Hi Guys,
I need help. :crying: I have a Australian HTC One, Vodaphone bought, and have been trying for the last few days to install a custom recovery. I have unlocked the bootloader via the HTC site and i now see 'Unlocked' when in bootloader. I have tried flashing all three custom recoveries with no success. It says it was successful but when I try to boot into the recovery i go straight into the rom. I never see the 'Tampered' message im guessing i should see.
Any ideas?????
Thanks in advanced.

Try to fastboot erase cache a couple times. Then just keep trying. It's strange, but it can take 5-6 reboots before the recovery "sticks" and becomes accessible. Also make sure that Fast Boot under apps is turned off.

Hello everyone! I was attempting to root my HTC One on Sprint, and I successfully completed unlocking the bootloader following the instructions found on htcdev.com. The next step (correct me if im wrong) is to flash a recovery.
I attempted (using fastboot flash recovery recovery.img) to flash ClockworkMod, ClockworkMod Touch, TWRP, and even a (supposed) original recovery img. However, each time, it fails to load the recovery. What happens is the phone shows 'Booting Recovery...', then simply goes black, never to turn on.
In order to get the phone usable, I have to hold down the power button for ten seconds and then boot it back to android. Any ideas on what's causing this?

My first question are you sure it says unlocked in hboot?
have you tried the tool they made?

Just an FYI.. You would have had more people helping if you posted in the Q/A.

Yeah, I have tried Hasoon2000's tool, but no change. I wonder, would a factory reset help?
When you try to send ity does it say .. sending? and done or does it give you an error message.
Hey, turns out I had been using Hasoon's Toolkit for the One, not the One on Sprint! It installed TWRP like a charm! Thank you! I had been stuck for weeks on this!
Cool.. Glad you figured it out... have fun flashing!!

I think I have made it worse, I though I would try and relock the bootloader and and use Method 2 - flashing RUU (ROM Update Utility) which was going well untill I got a fail message wrong bootloader. Now my phone is constant bootlooping into bootloader.
I phoned HTC UK this morning about repairing my phone they said they would replace the motherboard which would cost about £100 so I think I will have to do that:crying:

When your phone is in bootloader, does it stay there?
OR does it reboot itself

Good evening. I have a HTC One international. I tried to make my phone S-off with a toolkit fownd on another website, and somehow bricked the phone. It starts, but doesn't go past the "htc quietly brilliant" logo. I searched the forum here, because i heard it is the best, but i haven't found a clear answer to my problem.
If someone has the time, please help me.
p.s. i am a beginner in the art of custom roms, rooting and this sort of stuff, so please, keep as simple as you can.
Thanks a lot!
Can you boot to the bootloader by holding volume down and the power button for about 15 seconds?
If so, what is your bootloader screen reading and do you have a custom or stock recovery installed?
As Steve says, can you boot into the boot loader, and do you have a custom recovery installed? If you do, you should be able to re-install your ROM and boot again.
If not, and your boot loader is unlocked, you should be able to flash a custom recovery via fastboot & then install a custom rom to allow you to boot.
Hi Guys
Ever since i did the stock 4.4.2 update my phone has become unusable (being out of warranty I decided to take matters into my own hands)
I rooted my One (M7) and flashed TWRP recovery onto it with success, from there I wiped it and tried to install a custom 4.3 ROM. TWRP flagged up the install with another 'success' and told me to reboot the phone. After the reboot it got stuck on the HTC splash screen and after frustration I hard reset the phone thinking I could just try installing another ROM, wrong!
I can't get into recovery, when I select it the phone attempts to start recovery and then reboots and gets stuck on the HTC splash screen again, I can't do anything other than get into fastboot at the moment.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm new to this and although I have a pretty decent computer knowledge I've always left my mobile stock. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm using TWRP 2.6.3.0 and the rom is called 'Stock w Goodies 2.10' found here .
Sorry I'm not at home at the moment but I'll update this later when I'm able to post the fastboot results.
So I bought a HTC One Mini M7 recently (maybe a month back or so). I loved it, and I decided to root it, but I didn't know what custom ROMs were. So I decided to try getting one, and failed many times because it said failed. I had TWRP, so when I tried to flash the zip, and when it failed, it said clear cache/davlik or whatever, and I clicked it. Ever since, I've been stuck in a boot loop, and whenever I tried to press recovery, or factory reset, it would say Entering Recovery... at the top, and then the teamwin logo part would flash for a split second and keep flashing for like 3 seconds, and the bootloop would start all over again.
I tried to fastboot erase cache, I even fastboot oem lock 'd, but now it's relocked and whenever I try to enter recovery or factory reset, it just puts me back into the bootloop/bootloader. I really need help on this please.
I've also flashed a new recovery when my bootloader was unlocked, and that didn't work either. Please help, thanks!
