Hello, I really like that 4.1 JB "blinds" lock screen, but I want to have after blinds lock screen - pin or face detection too. Is this possible? Thanks for answer..!
Not that I know. I would like to have the same but for now no.
Sent from my LT30p, 4.1.2 stock, DooMKernel v5,root access, unlocked bootloader.

Anyone know how to change the splash screen (NOT BOOT ANIMATION) in 4.2.2? I just put Slim Bean on my girlfriends phone and the bright white AT&T boot splash screen is really annoying me.
I searched and found methods for Froyo and Gingerbread, but nothing for Jelly Bean.
Need same help

You can't mount ParamFS in AOSP roms. You need to be on a Touchwiz ROM to change the splash screen. Or flash the i9000 bootloader if you really really hate the ATT World Phone screen(you get fully working Deep Idle and a better key combination as a result, so its not all bad)
I recently got a C6606 T-Mobile branded Xperia Z. It is network unlocked though I am on T-Mobile. It is running the 10.3.1.E.0.191 Android 4.2.2 factory ROM.
Got a couple questions.
Firstly, I would love to root it. Nothing seems to be working. From my reading rooting this ROM is hit or miss. Any tips?
Second, I am assuming the stock ROM is odexed.
I would also like a camera app or addon that will give me full manual mode on the camera. Any out there that will work on a stock ROM?
If I change my customization to that of the international C6603 and install a 4.3 ROM will I lose the LTE and have to use the *#*#INFO#*#* menu to re-enable it or will I be SOL?
Any good guides on installing ROMs? Can I install a custom ROM with a locked bootloader?

Sorry there's nothing to present you the requirements you have described. You can stay on the stock ROM if you would like. If you still want to use a 4.4 ROM, expect to not see Bravia, XLoud, ClearPhase. LED Notification will still work, obviously.
Hi I have Xperia T with official 4.3 ROM and now I want to unlock the bootloader and install cyanogenmod 12 but my questions are:-
1-What SONY Services will not work after unlocking bootloader and if there is any way to make it work again (like Mobile Bravia and Walkman etc.....)
2-If their is any way to save my DRM key before unlocking bootloader and how to restore it's functions
3-I used this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2712253 to increase my internal storage from 1.96GB to 5.0GB , will this possible with cyanogenmod and how to do it ?
4-How's the device under android 5.1 (performance and RAM management)
5-Can I make cyanogenmod look like the official SONY ROM on Xperia T
6-Which ROM is the best (the least to have bugs)
7-Thanks in advance
Hi, I've unlocked bootloader on my Xperia T using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2447319
1. If you unlock bootloader and continue to use any JB 4.3 based custom rom then you will have all Sony stuff camera, Bravia engine, Walkman etc.. If you use any of Cyanogen based roms then you will lose Sony Camera, Bravia engine and Walkman (but you can install a ported one version which is working fine).
2. To backup your DRM keys use this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598
3. I think that it should work, but I'm not 100% sure.
And if you gonna install CM Rom I suggest that you try this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe.../rom-cyanogenmod-12-neo-s-homebuilds-t2984988 I read that its much better than the official one.
Thank You

Thanks alot for the informations, But are you sure that Mobile Bravia Engine will work after Unlocking Bootloader because I heard that it won't work after that
You are right, Bravia Engine won't work, I just checked now, but there is an option to turn it on in settings but anyway it won't work. Sorry for my mistake.
I just rooted my z3c using this great guide and I was wondering what I can do from here? I do not want to unlock the bootloader because I do not want the camera quality affected in low light. So from what I understand, with a rooted but LOCKED bootloader I can only stick with stock roms. Can I install things like Viper4Android and Cyberian Camera without running into any problems?
im using Cyberian Camera mod by mkdmc atm, its working pretty well.
I'm using a Cyberian camera with locked bootloader as well, no problems at all, and it defienatly adds some useful features.
