration I did end up turning to the max. The case does make a noise from the phone vibrating against the battery. This is really only noticeable when texting.
Update 2: Battery life
Yesterday, I finally used all of the battery pack! The update though is that I noticed the pack went to zero before hitting the last bar. There's a possibility I didn't notice it hitting the last bar, but even then, it couldn't have been on 25% for a true 25%.

If physical size is an issue for you, then I'd recommend getting the Incipio battery case as it's thinner than the Samsung but has more battery life. The Mophie case is just way overpriced for less battery.

Too bulky for me. But it's a personal preference mate. If you can use it efficiently good for you!
Mine is unusable for me since the case interferes with my GPEL TGSP by causing lift.

I just purchased the ZL battery and it should be arriving today. What TGSP will work with this "case"?
Had a friend import me this over to the uk, I have always had zerolemon cases for all my phones and its brilliant especially since pokemon go got released. Got clear-coat for screen protector and no issues.
Hi. I recently purchased this productfor the reason I get paranoid that the waterproof feature of my phone would be compromise due to daily plug and unplug on the microusb port. I was thinking of using wireless charging but it takes too long to charge and it generates too much heat in which it will degrades or have a bloated battery faster.
I have one question, do any of you guys using Zerolemon still can use the USB OTG function of your phone? My USBs can't be detected though it has no problems accessing storage of my phone through a computer.
This made the phone so UGLY......No Thanks, why would I spend so much money to get my phone get fatter
off topic...what iconpack pkease?

I could literally kill someone with it
